Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity supporting people affected by homelessness and addiction to rebuild their lives. We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Recovery Community & Therapeutic Service Manager to lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of our Recovery Community and Therapeutic Service.

This is a part-time role working 28 hours per week and is fully onsite at our Shoreditch hub. There is some flexibility around how the hours are worked across the week, although ideally Friday will be included as a working day.

This is a key leadership role bringing together therapeutic support, aftercare, peer-led activity, volunteering, training and community engagement to create an integrated recovery journey. You will ensure that people accessing SCT's services have opportunities to strengthen their recovery capital, build supportive networks and progress towards greater independence and wellbeing.

Working closely with our Director of Services and colleagues across SCT, you will:

• Lead the ongoing development of SCT's Recovery Community and therapeutic offer.
• Oversee recovery-focused programmes, therapeutic interventions, aftercare and peer-led activities.
• Create meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience to shape services, volunteer, mentor and support others.
• Lead and develop staff, volunteers, peer mentors and facilitators, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

We are looking for someone with significant experience of leading services within recovery, social care, community development, housing, health or a related field. You will have a strong understanding of addiction recovery and the challenges experienced by people affected by homelessness and multiple disadvantage.

As the foundation embeds a newly focused and proactive approach to grant-making, it is seeking an experienced Interim Grants Manager to provide additional capacity and continuity across a nine-month assignment.

The Role
As Interim Grants Manager, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 60 grants, maintaining strong relationships with funded organisations and ensuring effective monitoring and stewardship throughout the grant lifecycle. Key responsibilities will include assessing narrative and financial reports, maintaining accurate CRM records, contributing to board reporting, and capturing learning from funded projects.

Working closely with the Deputy Director and wider grants team, you will support the development and assessment of targeted funding programmes and help refine the foundation's grant-making practice. You will engage with grantees, applicants, trustees and sector partners, with occasional travel to visit funded organisations and attend events.

The Person
You will bring at least three years' experience in grant management within the charitable or philanthropic sector, with a strong understanding of grant monitoring, assessment and relationship management. Highly organised and proactive, you will be confident managing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Confident working with financial and narrative information, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, together with experience of using databases and Microsoft Office applications. Experience of CRM systems is essential, and knowledge of Sage CRM would be advantageous.

Complex Needs Caseworker

Are you a creative person looking for role where you can make a lasting difference to people experiencing homelessness in Reading?

We are looking for 2 Complex Caseworkers to join our Rough Sleeper team in Reading who provide intensive support to people with complex needs experiencing homelessness. This passionate team offer person centred support service to help people who require a specialist intervention approach to support them through the transition from rough sleeping into sustainable accommodation.

We currently have 2 opportunities available:

• Supporting women experiencing homelessness, including those affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG).
• Supporting a mixed cohort of clients experiencing homelessness with complex needs.

In both roles you will work collaboratively with the Rough Sleeper Navigator Coordinator and Outreach team as well as relevant partner agencies in Reading to deliver sustainable outcomes to clients.

• You will advocate for clients who have been some of the most marginalised in the local area, to make a real and long lasting difference to their recovery.
• You will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of clients and providing day to day support to clients with their transition from the streets into accommodation and independent living with a strong focus on tenancy sustainment and rescue.
• This includes working with people on health, housing, employment and training support. You will be given support to build strong relationships with a range of other services to find creative and sustainable routes to recovery for clients.
• You’re typical working hours will be Monday – Friday, with flexibility to work outside of these hours at times to support the team through SWEP.

About the role

This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. About the role:

 In this role, the Digital Communications Officer will help AMOSSHE communicate clearly, consistently and creatively with its members, partners and sector stakeholders. The role will plan and deliver engaging content across digital channels primarily through the integrated management system (including website/CMS, CRM and event management), our weekly newsletter, email campaigns and social media. Accreditation Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Accreditation Learning and Development Manager to lead the design, delivery and development of training across our accreditation programmes, including the Green Flag Award, Green Flag Community Award, Green Heritage Site Accreditation and Coastal Awards.

In this key role, you will manage training for more than 1,000 volunteer judges and assessors, ensuring consistent standards are maintained across UK and international schemes. You will oversee the Green Flag Award Academy, support the development of sector skills, update guidance and training resources, and work closely with managing organisations, partners and suppliers to deliver effective learning interventions.

You will be responsible for recruiting, inducting and supporting judges and assessors, monitoring judging standards and judges’ reports, managing training through an online portal, and supporting the implementation and monitoring of international sub-contracts. The role includes managing the Skills Development Co-ordinator and working with trainers, sub-contract holders and stakeholders to ensure high-quality training delivery.

About you

You will bring strong experience in training strategy, needs analysis, delivery and monitoring and evaluation. You will be confident developing learning materials, managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and working with partners, suppliers and accreditation bodies. Excellent communication, organisation and customer relationship skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage budgets and resolve sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
