Role: Housing and Partnership Manager

Leading tenancy and housing partnerships
As an experienced and motivated Housing & Partnership Manager, you will lead the delivery of a responsive, high-quality tenancy management service across our properties. This role is perfect for someone with a strong housing background who is passionate about supporting people to live independently and confident in building positive, collaborative relationships with landlords, local authorities, NHS teams, and internal colleagues.

You will oversee the day-to-day management of tenancy services, including lettings, transfers, voids, rent arrears, and tenancy sustainment, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in line with relevant policies and regulations. Working closely with teams across Housing, Property & Compliance, and Support Services, you will play a key role in resolving housing-related issues and improving outcomes for the people we support. You will also help strengthen and develop partnerships with external landlords and housing providers, supporting the continued growth and success of Affinity Trust’s services.

The purpose of this role is to develop incredible relationships with new and existing fundraising supporters within your region helping them to network, influence and fundraise to have a significant impact on the work of the charity. Through your network and creating new opportunities you will increase income in your region across multiple income streams including Education, Individuals, In Memory Supporters and Community Organisations.

Principle Responsibilities  

• Proactively recruit high-calibre supporters, volunteers, and community groups, inspiring and leading these networks to generate sustainable income

• Manage a portfolio of regional donors, ensuring excellent stewardship and long-term engagement. Enabling supporters to maximise their fundraising potential 

• Monitor and report on income, expenditure, and key performance indicators, including volunteer recruitment and event registrations, managing an income budget of approximately £600k PA.

• Deliver presentations and pitches to schools, community organisations, and businesses. 

• Act as “the face of BWCHC” within your region, developing and acquiring meaningful, long-term relationships

• Grow and strengthen volunteer and ambassador programmes in line with charity processes and procedures. Enhance fundraising volunteers’ skills to act on behalf of the Charity 

• Spend at least 50% of your time working within your region. Plan effectively, develop fundraising products, and collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure excellent donor stewardship.

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive Engagement and Communications Officer with experience supporting multi-channel activity across an organisation. Role description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Arts & Engagement Coordinator to support with the delivery of our Hospital Arts Programme. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to work as part of the Arts Team.

This role will play a key part in delivering and developing Southampton Hospitals Charity’s arts programme across hospital sites. Acting as an ambassador for the Charity, you will represent the organisation, coordinate the day-to-day operation of the programme's activities, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth communication with staff, artists, and partner organisations. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential. in external arts projects, partnerships, and professional networks, while building and sustaining strong relationships with artists, cultural organisations, healthcare staff, patients, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

General:

• Maintain a regular on site presence across hospital locations to support programme delivery, coordination, and relationship building.
• Deliver one-to-one bedside art sessions for patients who are unable to attend group workshops.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

This new role is an integral part of the day-to-day delivery of our Advice and Support Service. The service is targeted at older people in or facing financial hardship, and provides information, advice and follow up support relating to a range of issues, including Welfare Benefits, Social Care and Housing. 

As an Adviser (Scottish Housing, Social Care and Welfare Benefits) you will be responsible for providing specialist support to older people, their families and carers through our advice service with their enquiries relating to housing and welfare benefits in Scotland as well as providing generalist level support on a range of issues through our duty service.

You should have in depth, specialist level knowledge of Housing or Welfare Benefits in Scotland (ideally both) as they relate to older people, and experience working within a high-volume advice setting and advice supervision framework. We plan to expand our advice offer in Scotland to cover Social Care, so knowledge in this area would also be beneficial. You should be able to travel within Scotland, including to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Salary Information:

The salaries below are full-time (35 hours per week) and will be pro-rated if part-time.

Funders Together is a cross-sector funding infrastructure organisation bringing together strategic initiatives that improve how funding supports communities to shape a better future.

Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities

Manage the DUK project portfolio

• Become a subject matter expert in applied and translational research in DMD, allowing informed decision making and effective communication with key stakeholders
• Support identification of new project and collaborative opportunities, including the ongoing management and delivery of our applicant-led funding call
• Support the Director of Research and Development in project scientific review, working with the Scientific Advisory Board, Patient Advisory Board, Senior Leadership Team and DUK Board of Trustees
• Manage project development and initiation, including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones, and budgets
• Manage and oversee project delivery, including monitoring of progress, according to agreed timelines and deliverables (including written updates and formal reports), and managing project finances, including reviewing and approval of invoices and monitoring project expenditure
• Support research budget forecasting in liaison with the finance team and the Director of Research and Development, and ensure compliance across the project portfolio
• Build and manage relationships with external partners and maintain regular communication through the project life cycle
• Support the Director of Research and Development to identify areas of strategic focus to inform the development of new research programmes
• Contribute to and support the development of DUK led research proposals for external funding and work with the income generation team to identify opportunities for research funding

Research governance and processes

• Maintain and improve, as relevant, internal processes for research management and governance
• Act as system owner for the research functions within DUK’s CRM (Salesforce), maintaining records and driving process improvements for grant workflows and monitoring
• Support the Director of Research and Development in research governance activities
• Support the Director of Research and Development to ensure compliance with the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) requirements, such as - contributing to annual data collection and surveys; implementation of AMRC processes and reviews recommendations, as relevant; keep up to date with relevant news and opportunities for training, collaboration and networking

Support the Director of Research and Development on the following external engagement activities

• Development and implementation of outreach and engagement activities in the DMD patient and research community to inform areas for research focus and prioritisation
• Scoping and development of formal and informal strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholder organisations (e.g. membership societies, other charities, consortia etc)

Support delivery of DUK flagship strategic programmes

DUK has strategic programmes in clinical research access and capacity, care standards and care access, assistive technologies and patient data. Under the oversight of the Director of Research and Development and working closely with the relevant programme team:

• Coordinate key programme updates and discussions between the DUK team and the programme teams
• Working with DUK comms team, support the development of external comms and marketing
• Working with the Director of Research and Development and the programme teams, support development of new initiatives and external funding opportunities

Other key responsibilities

• Provide general research admin support (e.g. arrange research meetings, both internal and external, prepare agendas and take minutes)
• Work with DUK comms team to identify case studies and success stories and support the development of the research comms strategy
• Coordinate research comms and work with the Director of Research and Development and comms team to ensure all research content is accurate and appropriate
• Work with the income generation and comms teams to provide updates to our key co-funding partners

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day processes across the Hospice’s accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including invoice processing, approval workflow management, payment processing, and accounting record maintenance through the Sage Intacct system. The role and your key responsibilities

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area are supported and equipped to make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.
You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week). Please note you will need to be based in Hertfordshire, North London or Cambridgeshire for this role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges, delivered remotely or in person. Also deliver impactful training webinars to our wider UK school and colleges network.

• Work with your partner Area Managers to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

• Monitor and analyse platform usage across partner schools and colleges, identifying partners that need additional support and proactively delivering tailored solutions to increase their engagement with the platform.

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

• Attend conferences and run CPD training events on behalf of Unifrog.

About the role:

For someone trying to move forward after contact with the criminal justice system, safe housing can be the turning point that changes everything. As a Housing Advice Worker, you’ll be part of Single Homeless Project (SHP’s) Pan London Housing Advice and Interventions Service, delivered in partnership with St Mungo’s and the Ministry of Justice, helping people on probation find clearer, safer routes away from homelessness and housing crisis.

Based in Brent, with work connecting into designated London boroughs, you’ll work closely with Probation Services to support clients to sustain their current accommodation or secure new housing where needed. Day to day, you’ll hold a caseload, complete strengths-based assessments, explore housing, financial, employment and wider support needs, and build practical plans that turn pressure and uncertainty into clear next steps. You’ll also identify risks and safeguarding concerns, keep accurate case records, liaise with housing providers and specialist agencies, and work alongside partners such as probation and police to help people access accommodation and opportunities that are safe, realistic and sustainable.
