Responsibilities of our National Email Marketing Officer: 

• The National Email Marketing Officer at Cats Protection will work within an enthusiastic and friendly team to deliver the charity’s email programme. The role includes full responsibility for managing the Cats Protection email platform (currently DotDigital), overseeing campaigns from planning and creation through to delivery and evaluation. 

• As a key member of the team, the Officer will help maximise engagement with new and existing supporters and contribute to sustainable income growth by producing informative and compelling email communications aligned with Cats Protection’s strategic objectives. 

About the Brand & Marketing team:

• Cats Protection’s Brand and Marketing team, based in the Marketing and Income Generation Directorate, looks after email marketing, Brand, Design, Editorial, Campaigns, Digital Marketing, Celebrity & Influencer relationships and Digital Fundraising.

• Small but busy, the Email Marketing team produces insightful email marketing campaigns for the charity. We work hard at building an engaged community of cat lovers online so that we can promote better feline welfare, raise funds and create a better world for cats. You’ll be creating, approving and advising on email content and will also get involved in national campaigns, vital infrastructure workstreams and more, all while working closely with teams from across the organisation. 

What we are looking for in our National Email Marketing Officer:

• Proven experience of digital marketing, ideally working with external agencies within the third sector 

• Specialist knowledge of email marketing, including automation 

• Proven track record of achieving digital marketing growth against agreed targets

Role Responsibilities

Oversight of Spear Programme

Spear Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee 
per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to 
work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.

• Lead group sessions of around 12 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach.
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Spear, as well as their ongoing progress and 
  sustainment of work or education.

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.

Line Management and training

• Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
• Be line managed by Spear to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.

Church Community

• The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Tabernacle Baptist Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church team and immersed in an exciting faith community.
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.

Site Management and set-up

Westway Trust is looking for an inspiring and motivated Health & Social Care Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners in North Kensington. You will design and deliver the Level 1 Award in Health and Social Care, supporting learners through engaging sessions, effective assessment, and tailored guidance.

The role involves preparing lessons and resources, carrying out initial assessments, tracking learner progress and attendance, and supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes. Teaching

• Deliver high quality sessions including theory and practical demonstrations.

General

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification at Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care or, equivalent relevant and recent experience.
• Either a full teaching qualification for working in adult learning (DTLLS, PGCE or DET) or, a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
• Previous experience in assessing and tutoring adult health & social care learners.

• A minimum GCSE English Grade C or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience of teaching and assessing Health and Social Care qualifications in post 16/further education or adult education.
• Experience of teaching adult learners of mixed abilities and an understanding of appropriate teaching strategies in a similar role.
• Occupational competence/experience in health and social care setting.
• Experience of assessing and recording progress, both in accredited and non-accredited learning and supporting learners.

Help keep our day centre and night shelter for people experiencing homelessness run smoothly and effiiciently. 

About the role 

The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in the smooth running of the day centre and night shelter. Working with the Operations Lead, the post holder will secure a diverse and active cohort of volunteers able to fill all the necessary shifts, ensure the building is well maintained and manage the stock of necessary provisions so that guests are adequately provided for. We particularly welcome those with lived experience of homelessness who are able to bring their ‘expertise through experience’ to the role.

Key responsibilities:

Volunteers

• Work with the Operations Lead in the recruitment, training and onboarding of our volunteers, coordinating any relevant checks as required
• Manage volunteer rotas for all our projects: ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely fashion
• Contribute to our engagement with volunteers to ensure they have the best possible experience. This includes supporting the Operations Lead in managing the volunteer advisory group and the provision of training and development of volunteers
• Ensure the volunteer CRM system is kept up to date with all aspects of volunteer data and contribute ideas and actions to improve the process
• Contribute to regular volunteer communication including volunteer newsletters
• Contribute to reports for trustees and other stakeholders on our volunteers and their contribution to the smooth running of the centre.

Premises

• Timely reporting of any damage to the property, fixtures and fittings and liaising with the local authority and repair teams

This role will play a vital role in supporting guests using our all year-round Day Centre and Night Shelter. For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

We’re on a mission to connect with thousands more bereaved military families and that starts with storytelling.We believe that ‘social’ media is in the past and what is needed today is ‘interest’ media – great content that engages its target audience has the potential to reach more people than a high follow count.As Content Creator, you’ll be our expert in creating great content, capturing the emotion, personality, and purpose behind everything we do. 

This is a fast-paced, highly proactive role focused on creating short-form video and photo content for social media. You’ll attend events, follow team members in action, and use your creative instincts to turn everyday moments into compelling content that resonates with our unique audience. We’re not looking for slick corporate videos, we want quick-turnaround, on-brand, authentic content that stops the scroll and builds trust. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Content Creation 

• Film and edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories etc) for use across Scotty’s social channels. 

• Capture and edit photography when needed, particularly from in-person events and outreach activity, often on the go. 

• Work proactively to identify and attend opportunities to film team members and events (e.g. corporate talks, family days, community activity). 

• Jump on relevant trends and moments, adapting them to fit the tone, audience, and sensitivity of our cause. 

• Create great content which will educate or entertain our target audiences (within the bereaved military community). 

Editing & Tools 

• Use tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or iPhone editing apps to deliver content quickly and efficiently. 

• Add subtitles, basic transitions, music, and graphics where appropriate, always with accessibility and brand in mind. 

• Maintain an organised archive of content and assets for reuse across campaigns. 

• Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing Exec to provide platform-ready content.

Planning & Collaboration 

• Collaborate with the Head of Outreach and Social Media & Marketing Executive to contribute to the content calendar and plan campaigns inline with goals. 

• Bring creative ideas to the table and take initiative in spotting content opportunities. 

• Work to brand guidelines while retaining creative flexibility, balancing tone, authenticity, and audience sensitivity. 

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Built a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Conduct a full audit of the charities existing assets, tools and equipment.  

• Alongside the Head of Outreach and the Social Media & Marketing Exec demonstrate a strong understanding of the Scotty’s tone of voice and our marketing philosophy.

• Agreed key performance measures and personal success measures with Head of Outreach. 

• Attend and capture at least one live in-person event or activity and turn it into usable, on-brand content. 

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Delivering consistent, high-quality, creative content reflecting Scotty’s mission and resonating with our target audiences.

• Actively contribute to creative campaign ideas and planning. 

• Effectively repurposing existing content to meet current needs. 

• Working confidently on the go, managing own calendar and movements to capture relevant content across the team. 

• Maintaining an organised archive and has ownership of all video content at the charity. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Recognised as the go-to team member for on-brand, authentic, video or photo content.

• Demonstrating impact through content, using key performance metrics to evidence success in collaboration with the Social Media & Marketing Exec. 

• Balancing creativity with sensitivity by consistently exercising good judgement around tone, storytelling, and safeguarding. 

• Working with the Head of Outreach and Content Creator, we already have the best social engagement rates of any UK military charity!

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Must Have 

• A strong portfolio or clear examples of short-form social content (video and/or photography), with clear results. 

• Proven ability to create mobile-first content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar. 

• Confidence working independently and proactively, capturing content without needing detailed briefs. 

• Strong visual judgement and understanding of what works on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work sensitively and respectfully with content involving bereavement and military families. 

• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK for events and activities (with flexibility around occasional evenings or weekends). 

• A genuine passion for Scotty’s mission and a desire to tell real, human stories that matter. 

Nice to Have 

• Familiarity with accessibility best practice (e.g. subtitles, clear visuals, inclusive framing). 

• Experience capturing content in live or fast-moving environments (events, community settings). 

• Basic understanding of how content performance is assessed on social platforms. 

• An interest in community-building and storytelling beyond polished or corporate content.

A desirable part of the role includes supporting financial administration and reporting tasks. Knowledge of financial systems like Xero or Sage,  Direct  Debit management and Gift  Aid.

Main Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Operations

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and well‑organised working environment.

• Oversee office supplies, equipment, stationery orders, and relationships with vendors.

• Maintain digital and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are stored securely and are easy to locate.

• Support onboarding and practical arrangements for new staff, volunteers, and interns.

• Point of contact and responsible for maintaining the ICC UK Storage Facility. (Currently situated in Newcastle upon Tyne)

Executive & Team Support

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and wider leadership team, including diary coordination, travel booking, meeting preparation, and expense processing.

• Assist in preparing board papers, agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions for ICC UK Board and sub‑committee meetings.

• Support internal communication by ensuring timely circulation of updates, documents, and scheduled reminders.

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with routine finance administration, including invoice processing, receipts collation, card reconciliation, and liaising with the ICC UK finance team as needed.

• Maintain accurate records for compliance, audits, safeguarding training, and policy renewals.

• Support contract and lease administration (e.g., office lease, supplier agreements, insurance renewals).

Event & Travel Coordination

• Coordinate logistics for UK events, training days, team gatherings, and visits from international colleagues.

• Manage bookings, venue arrangements, hospitality, travel itineraries, and attendee communications.

• Support international travel preparation, including documentation, itinerary organisation, and expense tracking.

Communications & Public-Facing Support

• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for enquiries via email, phone, and the ICC UK office address.

• Assist with maintaining contact databases and ensuring GDPR‑compliant data handling.

Systems & Organisation

• Maintain shared calendars, organisational systems, and internal workflows to ensure alignment across the team.

• Help ensure consistency of templates, branding, and standard documents across ICC UK.

General Duties

• Uphold ICC’s mission, values, and commitment to hospitality, clarity, and servant‑hearted support.

• Undertake other reasonable administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of ICC UK and its partnership with ICC International.
