We’re looking for a Legal Adviser who sees law as part of a wider movement for justice to join our social justice legal team in London. You’ll work alongside people harmed by drug criminalisation, poverty, and inequality — delivering outreach advice and casework in benefits, housing, and debt, while contributing to policy and advocacy that strengthens communities and challenges harm at its roots. If you believe legal work should build power, shift systems, and stand in solidarity with those most affected — this could be the role for you.

Since Release’s inception in 1967, the organisation has continuously and actively advocated for open access to justice for all individuals with a specific emphasis on substance misuse and dependency. By addressing the legal needs of people who use drugs and those in recovery the consequences can have a profound and positive affect not only for the individual but also for those who live, support and work with them. Reducing health and income inequalities’ significantly improves a person’s life chances and integration back into their community. Whilst legal services are available to the public via other sources, our client group will often be unable to access such services because of fear of stigma or discrimination.

We also operate a national drugs and legal helpline, and produce a number of free informative publications for the public, and specialist guidance material aimed at professionals in the substance misuse and dependency field.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) working a minimum of 3 days a week from our office in Spitalfields, London with the remaining 2 days working from home, if desired. The working hours are 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break.

The post holder will join our social justice legal team and will be required to deliver a minimum of 2 services through our in-person and ‘virtual’ legal services to clients attending alcohol/drug treatment centres, homeless day centres, and sexual health clinics. The legal advice, assistance and representation we provide has a particular focus on debt, housing including homelessness, and welfare benefits. The post holder will also be required (after a period of induction and/or training) to provide advice on Release’s national legal helpline pertaining to the criminal law and the criminal justice system related to drugs offences, and broader legal advice through our new Harm Reduction Hub drop-in service. In addition to the delivery of legal services, the postholder will also be required to assist with the policy work undertaken by the organisation.

We have been successful in tendering for legal aid contracts for Community Care and Public Law, and there may be opportunities for the post holder to work within these in the future.

As a member of our dynamic social justice legal team, based in London, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a minimum 2 legal outreach services at alcohol/drug treatment centres, homeless day centres and sexual health clinics in the London area, and with training deliver our expanding ‘virtual’ legal outreach services to clients elsewhere in the country.
• Completing casework resulting from our legal outreach services on issues including welfare benefits, housing, and debt;
• Providing advice to the public and professionals about legal issues connected with drug use (training will be provided);
• Updating our specialist publications;
• Contributing to our local and National policy commentary/response on drugs, and all associated legislation;
• Assisting with the development of our website and other IT-related service initiatives and their legal compliance.

Minimum requirements for the post include:

• Completion of LLB, GDL, or SQE1 and minimum six months’ experience in social welfare legal advice and casework in areas such as crime, housing, benefits, or debt.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for two passionate and proactive Upstream Practitioner’s to join our Team based in Bournemouth.

About us

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, mental health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.

The roles

We have two permanent Upstream Practitioner roles available, which are both school based and are part of our policy and prevention directorate. They will report to the Senior Upstream Practitioner and as a team, you will play a key role in our pre-16 prevention pilot, helping to identify and address the root causes of youth homelessness.

We have one full-time role and one term-time role available. Both roles are 37.5 hours per week and will be based in The Bourne Academy. The full-time role is working over 52 weeks and includes annual leave entitlement in line with Centrepoint’s policy. The term-time role is working over 41 weeks per year (39 weeks during term time plus 2 additional weeks). This role does not include annual leave. Instead, the annual leave is paid in addition to the salary.

The successful candidates will need to be available week commencing 23rd March Monday to Friday in Manchester, to undertake Level 4 mediation training with UK Mediation. All expenses will be paid for by Centrepoint.

About the role

In this role we will trust you to work with other team members on a caseload of clients delivering personalised support to them. You will proactively engage with our clients and provide a hand so they can overcome barriers, move into independent living and sustain a tenancy. Our clients have a range of support needs that impact their experience of homelessness. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse. L&W is growing our research team and looking for a Head of Research to lead innovative, impactful research and evaluation projects across our focus areas of employment and skills.

This role will expand our capacity to win and deliver evaluation and qualitative research, while strengthening our methodological capability. We’re open-minded about what that means—but we want people who can go beyond standard process evaluations and basic qualitative approaches. Main Purpose

The Head of Research: Evaluation and Qualitative Methods is a new post for L&W – as we seek to deepen our capability and expand our capacity.

The post-holder will direct research projects across all of our areas of work, providing specific leadership and expertise in programme and system-level evaluations, and projects mobilising innovative or advanced qualitative methods (such as system mapping, co-design methods, ethnographic methods, creative methods and/or theory-based/realist evaluation).

They will work with the Head of Research: Employment and Better Work to develop the wider qualitative and evaluative skills of the wider research team.

About the role

St Giles is delivering an ambitious Voluntary Fundraising Strategy for 2026–2029, focused on diversifying income and growing voluntary fundraising by 15% across restricted and unrestricted streams. We are looking for an experienced and creative New Partnerships Manager to play a key role in achieving this ambition.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate corporate fundraiser with a strong track record of securing new income and managing five and six-figure partnerships. You will lead on developing our corporate partnerships portfolio, identifying and securing new partners while building long-term, strategically aligned relationships.

The role has responsibility for delivering £1m per year in corporate income and offers significant scope to shape and grow our partnerships approach.

Key responsibilities

Corporate partnerships & new business

• Contribute to and deliver a three-year corporate fundraising strategy with the ambition to raise £1 million annually
• Develop and implement a new business and communications strategy aligned to St Giles’ core pillars: Poverty, Justice, and Violence & Exploitation
• Identify and engage local and regional corporate partners across England and Wales
• Build and manage a strong corporate partnerships pipeline, securing new partnerships through proactive relationship-building and high-quality proposals
• Lead negotiations and manage senior-level stakeholder relationships

Partnership management & growth

• Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to onboard new partnerships, establishing clear objectives, targets and ways of working
• Oversee account management of new and existing partnerships where required, supporting retention and income growth
• Expand and develop our corporate engagement offer, including event sponsorship, payroll giving, gifts in kind, volunteering and other non-financial support
• Design and deliver engaging volunteering and challenge event opportunities to maximise corporate engagement

Collaboration, impact & finance

• Represent St Giles at corporate and partnership events, delivering compelling cause engagement opportunities
• Work with Service Managers and the Data and Impact teams to produce high-quality proposals, reporting and impact communications
• Collaborate with Finance to set, manage and review annual corporate income budgets
• Work with Service Managers to develop service delivery models and budgets to support funding applications

Purpose of role

In recent years OTR has seen a significant increase in demand for our youth mental health services and we now reach over 17,000 young people each year. We are seeking a Head of Finance to oversee our (circa) £3m annual budget and to ensure that our finance operation is efficient and effective. This role will lead OTR’s finance function and, as well as having responsibility for day-to-day financial processes, will be a key member of the organisation’s senior leadership team (SLT). The role will involve providing financial insight to the SLT and Board of Trustees to improve understanding and inform strategic decision making. Examples of this will include analysing the financial performance of different activities of the organisation and preparing budget and forecast information. 

We are looking for an individual with demonstrable experience in a finance management role which includes a strategic focus, preferably in the voluntary sector. The successful candidate will be a flexible and meticulous individual who is able to present complex information to a range of audiences. Equally important is a strong personal interest in and commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

Safe Haven Manager

Pay: Salary: £27,596.40 (£17.69 per hour) Plus Shift Allowance (5 hours per week: £4.80 per hour)

Job Description -

Andover Mind is one of the leading mental health providers in Hampshire. Our Safe Haven service supports those in mental health crisis in Basingstoke and mid Hampshire in our calm, safe and welcoming space. The service is covered 7 evenings a week from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, 365 days a year (including bank holidays) on a rolling 4 week rota, and is based at our Wellbeing facility in Basingstoke.

As our Safe Haven Manager you will play a vital role ensuring our successful service with delivering high-quality, effective, and compassionate support that continues to run efficiently, thus maintaining the level of care and quality of support currently being provided by Andover Mind.

Using your management experience within mental health, you will drive innovation to enhance our services and standards, managing daily operations, including staff rota and service flow. You will also be the driver for our partnership working with the other Safe Havens and NHS organisations.

Using your knowledge of working within the mental health sector and previous management experience you will manage your teams ensuring processes and policies are adhered to. You will build upon professional links and represent our service with external agencies and regulatory bodies, using your ability to communicate to promote Andover Mind.

The role also requires being part of an out of hours on call rota- this is paid additionally to the annual salary.

Events Delivery and Stewardship Intern
Salary: £24,785 per annum
Location: Norwich Office / Hybrid working*
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional charity that provides life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles taking our crew of critical care paramedics and doctors to the scene of the incident, to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care (PHEM).

About the role:

This internship provides practical experience in event management and participant stewardship, offering valuable skills for your future career.

We are looking for a passionate individual to help deliver our exciting portfolio of events. From skydives, treks, obstacle races and virtual events, the EAAA events team deliver a wide range of activity throughout the season.

This role with give you great exposure to all aspects of events delivery and engagement activity, essential to the participant’s experience and enjoyment, and the financial success of our events. You will undertake tasks including, but not limited to; the marketing of participant places, dealing with supporter enquiries, development of materials and collateral, event logistics and on event day duties.

You will work closely with the other members of the Events and wider Fundraising team, with the opportunity to see events from the planning stages through to delivery, and post event de-brief and evaluation.

About you:

You will be motivated and focused, looking to gain experience in the Events Sector.

You may have recently studied event management at college or be looking to utilise your transferable skills to move into the sector. This internship will offer you exposure and practical experience in the delivery of events and stewardship of participants, to the highest of standards.

With excellent organisation and communication skills, you will have an ability to manage a varied and busy workload.

You will be able to drive and due to the nature of the events, you will need to have a flexible approach to work so you can support out of hours work, including weekends. Time off in lieu is offered for additional hours worked.

You will live within our region, have a good knowledge of the area, believe in the work of East Anglian Air Ambulance, taken part in some events yourself and not be afraid of occasional wet weather – although it is (almost) always sunny at our events!

*This role will be worked a minimum of 3 days a week from our Norwich office which may increase in busier periods and up to 2 days a week from home. The exact days worked in the office will be agreed with the successful candidate, but you must live within a commutable distance of our Norwich office.
