Purpose of role

To manage the annual programme of the PPA psychoanalytic psychotherapy qualifying training and the Advanced Clinical Course. To promote and grow the trainings. To manage the budget and collect and report on performance management data. To track all trainees’ progress, to ensure the smooth running of all elements of the teaching provision and to liaise and work in collaboration with the PPA training committee (TC), curriculum committee (CC), selection committee (SC) and post graduate committee (PGC).

Accountable to

The post will be line managed by the office manager will be accountable to and work in close collaboration with the committees of the PPA.

Key responsibilities

1) To oversee and manage the delivery of the annual programme of the PPA trainings in collaboration with the TC and PGC.

a) Booking clinical, theory and group seminar leaders in collaboration with TC and PGC.

b) In liaison with the Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement place adverts for supervisors, teachers, and group leaders as appropriate.

c) Ensure that trainees and TC have an up-to-date list of Training Analysts, Training Supervisors and Approved Therapists

d) Room booking for all aspects of the programme.

e) Annual review, update and production of handbooks and all written materials for course.

f) Collaboration with the library to track reading list production.

g) To be the first point of contact in cases of emergency.

h) To collect, collate and report on trainee feedback.

2) To oversee the annual trainee selection for the trainings.

a) To be the first point of contact for potential applicants, giving out appropriate information about the trainings and passing appropriate inquiries onto the training advisors.

b) To liaise with interviewers and arrange trainee selection interviews.

c) To attend selection week/day process.

d) Collate information on the number of applicants and successful candidates and report to TC.

3) To support the TC in the monitoring and management of trainees’ progress throughout their training.

a) To record which tutors have been assigned to trainees in collaboration with training committee.

b) To receive monthly updates from training tutors, collate and report to TC as required.

c) To manage collection and evaluation of all feedback from trainees and seminar leaders and send as appropriate to the training committee.

d) To find readers and markers for final clinical papers and arrange dates for reading ins.

4) To promote and grow the trainings.

a) In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, Comms & Engagement to develop and implement a marketing plan for PPA trainings.

b) To work with the Events Officer to promote the trainings at bpf open days.

c) To liaise with the PPA newsletter editor to ensure the production and circulation of the newsletter and to communicate with the Membership Officer about any PPA items for the bpf newsletter.

d) Ensure consistent messaging about PPA trainings across internal and external communications.

e) To have oversight of the cycle of reaccreditation with the BPC.

5) To ensure effective administrative and financial management of PPA trainings.

a) To take lead on ensuring all communication with trainees is up to date including collection of fees, sending out handbooks, curriculums, all training materials, and dates.

b) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to oversee and maintain budgetary control of both trainings.

c) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to provide management reporting data.

d) To collect and report on data collection of protected characteristics.

e) To provide budget updates to the training committee.

f) To recommend and implement improvements to PPA training admin systems and processes.

g) To manage all payments from trainees and to teaching staff.

6) To work with all PPA committees to maintain the functioning and growth of the PPA association.

a) To attend TC meetings, PGC meetings, bpf Heads of Trainings meetings and any other meetings to ensure the smooth running of the committees and clear communication between committee members.

b) Organise and oversee the termly PPA reading group and other social events in collaboration with the Events Officer.

c) Encourage and grow PPA members’ events in collaboration with the Membership and Engagement Officer.

7) General

a) Any other activities deemed appropriate by the CEO and Office Manager.

b) Supporting office colleagues with other trainings when necessary.

c) Working collaboratively with the whole bpf staff to ensure the smooth running of all bpf training and membership activities.

d) Being part of the office duty system.

e) Adhere to bpf policies and procedures.

We are looking for a Recovery Support Worker to join our passionate, and dedicated team in Hounslow. In this role you will support some of the most vulnerable individuals in the borough, helping them identify their individual strengths and aspirations.

The Hounslow LIFE service is a large multi-site service with a large team of colleagues with specialisms in Homelessness, Substance Use and Mental Health to provide a recovery based approach to 86 clients across our different sites.  

In the role of Recovery Support Worker, you will: 

• Work with clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation.  

• Provide support to maintain independence in the community, build their skills for employment, manage their health needs, and look towards a brighter future.  

• Oversee housing management responsibilities to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality services. 

In this role you will work on a weekly shift rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

ELMS consists of 4 supported houses, a small floating support service and a day programme for adults experiencing severe, enduring mental health problems. The service is commissioned to provide longer term placements, with varying lengths of stay. This role involves travelling between the houses and working some weekends.

About the role:

Project workers will work with clients at their own pace to develop their independent living skills as much as possible, manage their prescribed treatment, develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships and build social networks. Where possible you will assist them to access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.

As a Project Worker you will take part in all aspects of the day to day running of the schemes, working as part of a shift from Monday to Sunday.  You will be required to work with clients effectively; providing support via structured key working.  You will also carry out assessments including risk assessments and goal setting via SHP support planning.  All Support plans will aim to promote SHP’s values and practices.

You will be responsible for implementing holistic support strategies to address the emotional, practical and housing management needs of residents of the project. This includes assisting residents with maintaining their mental health, practical daily tasks and maintaining a safe, clean, living environment.

The role will form a pivotal position within the schemes as Project workers are the point of contact for daily events. This might include structured group work, you will also support the project leads with activities and support case-holders to carry out allocated tasks.

Your mission will be to enhance our brand's digital presence and convey our social purpose, with a focus on our brand-new website and multiple newsletters. With a keen eye for detail, you'll also create high-quality insight reports that demonstrate our impact and identify areas for improvement. 

Your role extends to supporting PR tasks and collaborating with the Insights Team to maintain high data quality, to enhance newsletter targeting and distribution.

You'll report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the Digital Content Officer, ensuring that the right content reaches the right audiences and our digital channels achieve optimal engagement and growth.

About you

You are a creative and analytical Marketing and Communications Officer, skilled at using digital marketing to build brand engagement and grow audience reach.

You have experience curating engaging content for websites and newsletters and developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with others.

Your understanding of user journeys and SEO will ensure that Youth Music’s new website is impactful, current and audience focused. Tasked with supporting projects from concept to completion, your organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines will be critical to your success.

You also excel in liaising with agencies and partners, and your analytical skills enable you to create reports and use data to inform marketing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a regular flow of engaging content for our websites and newsletters, ensuring consistency and audience engagement.
• Write copy for the website, newsletters, and occasionally for social media. Ensure all copy is engaging, informative, and tailored to the intended audience.
• Regularly update and maintain the company website. Liaise with internal partners to ensure all content is current and relevant.
• Support the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Content Officer (DCO) and the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM).
• Coordinate closely with website, content, and Google Ads Grant agencies to ensure seamless alignment with Youth Music’s digital marketing strategy.
• Work with the DMM and DCO to create detailed monthly and ad-hoc reports. Analyse data to gauge the effectiveness of marketing plans and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of the company’s website. Stay updated with SEO best practices and adjust website content accordingly.
• Provide support to the Head of Marketing and Communications with PR tasks.
• Collaborate with the Insights team to interpret data collected from marketing campaigns, the grants programme and audience research. And optimise our use of databases, ensuring the highest quality of data is maintained on Mailchimp for more effective newsletter targeting and distribution.

Person specification

Essential

•  At least one year’s continuous experience working in a similar role.
• Experience writing and editing compelling and accessible copy for various platforms such as websites, newsletters and social media.
• Knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
• Proficiency in updating and maintaining website content to ensure it remains current and relevant.
• An understanding of the principles of data protection.
• Experience using data and insights to inform digital marketing plans.
• Skills in database management, particularly in using databases like Mailchimp for targeted marketing efforts.
• Proven creative thinker, with ability to generate new, forward-thinking, and relevant ideas
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with agencies, internal partners, and team members.
• Knowledge of and commitment to inclusion, diversity, equality and accessibility.

Desirable

• Experience in a charity, agency, youth or music organisation.
• Experience overseeing a Google Ad Grant account.

As the HR Advisor, you will be the first port of the call for all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will take responsibility for the Fund’s recruitment drives, including advising line managers and managing the onboarding process. As part of their work, the HR Advisor will use the Fund’s HR Information System, PeopleHR, to access, input and compile data, and from it produce accurate HR data for relevant and timely reports linked to our HR calendar. The HR Advisor will also be involved in supporting employee relations, performance management guidance, and ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.

Role Purpose:

The role of the Commercial Programmer is responsible for the creative programming and delivery of a commercial public events programme through public commercial events and private venue hire to grow our income, visitor numbers and opportunities. 

Delivering exceptional experiences as an extraordinary cultural destination is at the heart of everything we do at the Old Royal Naval College and our audience development plan, brand positioning and values are our guiding principles.

This role will support the development and delivery of key areas which are essential to our success: 

Commercial public events and partnerships support the Commercial Events department to create a year-round plan of commercial public events which engage existing and new visitors and grow income.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Events programming and delivery

• To research, programme, and deliver a regular annual public programme at the Old Royal Naval College, incorporating seasonal events and event programmes related to art installations or exhibitions.
• To support the development of the Commercial Public Events programme in line with the Commercial Events Strategy as defined by the Commercial Manager.
• Generate income and profile through a range of commercial partnerships, ticketed events, and new ventures to build financial resilience of the organisation.
• Programming unique and innovative special events, working alongside site partners to deliver a collaborative programme of commercial events. 
• To use bench-marking research and consistent formative evaluation to keep the public programme relevant and successful. 
• To provide engagement opportunities for audiences from all backgrounds with a diverse programme of events.
• To ensure that all events are staffed appropriately with the appropriate level of cover for the activities onsite.  
• To manage all documentation and liaison in relation to the delivery of the public programme (i.e. communication with internal and external stakeholders, the completion of events schedules, Event Management Plans, and risk assessments).
• To manage the engagement of contractors and suppliers working on the public programme, ensuring all health and safety protocols are met and site rules adhered to.
• To keep complete and up-to-date financial records and ensure that the programme remains within a set budget. 
• To handle and respond to private event enquiries and confirm/programme them appropriately in the site diary.

Personal Development and Training 

• Maintaining a good level of knowledge of the public event, programming, and heritage industries 
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practice. 

Other duties 

• Supporting the corporate ambitions of the Old Royal Naval College

• Developing and implementing communications, campaign and event strategies: you will develop and drive forward strategies and implementation plans to help organisations define their communications objectives and translate them into achievable outcomes.

• Generating new projects and business: you’ll have the opportunity to define your own role by supporting the team in generating strategic business opportunities – meeting clients and helping them to fully understand the benefits that working with Scriptoria brings.

Our staff have the flexibility to work wholly or partly from home or from our office in Tooting, South-West London, during regular operational hours (08:30–17:30). If working from home, staff must have a working environment suitable for holding video-call meetings with clients. Key skills and experience
