This is an exciting role in a team dedicated to raising the bar of operational excellence at Stewardship. As Insight & Data Analytics Manager, you will be the organisation's expert on understanding what our data is telling us about how clergy engage with our services, and what they need. Working with customer service and technical colleagues, you will design and run feedback mechanisms, manage data flows across systems, and generate insight that directly informs service development, product design and strategic decision making.

This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of our data while also shaping the frameworks we use to measure impact. You will work closely with the Digital Manager to ensure data flows are robust, with the Head of Customer Service to ensure feedback is practical, evidence based and actionable, and with colleagues across Housing and Pensions to build a joined-up view of the customer journey.

Ultimately, your work will ensure that our Financial Wellbeing services are grounded in evidence, responsive to customer needs, and able to demonstrate its impact to senior leaders.

What is the role of Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer?
The Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer plays a key role in building and strengthening relationships with our supporters, this can include churches, church leaders, key volunteers and individual. You’ll engage with people personally – primarily through phone and email – to inspire generosity, communicate impact, and ensure every supporter feels valued and connected to Church Army’s mission.
You’ll also support the smooth running of our supporter systems, helping ensure that data is accurate and that every interaction leads to meaningful follow-up. This is a varied role where you’ll balance communication, administration, and creativity – while developing skills that will serve you throughout your career.

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to work with staff and volunteers at our established Christian recovery charity in Berkshire. You will provide direction, support and oversight on all aspects of HR management, including: recruitment; staff supervisions and appraisals; compliance with employment regulations; training; performance and talent management; grievance, disciplinary, and capability procedures; salary structure and employee benefits; and organisational personnel planning.

We do not currently have HR software, so reviewing our requirements in this area would be one of your responsibilities.

​As a small charity (c. 43 salaried staff and casual workers, plus volunteers), the role will require balancing practical tasks with management responsibilities. For the majority of the working week, you'll be based in the office (a lovely rural setting near Twyford, Reading) and, being situated within the rehabilitation centre, you will have daily contact with those men whom you are helping. They inspire and motivate us just as much as we seek to encourage and support them. (Some remote working might also be possible.)

Reporting in to the Communications and Content Lead, the Copywriter will inspire audiences to give, act and pray with Christian Aid, so everyone can live a full life, free from poverty and injustice.

The post-holder will generate compelling creative copy and make impactful decisions around writing, editing, proofing and reviewing copy to the highest quality standard and supporting freelancers and agencies to do the same. Their output uses their creativity, expertise and passion for copy to create and oversee exemplary content for both print and digital media.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Copywriter include:

• Provide copy leadership within the Communications Division and ensures high quality copy aligns with Christian Aid’s tone of voice and brand.
• Review written content to ensure it supports fundraising and advocacy goals to the highest standard.
• Undertake a range of ad-hoc and planned copy-based and creative services or projects delivered to internal clients including creative consultations, pre-brief scoping sessions, and sanctioning exemptions to specific brand messaging.
• Manage freelance copywriters on the roster, ensuring they are trained and advised on how to apply the brand tone of voice and messaging through various types of content, in addition agencies are given feedback and direction to maximise our impact.
• Collaborate with teams across Christian Aid, enabling colleagues to write and edit content through advice, training and inductions.

The National Safeguarding Team supports churches, dioceses, religious communities, cathedrals and other Church bodies to make the Church of England a safer Church for all. It aspires to be a centre of excellence for safeguarding that creates a consistent culture of safety, trust and respect across the Church and beyond. The team is responsible for oversight of the Church's safeguarding policy, as well as safeguarding learning and development. The team manage complex and high-profile safeguarding casework, including that relating to senior clergy. Team members oversee the provision of support to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as supervising and quality assuring regional networks of safeguarding professionals. The team is supported by a Programme Office and a highly skilled business support team. The Contracts Team will be managing high profile contracts with third parties that provide services to the wider Church and victims and survivors of abuse.

We are looking for a committed individual who has experience processing accounts. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure that all purchase invoices are authorised correctly and paid efficiently to the society and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure purchase ledger incoming mail and emails are dealt with on a daily basis;
• Responsible for authorising all purchase ledger invoices;
• Process on the accounting system for all transactions within agreed SLA’s;
• Support the month-end close process including and not limited to the accrual and prepayment process.
• Support and collaborate with the internal users of the purchase to pay (P2P) process to ensure queries are dealt with on a timely basis.
• Payment to suppliers on time;
• Reviewing transactions in the nominal ledger to ensure completeness and to answer queries.
• Processing of travel and expenses, including corporate credit cards.
• Responsible for the month-end close and nominal account reconciliations.
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, you are required to perform other duties assigned by your manager from time to time that are within your capabilities.

About you:

• AAT Level 3 Qualified;
• You have excellent Microsoft Office Skills including Excel (VLookups & Pivot Tables);
• You are able to communicate effectively;
• You are committed to meeting deadlines and able to plan and prioritise work;
• You have strong time management skills;
• You are well organised;
• A positive attitude towards Pilgrims’ Friend Society and its wider aims and objectives and are able to fully agree with our Doctrinal Basis.

Hours:

Full-time contract, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a Social Media and Video Content Creator to help shape and communicate the heart and vision of Gateway Christian Centre through high-quality digital broadcast content.

This role involves working closely with Gateway’s Comms Associate Lead and senior leadership, helping to communicate events and campaigns, as well as the vision, ministry and ‘voice’ of Gateway church and campuses; through high-quality digital, broadcast and print content.
