This new and exciting role spans trusts, foundations and statutory fundraising. You will be leading the way on delivering the trusts and foundations strategy - which has been growing from strength to strength - with significant focus on the development of long-term, meaningful partnerships. In addition, you’ll be scoping out the statutory landscape and exploring the opportunities for Back Up to support more people with funding from NHS, national and local government sources.

British Home is a Royal Charter charity with over 160 years’ experience of providing specialist residential care, therapy, support, and hope for adults living with neuro-disability. We have a bold ambition to be recognised as Outstanding by the CQC by 2024 for providing safe and patient-centred care and, ultimately, then aim to be recognised for having Level 2 Rehabilitation Centre status after 2025.
Our new three-year strategy focuses on achieving our ambition by raising our capabilities in neuro-disability care provision and concurrently helping ensure the sustainability of the charity in the long term.
We are recruiting our next Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to revitalise our fundraising strategy and lead the implementation to help deliver our strategic goals.

Key Experience:

Newlife is the UK’s largest charitable provider of specialist equipment for disabled children. About the role
You’ll be taking ownership of community and events fundraising at Newlife. It will be up to you to dictate how these programmes look. Working closely with the Head of Community and Corporate Partnerships, you will devise a three-year strategy, targeting key areas of growth in community fundraising, challenge events and special events.
This role will be what you make of it. Newlife is seeking someone who can bring fresh ideas and approaches. You will be empowered to try new things and learn from the process as you define exactly how community and events fundraising looks at Newlife. The role
The Corporate Partnerships Executive plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising, Communications and Volunteering directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing their corporate partners to meet their fundraising income targets. The role is varied and requires strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, and relationship management.
You will be ambitious and enthusiastic to deliver on income targets from sponsorship, cause-related marketing, employee fundraising and other forms of strategic partnership.
An experienced corporate fundraiser or business to business sales professional, you will have generated income from partnerships before in similar roles. You will be target focused and able to use your skills to secure new business, retain, develop and grow long term income generating partnerships.
