About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working as an Advocate, providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

About the role
We are now seeking two experienced and dynamic Advice Hub Caseworkers to join our highly successful Advice Hub Service and team.
As an Advice Hub Caseworker you will provide one-off, practical support and advice for women and girls who have experienced any form of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). You will provide one-off advice, information and support over the phone and via web-chat linking survivors with support that is right for them. You will also provide one-off consultation and advice to professionals working with cases involving VAWG.
The Advice team work from a woman-centred, trauma informed and survivor led integrated approach, ensuring individualised support that is rooted in empowerment and best practice. The work is delivered through a commitment to an anti-oppressive, feminist framework that strives to address additional barriers and meet the diverse range of survivors needs, understanding the specific support needs of each survivor. We are passionate about social justice and being part of dismantling systems and structures which oppress survivors. These posts play a key part in helping us identify current issues affecting survivors in London and opportunities for change.
About you
The ideal candidates will be experienced in providing support, have an excellent insight into the needs of survivors of VAWG and be innovative. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading specialist VAWG organisations within the women’s sector, and to play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of a service which improves responses, access and support to survivors in London. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. Reporting directly to the Connections Team Leader.
Your role will require you to provide one-to-one support for service users, setting personal goals with the service user for recovery, developing ways with the service user on how to keep well and identifying their own personal sources of support. You will work with the Peer Support Team and draw upon lived experience to assist service users to move forward positively. Acting as a specialist resource to provide a unique perspective to service users.
You will hold a small caseload to allow regular sessions to be held with the service user, maintaining confidential records, utilising VoiceAbility and NHS electronic records system. Planning, implementation of and review of care packages, including parts of the individual care plan.

We're looking for two proactive & passionate individuals to join our Housing Advice team to deliver an effective housing advice and advocacy service to young people accessing our day centre.
You will be working within our Housing team to deliver an effective advice service for young people. You should be experienced in delivering housing advice within a youth and community or other relevant setting, of supporting clients with multiple and complex needs, and have a proven track record of referring and progressing vulnerable people into suitable accommodation. There are two roles available.
Key details
- Contract type and hours: Permanent. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Some work over the Christmas period will also be required.
- Salary: The starting salary for the role is £31,200. The salary scale is £31,200 to £34,736 pro rata.

Key objectives:

Main tasks and responsibilities
Young people's services
Delivering a housing advice service to young people with multiple needs. This will include:
- Working to ensure young people receive a high-quality service from the point of registration to move-on. Taking a hands-on approach to dealing with complex or difficult cases.
- Carrying out thorough needs assessments with young people accessing the service in order to refer young people into appropriate accommodation and to external specialist services.
- Providing young people with expert advice and guidance relating to their housing situation. Monitoring and evaluating young people’s progress.
- Engaging other relevant external partners, able to provide accommodation and other move on opportunities to young people.
- Referring young people to other internal New Horizon Youth Centre teams in order to support their progression, including Health, Youth Work, Outreach and Jobs, Education and Training.
- Providing advocacy and referring young people to a wide range of specialist external advice services including around advocacy, substance misuse, mental health, immigration, counselling, financial/debt advice, and legal services.
- Attending regular briefings, team meetings, reflective practice and clinical supervision, both with NHYC and project partners. Ensuring that Health and Safety or safeguarding issues are addressed at all times.
Sharing best practice
To proactively share best practice with internal and external stakeholders in order to maximise the impact of the work of NHYC. This will include:
- Identifying and acting to maximise NHYC’s profile by seeking out and responding to opportunities with specialists and agencies who might offer resources, funding, or individual services relevant to client needs.
- Promoting and representing NHYC at relevant forums, meetings and events.
Information management
To produce and maintain accurate and useful information in a range of formats in order to promote effective service delivery and evaluation. This will include:
- Recording all contacts with clients appropriately and maintaining all relevant files and recording systems.
- Producing written reports in a variety of formats to meet the requirements of NHYC, external service providers and funders, e.g., project reviews and assessment reports.
- Inputting and extracting information from client monitoring systems and other accounting and database systems. Utilising other relevant software for the production of reports.
- Being self-servicing in day-to-day administration, and following team and NHYC’s administrative procedures.
Reviewing personal and professional development needs
To be proactive in reviewing and evaluating own performance and identifying and acting upon areas for improvement. This will include:
- Reviewing and evaluating own performance to identify strengths and areas for development. Identifying own learning/development needs and opportunities.
- Undertaking development and training opportunities and being responsible for obtaining maximum benefit through review, reflection and practice.

Lead work on providing an information service for Healthwatch Camden, helping to ensure that it is readily accessible and can effectively direct people to the support or advice they need to access services or make choices about services.

Conditions of service (summary)
Healthwatch Camden is committed to promoting equality in all aspects of

Overview of the role – Programmes Administrator:
LST is seeking a detailed-orientated and highly organised professional with a real willingness to support people for the role of Programmes Administrator
This is a crucial role where the postholder will join a small and friendly Registry team supporting Faculty and students across the organisation.
The responsibilities of the post-holder are designed and divided into two main areas: Registry activities and Programmes activities. The post-holder will provide efficient and effective delivery to the Theology and Worship Programmes and Theology and Counselling Programme, while continuing to assist with Registry Office functions.
Key Tasks:
The following key tasks are indicative of the role, rather than exhaustive, and tasks may be amended in response to changing requirements or in line with the skills and experience of the post-holder:
- Supporting the Music Programme Leader with music events, concerts and recitals
- Supporting the Counselling Programme Leader with the organisation of residential weekends and exams
- Managing the Attendance Register
- Registry tasks including marking administration, Assessment Board preparation and programme options/module feedback/projects
- Using the Student Information System eg data-inputting
- Using the Virtual Learning Environment eg enrolling students and registering updates
Person specification:
The successful candidate will be naturally detail-orientated, highly organised and efficient. As the postholder will be joining a small and friendly team, a natural warmth and willingness to be a good team-player is important. This is a professional support service role so an understanding of customer service and a real willingness to help people is essential.
London School of Theology is a Christian college and as such it is a requirement of the Person Specification that the postholder must be in sympathy with the Christian ethos, aims and objectives of the School.

his role delivers one to one case work including ongoing support to resolve both immediate and crisis situations, in the main relating to welfare benefits, referring to appropriate support agencies and other ICCM services promoting a multiagency approach. About the role
The Philanthropy Administrator sits within the Philanthropy Team, who work with supporters who are giving anything from £5,000 upwards to Crisis. They can be individuals or couples and often support many different areas of our work, both financially and non-financially. As a team we are a friendly, innovative, creative, collaborative team and, whilst we have an ambitious income target this year, we are bold in our ambitions for growth. We are always up for trying new things, taking a few risks and learning from when things fail. Our ultimate goal is to enable our donors support to be as impactful as possible and inspire their loyalty and longevity of support.
The Philanthropy Administrator role is very varied, and there will be opportunities to get involved in lots of areas of the team's work. Whilst the role is predominantly focussed on providing administrative support to the team, mainly around monitoring donations and managing external inboxes and communicating with supporters through this. The successful candidate will also manage our prospect pipeline, lead on the creation of our monthly donor newsletter, support in the planning of high value events, appeals and donor meetings, develop the Philanthropy webpage and much much more.

YMCA DownsLink Group has been delivering counselling and therapeutic services to children, young people and families through our YMCA Dialogue Service in community and school settings for over 25 years.
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our innovative and skilled counselling service to lead operational plans in line with organisation strategy and local strategic priorities, designing and developing a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of children and young people aged 11 to 18 years. You will manage and review performance against contract KPI’s and support the engagement of service users in co-production and participatory activities.
In delivering the role, you will work closely with the Clinical Lead, Team Managers and Head of Service, you will manage the continuing growth and development of our community-based children and young people’s counselling and wellbeing services in West Sussex. You will hold operational responsibility for the West Sussex Single Point of Access (SPOA) partnership, working alongside SPFT and the Youth Emotional Support service management and delivery teams to provide an effective referral pathway to support services for children and young people in West Sussex.
In addition, you will manage the development and operational delivery of services, providing line management support to the team, and be accountable for the financial performance of the service through the setting, administering and review of budgets.
