Salary: £33,200
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday working between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. You may be required to work flexibly around these hours due to service and resident requirements, including evening work and taking part in the out of hours on call rota for managers.
About the Role
We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our new service which is opening based in Bermondsey, an Independent Approved Premises (IAP) commissioned by Criminal Justice Services (CJS). The service works with residents who have recently been released from prison and helps them to reintegrate into the community, and restart their journey to independence. The team will identify resident needs alongside any licensing restrictions, and will create tailored, person centred support plans including housing support, activities, and personal journey outcomes to help them to reintegrate. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners, with a focus on risk management and public protection.
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will support the Service Manager in driving service outcomes in line with our contractual requirements, ensuring quality, consistency, within a trauma informed setting.

- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands and needs of the service. For example, Provide an emergency on call service as and when required in case of emergency
- IT proficiency - we use various systems so look for someone who can learn and navigate new systems including case management, Microsoft, ATS, HR systems, and other types of organisational software

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Specialist Nurse / Practitioner with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, to join our Hospice at Home team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists to support specific developments within the team, aimed at ensuring more people achieve their preferred place of care.
You should hold a relevant degree or diploma and demonstrate proven ability in caring for terminally ill patients. Experience in palliative care or oncology is essential.

About the role
The counselling role will be joining Galop’s free-at-point-of-use counselling service, providing a range of therapeutic support for LGBT survivors of abuse and violence. The service works to address the barriers to counselling that some LGBT people experience and provides a safe, confidential and affirmative service for our clients.
You should have experience working in a counselling setting in the voluntary sector, and have a knowledge of the way the voluntary sector interacts with safeguarding and criminal justice frameworks. We will support you to use your developed empathy and insight to provide effective therapeutic interventions with LGBT individuals of all ages.
You will join a developing team with a commitment to respecting the strengths and coping strategies of victims and survivors of abuse, alongside identifying and mitigating needs and risks (including those that are internal, external, and relational).
You will carry a caseload of up to 10 clients, which reflects the complex emotional and psycho-social needs of our client group. To support you in your work we will provide you with clinical supervision, line management, and the infrastructure necessary to support contained contracted counselling sessions.
To ensure an accessible service you will be required to work some evenings/weekends dependent on client demand.
Location: Galop’s offices are in central London. The Galop therapeutic service will be delivered at Galop’s London office and online and so counsellors can work from the office, remotely or where possible a hybrid.
Hours: 0.6 (FTE): 21 hours including 10 clients per week. There is flexibility in how these 21 hours are worked.

Impact and Insight Delivery

This is a role based full time from their site in Islington and is a permanent vacancy. The charity works with care leavers and at risk young people using drama, staging high profile theatre and film productions.
Reporting in to the CEO, the Head of Finance and Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational, financial and legal aspects of the charity, the work it produces and its staff, ensuring successful delivery of all services. Accountable to the CEO, this person must ensure that the right balance is achieved between a programme of activity and prudent financial management. Some of the key responsibilities include strategic and financial planning, leading in the development and management of business plans. You will ensure realistic financial targets are set, work alongside the CEO to develop a robust, deliverable business plan for financial partnerships and will lead on the development and implementation of HR strategy and staff management policies. You will support the Fundraising team alongside the CEO, working with them to develop and manage a realistic weighted pipeline of trusts and foundations. You will also monitor funding agreements and renewals, support the preparation of corporate sponsorship contracts and over see the management of the office space.
The successful candidate will have prior experience managing finances, ideally for a charitable organisation or not for profit, however you do not need to be a fully qualified accountant. You will have team management experience with the ability to motivate and support staff and bring experience of embedding policies and processes to ensure smooth running of the organisation. You will be a self starter with the ability and drive to learn aspects of the role that you are not as familiar. The charity is open to candidates looking to develop and broaden their experience on the job and therefore you will not be expected to have strong experience in every area.

About the role
· Resident Support & Safety: Provide person-centred care to individuals experiencing homelessness, including assisting with "crash pad" admissions, conducting resident searches, and maintaining hygiene standards through regular sanitising and equipment sterilisation.
· Catering & Kitchen Oversight: Manage the daily breakfast service by preparing food, setting up the dining area, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean by maintaining appliances like the dishwasher and communal fridges.
· Facility Maintenance & Housekeeping: Ensure the 44-bed hostel remains functional and tidy by managing laundry equipment, restocking essential supplies, overseeing waste disposal, and maintaining the reception area.
· Operational & Administrative Tasks: Support the smooth running of the service by preparing rooms for re-letting, sorting donations, performing PAT testing, and assisting with the training of new staff members.
About you
· Experience and knowledge: Proven background in supporting vulnerable people with complex needs, ideally within supported housing or charitable settings, with an understanding of homelessness issues.
· Skills and abilities: Able to work under pressure in emotionally charged situations, self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills, effective team player, and competent in written English; familiarity with CRM systems is desirable.
· Education and training: Capacity to work night shifts, experience with vulnerable groups, and a good standard of education preferred.
· Personal qualities: People‑focused, caring, considerate, diplomatic, independent yet collaborative, solutions‑driven, compassionate, and passionate about making a positive difference.

As Senior Manager: Finance, you will be a vital member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for ensuring the charity remains financially sound, compliant and strategically informed. You will play a central role in modernising financial systems, strengthening processes and providing high-quality financial insight to support decision-making at all levels.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, with scope to shape financial infrastructure, explore digital tools and support long-term sustainability. As the organisation continues to evolve, the role may expand over time by mutual agreement.
In this role, you will:
- Produce accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts, forecasts, dashboards and cashflow projections.
