This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious and collaborative Philanthropy team, helping to secure transformative funding from major donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners to support our five hospitals across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. 

As Philanthropy Executive, you will support three Philanthropy Managers and our newly created Donor Insight and Proposals Manager role. You will play a key role in delivering some of the Charity's most significant fundraising priorities, including major capital redevelopment projects. This will involve producing communications and campaign materials, promoting projects across our hospitals, presenting at internal meetings with NHS colleagues, and managing donor mailings to deliver an excellent supporter experience. 

Alongside this, you will help grow our mid-value donor programme while managing a small portfolio of supporters, developing relationships that encourage increased and unrestricted giving to build sustainable income for the Charity. 

You'll also lead smaller fundraising projects from concept to delivery, working closely with NHS colleagues include the Estates team to ensure projects are delivered. As part of the wider Fundraising team, you'll contribute to cross-team campaigns, including our annual Winter Appeal.

The role

What you'll bring

We're looking for people with experience, or a good knowledge of housing management, tenancy management, leasehold or neighbourhood services.

About the role

• You'll be working flexibly, based at our Hurn office one day a week, working from home, and regular travel across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

• Salary within the £32,000 to £40,000 range, the starting salary will be based on your experience.
• You'll have the independence to manage your own diary, with the support of an experienced and collaborative team around you.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car, as you'll be visiting customers and neighbourhoods across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

About The Role

As Events Manager overseeing Event Planning & Delivery, you’ll take the lead on a varied portfolio of fundraising events across the UK and continental Europe, with a particular focus on cycling. This is a role where you’ll own the detail from the outset, shaping event plans, managing logistics, coordinating suppliers and partners, overseeing budgets and making sure everything is in place for a successful delivery. You’ll lead on our owned events as well as working with external event organisers, with responsibility for everything from course design, venues and travel through to road closures, health and safety and commemorative elements. It’s a broad events role with plenty of scope to develop the portfolio, improve existing events and identify opportunities to increase participation and return.

Job Description

Purpose of the role

The Legal Officer will play a key role in supporting ILPA’s legal and policy work on immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality law.

Working under the direction of the Director of Policy and Advocacy, the post holder will engage in detailed legal and policy analysis, support parliamentary and influencing activity, support legal project delivery, and contribute to high-quality information and engagement for ILPA members. The Legal Officer will need to work reliably and flexibly across a broad range of legal and policy issues, often at short notice.

The Legal Officer will also work with the Director of Strategic Litigation and Advice where legal policy and strategic litigation intersect.

Key responsibilities

1. Legal and policy analysis

• Produce high-quality analysis of immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality law and policy.
• Monitor developments in legislation, case law and policy, including secondary legislation and guidance.
• Prepare written briefings, updates and summaries for members, trustees and external stakeholders.
• Support the Director of Policy & Advocacy in the development and delivery of ILPA’s legal strategy.

2. Parliamentary and influencing work

• Support ILPA’s parliamentary work, including monitoring legislation and parliamentary business.
• Draft consultation responses, briefings and evidence submissions.
• Assist in engagement with parliamentarians, officials, peers and external organisations.
• Support the organisation of meetings and briefings with MPs, peers, civil servants and sector partners.

The Events and Marketing Officer will play a crucial supporting role in promoting the work of the Sutton Trust – including its research, policy priorities, programmes, and alumni stories – to external audiences through our events and marketing. This is a newly created role, introduced to expand our capacity and significantly grow our roster of external events in the Trust's 30th anniversary year.

The postholder will work alongside the Marketing and Events Manager to create, coordinate and maintain our event schedule. They will need excellent skills in organisation, project planning and communication to support the delivery of both online and in-person events, many of which will focus around the 30th anniversary in 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to create and deliver engaging events to maximise our impact and influence with key stakeholder audiences. Main duties

Event support

• Take a lead on a range of Sutton Trust in-person events and webinars, many of which will focus around research reports and government policy. This includes creating detailed briefings, managing relationships with speakers and stakeholders, working with venues and suppliers and promoting events through channels, including social media, newsletters and email invites to maximise engagement.
• Support with the development of our series of events for the Sutton Trust's 30th anniversary. This may involve events in parliament, part conferences and wider events with universities and corporate partners.
• Maintain an events calendar that can be used across the organisation.
• Manage the recording of event information and engagement on Salesforce.
• Manage digital engagement, uploading of events to the Sutton Trust YouTube channel and maximising viewership through promoting them to our audiences.

Marketing

• Advise and support colleagues across the organisation with marketing activity including use of Sutton Trust brand guidelines, Campaign Monitor and Canva.
• Work with the Marketing and Events Manager to further strengthen the Sutton Trust brand, including the updated tone of voice and messaging and new visual elements.
• Support with the proofing and production of cross-Trust marketing materials, including items for Programmes and Development teams.
• Support with the management and development of Sutton Trust email communications through Campaign Monitor.

Other

• Regularly update Communications and Research stakeholder lists as needed.
• Work with colleagues to maintain communications and content planning grids.
• Track and assess event engagement across different marketing platforms, including newsletters and social media.

Person Specification

We welcome applications from individuals who have:

• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Experience in event delivery, including in-person, online and hybrid events (even if in a voluntary role)

Terms of Appointment

The role

The Domestic Abuse Team Service Manager will act as a lead professional for Talk, Listen, Change in Manchester and Greater Manchester. This role will be to lead a diverse team of Adult / Children & Young People’s Practitioners to continue the development of a range of domestic abuse services including those focused on prevention, early intervention, behaviour change, services for victims, perpetrators and children and young people. Additionally, the role will involve building key relationships with partner agencies, local authorities and commissioners and managing contracts.
