A senior member of the high-performing Trusts & Philanthropy team, you will be responsible for routinely raising significant revenue and capital funds from major donors. This key role will focus on working with prospects and donors with the motivation and capacity to invest in Maggie’s growth and will prioritise transformational gifts which can support our accelerated growth. You will be a strategic thinker with significant experience to deliver principal gifts to the value of £1million and above.
As Head of Philanthropy you will ensure the effective identification and cultivation of prospects through board or volunteer networks. You will commission a programme of engagement and stewardship events to inspire and enthuse potential supporters and invigorate current donors to continue support. You will also personally manage a prospect portfolio using exceptional communications, engagement and stewardship strategies in order to achieve our ambitious fundraising goals and objectives.
You must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of major gift portfolio management and principal gift development. A record of successfully expanding the donor base through cultivation and excellent stewardship is also essential. You will share your significant experience and insight where helpful to contribute to the successful development and implementation of Maggie’s overall fundraising strategy.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced governance professional to join our Governance Team. Caxton Youth Organisation:
Caxton Youth Organisation is the only specialist youth club of its kind for learning disabled and autistic young people in Westminster aged 11 to 25. There is nowhere quite like Caxton Youth Club; that’s what the young people we work with and their families tell us, and we passionately believe it too.
Caxton has been around for 77 years, quite something for a small but mighty charity, and our longevity says so much about the importance of the services we provide to ensure young people with disabilities in Westminster are able to advance in their personal development, develop a sense of belonging in our community, and lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The majority of our work is delivered at our dedicated youth club in South Westminster. Our youth work team focus on young people’s social and emotional wellbeing, independence, employability, creating community and opportunities, social action and health & getting active. All these topics are explored during weekly youth club sessions which take place in the evenings, and young people are supported to attend thanks to our very own Caxton minibus which collects and drops participants home across the borough. During school holidays we run trips, including residential trips, giving our members the opportunity to experience life outside London, and parents and caregivers some much needed respite.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. Head of Operations & External Engagement
Blossom LGBT is recruiting a Head of Operations & External Engagement to lead our charity’s governance, finance, fundraising operations, and external engagement. This senior role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who wants to shape a fast‑growing LGBTQ+ charity and strengthen our long‑term impact.
You will work closely with the CEO and Trustees to ensure the organisation runs efficiently, compliantly, and sustainably with a focus on enabling high‑quality service delivery for LGBTQ+ young adults by our programmes team.

What You’ll Be Doing as our Head Of Operations & External Engagament
This is a standalone leadership role working directly with the CEO and Trustees. You will lead charity operations, support fundraising and income generation, and help shape a scalable operations function as the organisation grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead governance, finance, and compliance functions, including financial reporting, charity law compliance, audits, and risk management.
- Oversee internal systems, policies, workflows, and digital infrastructure, developing scalable processes for growth.
- Drive external engagement through digital marketing, communications, and in‑person outreach.
- Lead income generation operations across grants, trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.
- Manage bid pipelines, donor stewardship, and CRM/digital systems.
- Recruit, support, and manage volunteers to deliver core operational functions.

The Role
As Finance & Business Operations Director, you will lead VAST’s financial and operational strategy, ensuring robust financial management, effective HR and IT systems, and compliance with Health & Safety. You will oversee the efficient running and management of The Dudson Centre (a Grade II listed building), act as Company Secretary, and serve as the organisation’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
This is a senior leadership role, contributing to strategic planning and organisational development while supporting VAST’s day-to-day delivery. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who combines financial expertise with operational leadership and a commitment to community impact.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc)
Significant experience in financial management and business operations in the VCSE sector. - Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
Knowledge of charity finance, governance, and compliance. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel locally and work occasional evenings/weekends.

The LSE Students’ Union is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Operations. This is a newly created position, offering an exciting opportunity to take senior oversight of our central teams and ensure the effective delivery of our operational functions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership and direction across finance, HR, governance, compliance, and risk management.
