This is a newly created administrative role to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in over 1,100 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Workforce-Training and Innovation team, which provides project management across the organisation and training for constituents across the 27 Londonwide Boroughs that make up Londonwide LMCs. The team also coordinates a range of supportive services for practices that are delivered through managed relationships with associates.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Workforce-Training and Innovation and work within the WTI team, playing an integral part in linking our work across the directorates at Londonwide LMCs and externally with our practices and constituents.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Workforce-Training and Innovation team, enabling the smooth running of projects, scheduling meetings and supporting events. It would be helpful if candidates have excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience in:
- Owning the administrative tasks required to enable smooth team operations.
- Attending team meetings and other project meetings, providing administrative support, and ensuring an accurate record of the meeting and actions is made.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent post, but applicants seeking part-time/job-share roles are welcome.
As an organisation, we work flexibly, and regular home working is supported. The post is contractually based at our offices located in central London near Euston, where we host quarterly connect days for all staff. Whilst regular home working is supported, some travel or office attendance may be required to attend pre-planned meetings or events.
The salary for the role will be £25,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,000, making total remuneration £29,000). We are looking for Volunteer Coordinator to be responsible for overseeing our volunteer programme
Key duties will include;
Recruiting volunteers through a variety of job boards, community pages and platforms.
Arranging and carrying out interviews with potential volunteers to assess the value and contribution they could offer the charity.

The post holder will coordinate and provide information-based sexual health outreach services, testing and brief HIV prevention interventions in commercial venues and at events across London. Interventions will predominantly target people who may be at higher risk of HIV and STI acquisition, particularly amongst higher prevalence communities such as Gay, Bisexual and Men who have Sex with Men (GBMSM), Black African and Trans communities. This role will involve working within sex on premises venues frequented by GBMSM and would therefore be best suited to someone from that community. Programme
The post holder will be a member of the GMI Partnership team, based at METRO, working closely with their counterparts at other GMI partner agencies (Positive East and Spectra). Head to Toe, the charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), has been awarded a 3-year grant to support patients receiving end of life care. We’re looking for a proactive Community Engagement Officer with an eye for detail and a can-do attitude who is willing to learn, grow and take ownership of this newly created and unique role.

At Versus Arthritis, one of our key strategic goals is to ensure that we are a great place to work and volunteer, and that our people have the skills and resources they need to do the best in their roles. In the Organisational Development team, we have just launched our learning and development framework to align to this goal and create a learning culture for staff and volunteers which is inclusive, flexible and data driven.
Following a learning needs analysis last year, we are excited to be launching several new learning initiatives this year to support our people to do the best in their roles, including diversity and inclusion programmes, mental health awareness and leadership and management skills. The Training Administrator plays a vital part in helping to deliver our goals, ensuring that we have an effective and sustainable learning and development programme.
About the role
The role will be central to coordinating our learning and development journey for staff and volunteers. You will be passionate about creating a learning culture and be the first point of contact for learners, organise online and in-person training workshops, and manage our Learning Management System. You will work closely with the People and Culture teams to build an efficient learning and development service and ensure that learners have access to what they need to engage in our learning and development offer. You will also collate evaluation data and create quarterly reports on our training programmes to share our learnings and successes.
About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, succinct reports and data.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and with excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Experience of supporting learning and development programmes and managing Learner Management Systems such as Moodle.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Excel at a basic or intermediate level
- Able to work effectively within a team, supporting multiple stakeholders including staff, volunteers and managers
- A flexible, solutions-focused and creative approach.
*As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings. The role:
You will provide administrative support to the medical team and support the efficient running of the Medical Office. This will involve administrative tasks including staff annual leave, maintaining the electronic filing system plus diary and meeting management.
The role provides an opportunity to research, interpret and summarise reports and documents both from internal sources and external sources such as the internet.
Another important aspect is the co-ordination and processing of ad hoc visitors, student doctors and overseas doctor placements to the Hospice, requiring liaison with multiple Hospice departments and external clinical partners.
About you:
You’ll have a record of experience in an administrative role or as a personal / executive assistant, aswell as experience of providing support across a department in a healthcare setting.
