Why Change Grow Live?
Change Grow Live are a health and social care charity. We support people in a huge range of difficult situations, including those who use drugs and alcohol, and those whose home life is affected by drugs, mental health and/or domestic violence. We're the largest charity of this type in the country, supporting tens of thousands of people in their own journeys. Hundreds of staff work across our organisation to support some of the most vulnerable people in society. Among the many services we offer are:
- Needle exchanges, both in-person and anonymous
- Screening for blood-borne viruses
- Drug testing for fentanyl, nitazene and other harmful additives
- Prescribing safer alternatives to opioids to reduce harm from street drugs
- Working with local pharmacies to check people have picked up life-saving medication
- Case workers who specialise in helping children and young people
Responsibilities
About you:
You're someone who enjoys understanding how things work and finding better ways to do them. You combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You're naturally curious, ask thoughtful questions, and enjoy turning complex problems into practical solutions.
You understand that successful digital products are built through collaboration and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and help shape effective outcomes.
You may already be an experienced Business Analyst, or you may have developed strong analysis, process improvement, or requirements gathering skills in a related role. Most importantly, you're passionate about improving services and helping teams deliver meaningful change.
We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions.
- A structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Confidence translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, or process maps.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- An interest in continuous improvement and delivering positive outcomes for users.
This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, building strong relationships, and helping teams deliver services that make a genuine difference.
If you're excited by this opportunity but don't feel your experience perfectly matches every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. We recognise that skills and experience can be gained in many different ways, and we value potential, transferable skills, and diverse perspectives alongside direct experience.
