Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the role is focused on generating and developing monthly management accounts information and providing insight and direction to the Director General and Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the ‘Head of Finance and Organisation Development’, the Management Accountant will play a key role across the business in improving data capture and managing reporting across the team. This role will be on a part time basis of 2 days a week.

This role will suit someone who is looking to join a small, dynamic and growing organisation to run the management reporting process and provide timely and accurate financial management information. Systems experience with ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’ accounting package would be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparing monthly management accounts, including comparatives to budgets, trends and forecasts

· Compiling Balance sheet reconciliations

· Preparing quarterly Project ‘Income and Expenditure’ reports for Project Managers

· Preparing interim/final financial Project reports for submission to Funders

· Preparing quarterly VAT returns

· Providing accurate and timely financial information to support the organisational financial strategy and decision-making process

· Ensuring all transactions are recorded, filed and reported correctly

· Streamlining and improving accounting systems, controls and process environment

· Reviewing and updating current suite of organisational policies

This role will be responsible for all aspects of finance and CRM administrative support for the operational success of the charity and the successful candidate will want to be part of a faith-based organisation, committed to the mission of the charity both in the UK and the Holy Land.

We have grown rapidly in the last two years and given the prominence of the Israel/Gaza/Lebanon conflict in our domestic media, we anticipate further growth as the charity becomes more prominent and the needs for essential support become greater. Job Purpose

This role sits within our new forensic Women’s Nova Roots service, which is a peer led service for women who are leaving forensic services, based in West London. The service will be open 3 days a week: one weekday evening out of hours and three weekends a month (flexible weekend pattern and times can be arranged).

The aim of the service is to support women who are leaving forensic care to re-integrate into society by offering a community social hub. The focus of the service is to provide social engagement, relaxation and a touch point for out of hours forensic support. The Women’s Hub will provide face-to-face holistic group support, offer psychoeducation and health workshops tailored and coproduced to the direct needs of clients, offer peer-led groups which will be co-designed and led by the clients accessing the hub. We will also offer a range of activities onsite.

Nova Roots will be an extension of the existing support offered by the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), offering out of hours social support. All referrals into the hub will be directly from the SCFTs and local hospitals.

The Nova Roots will be staffed with 1 part time Project Coordinator and 4 Forensic/Peer Led Volunteers – with Service Manager oversight. The Project Coordinator will work directly and closely with the SCFTs.

The Role

The role of the Nova Roots Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, health and peer-led workshops which will be delivered 3 times a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the 4 peer-led volunteers and oversight of the site 3 days a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will also be required to be in regular communication with the SCFTs.

The role will require hybrid working: onsite when the hub is open and 1 day of planning/coordination which can be worked remotely on a rota basis.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self motivated Intensive Needs Support Coach to join us on a fixed term rolling contract as part of the Rough Sleeper Initiative Project. You will provide effective practical and personal support and guidance to our residents during their stay in our accommodation to enable them to become more resilient and to live independently. The service supports residents who have a history of non-engagement and have a history of rough sleeping and complex needs. You will proactively support them to be more engaged in activities and support plans to overcome their personal barriers. You will run activities and complete safety plans, support plans, and other appropriate interventions to support our residents to achieve their goals.

About you

We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate to supporting those who face multiple disadvantages within society, and have a history of homelessness. You will be driven to help end the cycle, by providing personalised support to individuals for them to gain greater independence and have long term access to accommodation. You will have an understanding of the challenges they face and understand how different complex needs can vary. We're looking for someone who is resilient, a problem solver, and able to work in fast paced ever-changing environments.

We are looking for an experienced person to contact employers to generate job opportunities for unemployed Fellows, manage the relationship with the employer and ensure that vacancies generated are properly serviced, and to network with businesses and other organisations to promote the work of Making The Leap to secure job opportunities for our young people.

Making The Leap is an innovative social justice charity that aims to make a big difference. From direct delivery, to advocacy and leadership, we refuse to stay in our lane and believe passionately that those we exist to serve have the right to be anything they want to be. To say that this is an exciting time for the organisation would be an understatement, as our incredible funders, donors, partners and supporters have given us the chance to move to the next level, and have further influence and delivery nationally.

Project Possible is a Christian charity that works with partners across the world to help communities towards a sustainable future. We are looking for a highly organised, detail-focused Projects Coordinator to join our small, dedicated and dynamic team, to help build the lasting impact of our work.  You will have the opportunity to get involved in key aspects of our partnership capacity building, strengthening our administrative systems and playing an essential role in monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting.

This is a vital role where your work will both influence the effectiveness of our partnerships and help communicate impact to supporters. You’ll need strong Excel and analysis skills, an eye for detail, and a proactive mindset. To excel in this role, you will enjoy working collaboratively and be equally comfortable with administrative tasks as well as being a forward thinker. You will also need to be fully supportive of our Christian ethos and values.
