As Operations Volunteering Experience Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that volunteers in operations-based roles feel valued, prepared, and supported throughout their journey. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll coordinate recruitment, training, and engagement efforts that enhance the volunteer experience and contribute to the smooth running of essential services.

By ensuring volunteers receive comprehensive training and induction, you’ll help them build confidence in their roles. You’ll coordinate face-to-face and virtual induction sessions, facilitate ongoing training opportunities, and provide regular communication to ensure volunteers remain engaged and informed.
A key part of your role will involve monitoring and evaluating the volunteer journey, gathering feedback and insights to improve processes and experiences. You’ll manage volunteer data and compliance, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Additionally, you’ll support the recognition and celebration of volunteers, helping to coordinate award events and initiatives that highlight the incredible contributions of those who give their time.
To excel in this role, you’ll have experience managing and supporting volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience. You’ll be confident in advising on best practices and processes, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams. You'll need to be adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team, using technology to stay connected.
Experience with volunteer management systems, CRM databases (such as Salesforce), and Microsoft Office will be beneficial. A strong understanding of GDPR, safeguarding principles, and best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion is also essential.
Strong organisation and communication skills will be key, as well as the ability to problem-solve and handle enquiries efficiently. Whether facilitating training, providing advice, or coordinating new volunteer initiatives, you’ll bring a solutions-focused approach to ensure volunteers feel engaged, valued, and equipped for success.

This is a new role within the Bereavement Support Service proactively engaging bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.
The aim of this post is to provide consistent, high-quality emotional support via digital channels to bereaved families who seek support from the Lullaby Trust.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Proactively engage bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.
· Assist with the setting up of new digital channels to be used by the Lullaby Trust to answer and respond to bereaved families.
· To be the primary contact for the bereavement support digital services including WhatsApp, text, webchat and other social media channels.
· Proactively engage with bereaved families through social media and other online platforms.
· Ensure any safeguarding concerns are actioned in accordance with the organisations Safeguarding policy.
· Send materials to bereaved contacts, including bereavement packs and follow up emails and ensure all documents and databases are updated with each contact in line with the department guidelines, including Raiser’s Edge, Excel databases.
· Cover and answer the bereavement support helpline and online enquiries responding within the set guidelines and KPIs for the department.
· Ensure any messages on Bereavement Support Facebook Groups are monitored and advice is given via befrienders where appropriate.

2. Deliver and run live bereavement themed sessions on social media
· Run monthly live sessions on social media on bereavement topics/themes, responding to comments and messages during and after the sessions, ensuring anyone seeking ongoing support is responded to and referred to relevant services .
· Work with the Engagement Team to promote live session.
· Facilitate monthly remembrance sessions.
3. Ensure the bereavement support services are promoted to those bereaved and to professionals working with bereaved families

· Keep up to date with the bereavement support world including joining National Bereavement Alliance, Child Bereavement Network and research around grief and bereavement.

We are looking for an Engagement Manager (East of England) to join us on a fixed term contract, for 12-months, to cover maternity leave.
About the role
The key purpose of the Engagement Manager role is to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the East of England and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region. We currently have two Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to care-take and develop both SLCs, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success. You will also be managing and developing stakeholder relationships across all the areas in which we work including transport and health sectors, as well with local authorities and arts and culture venues in the region.
About you
You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience or experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced volunteer manager, you will engage and lead Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.
You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a team of other Engagement Managers across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with.

We are looking for an experienced IDVA to join our dynamic team in Tower Hamlets, working with people who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As an IDVA you are responsible for carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing support and intervention to victim/survivors of domestic violence identified at Poplar jobcentre. In addition to this you will build relationships with, and provide advice, guidance and training to external professionals.
About You
You will need a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in an IDVA or similar position with this or a similar client group.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects, including HNWIs, trusts and foundations, and senior figures such as Ambassadors, Trustees, and the President
- Identify and cultivate new supporters through targeted prospecting, research, events, and networks

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Children and Young People’s Service. The team enables and empowers children, young people and families to thrive, by providing a variety of vibrant and impactful services, activities and events.
This role would suit someone who enjoys and is skilled at supporting families to overcome barriers they face as a result of having a disabled child, including providing one to one support, practical assistance, and group workshops. Candidates should have experience of working with children, young people and families in a support role.
Key responsibilities
· Ensure parent carers have someone to work alongside them to help to overcome barriers they are facing as a family as a result of their child/’s sensory impairment.
· Provide practical assistance (such as letter writing and attending meetings with a parent carer) where this is needed. This will include assisting with the Education & Health Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure it accurately reflects their needs.
· To assess and identify when the needs of the children and their families are not being met and work with parents, other professionals, and organisations as appropriate to address the issues with the aim of ensuring that the children have the opportunities and environments that will enable them to reach their potential and achieve their aspirations.
· Reduce loneliness and social isolation for parent carers by both connecting them with wider parent carer support services, and by organising and facilitating opportunities for them to come together, such as through drop-in events at community café’s and parent led support groups.
· Empower and enable parent carers to have the knowledge, skills, confidence, and support they need to advocate for their child/children through organising group training workshops and development around specific topics, creating and sharing resources that will help, and through our Power to The Parents event.
· To support children and young people through transition from children’s services into adult services, engaging with SEND services and adult services where appropriate.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to work with a new partnership of Unified Community Assistance Network Enfield. UCAN Enfield is a consortium led by Age UK Enfield, with delivery partners from One to One, Mind in Enfield and Barnet, Wellbeing Connect, Bread n Butter, Cooking Champions and Middlesex Association for Blind.
We offer a range of services and activities to promote health and wellbeing and independence to residents aged 18+ who may be affected by sensory loss, autism, mental health conditions, long-term health conditions, and people whose voices are seldom heard.
Our specialist programme has been designed to be inclusive for all, and includes healthy eating and nutrition, cookery workshops, exercise and wellbeing groups. We also deliver peer support groups and lead the Adult Autism Hub.
Duties will include:
- Working alongside UCAN Enfield partners to co-produce and support the delivery of a programme of health and wellbeing sessions in the community that meet a range of needs from general population to specific conditions
- Attending community activities to meet new potential referrals and engage with participants.
- Managing shared UCAN Enfield Email inbox on a rota basis and loading new referrals onto Charity Log.
- Using Charity Log (CRM) to access and manage referrals by triaging and determining their level of need 1,2,3* and allocating the appropriate support which may include referring to other UCAN Enfield partners or referring to other partners.
- To manage a case load of 25 new referrals per month.
- To work alongside UCAN partners to ensure that referral pathways are established and maintained with GP’s, Enfield community organisations, VCS, Social Care, Health Teams, pharmacies.
The successful candidate should have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social care, housing and VCS Services.

The Head of Services is a senior role that plays a vital part in shaping and delivering MSDP’s mission. You will help lead the day-to-day delivery of services, ensuring they are effective, inclusive, and high-quality. Working alongside Service Managers, you’ll coordinate projects and contracts to meet the needs of the people and communities MSDP serves. You’ll help ensure services are delivered with integrity, impact, and compassion.
Key responsibilities
- Operational Leadership and Service Delivery: Oversee the effective day-to-day running of services, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, confidentiality, and accurate record-keeping.
