At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect.

We’re now looking for a Cubs and Community coordinator to help keep our swim sessions running smoothly and our community growing well.

This role is about people, organisation and care. You’ll coordinate weekly swim sessions, support swimmers throughout their journey with WeSwim, and make sure the behind-the-scenes admin is handled accurately and calmly. You’ll play an important role in welcoming new swimmers into our community,  building relationships with other third-sector organisations, managing waiting lists, and helping ensure our clubs remain active and well-attended.

You’ll get to know our swimmers as individuals ensuring that we can continue to create an experience where people feel supported and welcomed. No two weeks will look the same, but every week will be full of purpose.

This is a part-time role (15 hours per week), ideal for someone who is highly organised, people-focused and motivated by inclusion, community and impact. You don’t need to be a swimmer but you do need to care creating inclusive spaces where people can thrive.

Every session you support helps people who struggle to access mainstream swim sessions to exercise,to feel more confident and benefit from the WeSwim community. 

Key Responsibilities:

Club Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate weekly swim sessions, including booking swimmers and liaising with pool partners.

• Act as the main day-to-day contact for clubs, supporting swimmers, volunteers and committee members.

• Spot and resolve operational issues, escalating where needed.

Swimmer Membership & Support

• Manage swimmer onboarding from application to first session.

• Monitor swimmer attendance and respond to queries or concerns.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date swimmer information.

Swimmer Recruitment & Outreach

• Build relationships with third-sector organisations to support referrals and recruit new swimmers.

• Undertake outreach to maintain a healthy flow of new swimmers into WeSwim clubs.

• Manage swimmer waiting lists and support smooth onboarding into sessions.

Administration, Data & Monitoring

• Maintain club records, including membership data and attendance logs.

• Monitor attendance and impact data to support reporting.

• Use systems and tools to keep club administration efficient and organised.

Communication & Relationships

• Communicate clearly with swimmers, volunteers and committees via email, WhatsApp and other channels.

• Liaise with external partners such as pool staff and local stakeholders.

We’re hiring a Fundraising Officer at WeSwim, this is a relationship-led fundraising role with real ownership and influence.

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. We’re now looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead our community fundraising and individual giving efforts and help shape the future of WeSwim’s income.

We already have a strong community of swimmers and volunteers who care deeply about WeSwim. In this role, you’ll work with the community to create more fundraising activitym supporting our members to fundraise in ways that feel achievable, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll be the main point of contact for community fundraisers, creating simple tools and resources that help people feel confident getting involved.

You’ll also work closely with the CEO to develop and grow WeSwim’s individual giving and monthly donations, helping to transform our mix of income over time. 

You’ll build thoughtful supporter journeys, create simple and engaging fundraising resources, and help deliver campaigns that clearly show the impact of WeSwim’s work. No two weeks will look the same, but every week will be purposeful and people-centred.

This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) with a high level of trust, autonomy and collaboration. It’s ideal for a proactive fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, thinking creatively and taking ownership. Key Responsibilities:

Community Fundraising

• Inspire & support individuals and groups to run their own fundraising activities (e.g., bake sales, swim challenges, quiz nights).
• Act as the primary contact for all community fundraisers, including swimmers, volunteers, supporters, and local groups.
• Develop accessible fundraising resources and an annual plan of community fundraising activities, moments and campaigns.

Individual Giving & Monthly Donations

• Lead the development and growth of WeSwim’s monthly giving programme.
• Deliver a high-quality stewardship programme for individual donors including welcome and impact communications.
• Use data to track donor retention, upgrade opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Campaigns, Communications & Community Engagement

• Plan and deliver key fundraising campaigns (e.g. Christmas Appeal, Giving Tuesday).
• Create engaging fundraising content and stories across email, social media, the website and fundraising platforms.
• Build relationships with community groups and partners, representing WeSwim at relevant events.

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate fundraising records and supporter data.

About the role

Our moderators manage Facebook groups of up to 18,000 virtual challenge participants. You will be working with some of the biggest names in the sector, supporting them to raise five and six figure sums. 

This role is perfect for skilled fundraisers who can provide excellent supporter care, and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm and adhere to our sub-three hour response time. 

As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you would be responsible for:

• Becoming the voice of the cause you are representing, adhering to their brand guidelines at all times

• Identifying, escalating and signposting any safeguarding issues

• Managing your own time and work on own initiative

• Responding to all post and queries in under three hours

• Maximising registration conversions and fundraiser activation 

• Providing fundraising support to challenge participants

• Ensuring that the group is a safe, constructive and positive environment

• Going above and beyond at all times to provide participants with an incredible experience

Our moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday-Sunday. Different challenges have different requirements and whilst you need to be on hand to monitor the group during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional fundraising experience. They will understand the importance of stewarding relationships and be committed to always acting in the best possible way for the charities we work so hard to support.

Full training will be provided alongside regular one to one and monthly team meetings. 

On a day to day basis you will:

About This Job

You will provide effective administrative support to the Office Manager and the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the two charities, the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) and the Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA). Role Summary:

Whilst Futures For All has been fundraising for all of our 15 year history, we are now at a point in which increasing voluntary income and diversifying our charitable income streams is vital to the charity’s long-term success.  The new role of Director of Fundraising took up management of the team in 2024, and is now in the process of building a bigger and brighter team to support increasing income over the next few years.

The Senior Fundraising Manager – Trust and Philanthropy will play a pivotal role in raising funds from grantmaking trusts and HNWIs (philanthropists) towards the work of Futures For All.  They will go beyond simply writing applications and reports, to build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards maximising their grant to the charity.  They will work closely with colleagues, volunteers and leadership to ensure each prospect/donor is engaged appropriately and accurate information is provided in a timely manner.  They will also support the overall function of the Fundraising team, supporting other forms of fundraising. They will build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards making major donations. 

Futures for All (formerly Speakers for Schools) seeks an individual with experience working with high-value supporters and strong relationship-building skills to become our new Senior Fundraising Manager – Trust and Philanthropy.  With an exceptional network of senior stakeholders and volunteers, the potential for growth in fundraising is great.

• Data and reporting – ensure information on donors is correctly recorded in Salesforce, and supporting KPI and other reports created by the Director of Fundraising.

About this role 

This role is crucial for us, our members and their communities, especially at the current time, with our need to seize on the opportunities of rail reform and devolution, promote wider use of sustainable transport, and bring communities together. You will spearhead our external affairs strategy and plans, building political relationships, influencing decision-making and raising awareness of community rail and its insights, while ensuring effective communications with our members and helping them to have a voice locally and regionally. You’ll be striving to put community rail at the forefront of a shift towards more inclusive and sustainable mobility.

• Lead the review, development and delivery of our communications, policy and insights strategy, working to position the community rail movement effectively, use its insights to influence policy change, and ensure our members are well-informed and have a voice;

The Institute of Physics (IOP), in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Science Made Simple (SMS), is seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator for a fixed period until 31st March 2028 to support delivery of the Boosting Science Education in Wales initiative, funded by the Welsh Government’s Curriculum for Wales Grant.

This three-year project aims to address the shortage of physics and chemistry practitioners in Wales by improving science teaching and learning outcomes across primary and secondary schools.
