Fundraising and Development Manager
Cambridge House is looking for a motivated candidate who is willing to go the extra mile to create a more just society. Our innovative London-based charity has been tackling poverty, social inequity, and social injustice since 1889. We provide a range of services that are designed to improve people’s lives as well as transform society through research and social action.
Our team is very diverse in terms of cultural diversity and lived experience, the roles combine office-based and remote working, and we offer staff a range of competitive benefits.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, our Fundraising and Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies that ensure funding priorities and funding gaps are identified and addressed.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in successful fundraising from grant-giving trusts and foundations and statutory funders, including prospect research, cultivation, and the management of funding relationships; the drafting of funding proposals; and compliance with fundraising best practices.
We value diversity and warmly encourage applications from disabled and LGBTQIA+ people, candidates who share lived experiences with our service users, and people from Black, Asian, and ethnically minoritised communities.
