Role Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellbeing of carers in the Harrogate & Selby Districts, promoting key health messages to carers through a variety of mediums including one to one, group settings and social media. You will facilitate sessions focussed on supporting carers to access resources to maintain their own health and wellbeing and enable them to sustain their caring role, as well as providing some personalised support to individual carers conducting wellbeing reviews to identify required actions. You will liaise and collaborate with key health and social care professionals and other organisations to deliver the service, and advocate on behalf of unpaid carers. Your work aligns with local safeguarding procedures, promoting wellbeing and positive change for carers and national health messaging.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with unpaid carers and an understanding of the challenges they face in looking after their own health and wellbeing.
- Previous experience providing individual and group support to adults.
- Ability to communicate key health messages through different mediums
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with carers on a personal level and collaborate as a team member.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs and demands of the role.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and rights of carers.
- Competent user of IT, email, Microsoft Office.
- Able to travel around Harrogate and Selby district.

The ideal candidate will have a GCSE-level education with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and be willing to complete BEH Peer Worker Training and a Wellness at Work plan. A Health or Social Care qualification and ongoing training commitment are desirable. They will have lived experience of mental health challenges and secondary care use, along with supportive life experiences that inspire others. Experience in support roles, teamwork, and knowledge of recovery tools and principles is essential, as is an awareness of issues like stigma and discrimination. Desirable experience includes psychiatric hospital admission, mentoring, working in public or voluntary sectors, cross-organisational collaboration, and knowledge of local mental health services. Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills are required, along with basic IT proficiency; skills in Microsoft Office or additional languages are a plus. The candidate should be motivated, reliable, flexible, and resilient, with clear professional boundaries.

About you

About the role
The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

In this role, the individual will work as part of a multidisciplinary NHS team—alongside clinicians, social workers, and community partners—to support adults with moderate to severe mental illness. They will hold a caseload of service users, acting as a key point of contact and contributing to care planning, progress monitoring, and discharge support, using the RiO clinical records system. Working collaboratively with service users, they will co-develop person-centred recovery plans that prioritise social goals and community integration. Building strong therapeutic relationships using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches, they will support individuals in achieving personal recovery goals. The role includes helping service users access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, and psychoeducational groups. The individual will promote recovery-focused, jargon-free communication, advocate for co-production and integrated care, and liaise with both statutory and voluntary sector organisations to support effective service navigation. They will attend clinical meetings and community events, representing both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team, while maintaining accurate, timely documentation of all support activities and risk assessments. Emmaus UK is looking for a new Regional Communications Officer to directly support Emmaus communities in the North East and Yorkshire.
About the role
Our team of Regional Communications Officers support Emmaus communities and groups to increase their profile and engage supporters. You will work closely with up to four Emmaus charities to identify their communications needs, plan and deliver work to help achieve their goals.
You will have excellent skills and knowledge in communications, public relations and marketing with at least two years’ experience working in a busy and varied communications role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.
Within this hybrid role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are located, maintaining ongoing positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. This role will suit someone located in Yorkshire or the North East as regular travel (usually at least one community visit per week) will be required to South Shields, Leeds and Hull.

This well-known charity plays a vital role in funding cancer research, providing support for patients across a range of programme areas as well as leading in campaigning and advocacy work.
The Finance Business Partner role will support the organisation in the provision of accurate management information to key budget-holder groups for the charity. Key duties will be as follows:
- Prepare reporting and key financial information, including forecasts and budgets, for key directorates

- Work closely with non-finance budget-holders to advise on in-year budgets and re-forecasts

Refugee Week is seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to lead the development and delivery of our social media presence in the lead-up to and during Refugee Week 2026. Working closely with the Refugee Week team, you will help shape and tell the story of Refugee Week over the year - inspiring people to take part, building our digital profile, and growing our online community.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organised, and confident in digital storytelling, with an interest in social change, arts and culture, and refugee rights.

Social Media Strategy & Management

Through our Peer hub based in North Wales you will train people with lived experience, who have faced disadvantage, to become professional advice, guidance and support workers, undertaking assured and accredited advice and guidance training, work placements whilst also receiving professional employment coaching and support.
About this vital role
Through our hub based in Newport we will train women with lived-experience, who have faced disadvantage, to become professional advice, guidance and support workers, undertaking assured and accredited advice and guidance training, work placements whilst also receiving professional employment coaching and support.
Our successful candidate will deliver group and 1 to 1 training sessions at our hub (with occasional delivery at Eastwood Park Women’s prison) and assess the level 3 in Advice and Guidance City and Guilds qualifications to women on work placements across Gwent. You will support learners to complete their training and qualifications and develop individual learning plans whilst also working proactively with the hub team to ensure learners progress and achieve their goals.

- A proven track record of providing high quality training to diverse groups of learners.
- Knowledge and understanding of assessing vocational qualifications.
- Support training delivery in Eastwood Park Prison when needed.
- Work in accordance with national and St Giles Trust quality assurance standards.

Position Overview
The Team Administrator is responsible for providing efficient, organised and proactive administrative support to the CEO, as well as supporting the wider team across a number of administrative areas.
The role holder will also liaise with partners, Chapters, grant funders and a range of other interested partners and collaborators, on behalf of the CEO, working seamlessly with their job share partner.
Main Duties
Executive Assistant support
Work closely with the CEO and job share partner to provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, ensuring the smooth running of CEO’s office and that secretarial and other administrative work is produced to a high standard and within set deadlines.
● Manage the CEO’s diary, balancing competing priorities and understanding the need for the degree of flexibility that is required within a busy schedule
● Arrange meetings and make travel arrangements, drawing up itineraries, arranging accommodation and liaising with host organisations within the UK and overseas as necessary.
● Prepare, organise, and manage documents and presentations for meetings, ensuring timely distribution and follow-up
● Act as a key liaison between the CEO and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
● Handle sensitive information and deal with complex requests and enquiries, exercising discretion and sound judgement
● Organise and coordinate internal and external meetings (in-person and online) involving the CEO and support her attendance at external meetings, events, and conferences in the UK and abroad (including travel and accommodation arrangements), ensuring the CEO’s schedule runs efficiently
● Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.

The role holder will be required to work on-site, the working pattern is to be agreed with the hiring managers but currently expected to be Wednesday to Friday weekly.
Given the global nature of the Initiative, the role may require some flexibility on working hours outside of standard office hours, although it is not anticipated that the role holder will need to travel outside of the UK.

The high-leverage legal approach to achieve tangible progress on the climate and biodiversity crisis was immediately appealing. Since joining ClientEarth as a Philanthropy Officer, Sebastien has progressed to the Philanthropy Manager position where he supports and oversees two members of the Philanthropy Team. He has found that working in the Philanthropy Team has been a fantastic way to support ClientEarth's mission while learning about the world and developing skills in relationship management and communication.
Main Duties
- Actively manage donor relationships across assigned portfolio of largely UK supporters with first class stewardship and reporting to secure renewals and uplifts of approximately £500,000 pa.
- Support with oversight of engagement with supporters ranging from £10,000 - £50,000. Galvanise and coordinate the European Philanthropy team to identify opportunities to uplift giving and ensure all supporters feel valued.
- Develop the pipeline of new donors through effective prospect research, network mapping and connecting with new contacts at external and internal events as a representative of ClientEarth.
- Support the Philanthropy Manager, Philanthropy Lead for Europe and all the Philanthropy Team to create the conditions for success in the European Philanthropy Team. Collaborating with colleagues across Europe inclusively to achieve shared goals and strengthen processes.
