The Role:

As a member of the Work Experience team, you will play a key role in facilitating meaningful work experience placements for young people in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you'll work closely with local employers in Tower Hamlets and the City of London to support them in delivering engaging placements.

Responsibilities will include actively recruiting and onboarding new employers through phone calls, online meetings and carrying out on-site health and safety checks. In addition, you’ll support the Work Experience Manager in delivering school-based sessions, such as assemblies and Q&A drop-ins, to help prepare young people for their placements. You’ll also assist in coordinating placements at The Switch by creating schedules and supporting young people with their tasks. During delivery weeks, the team is responsible for providing responsive support to employers and schools. In case of any issues, you may be required to work from the office five days per week during these periods. 

Details:

· The role sits in the Work Experience team and reports to Work Experience Manager

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays

· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 to 3 days a week, except on delivery weeks where you may be required to be in the office 5 days per week

· Flexibility may be required to cover meetings or deliver events outside of these hours and WFH days

· Start date end of June/early July 2025

The service is based close to Eccelsall Road/Sheffield Hallam Collegiate Campus area of Sheffield, it is easily accessible. Situated in a large Victorian Building, fully refurbished in 2022, there is free on-site parking as well and is also easily access by multiple bus routes.

South East London Mind’s Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Service helps people with mental health needs back into work. We aim to increase the number of people moving into paid employment from Community Mental Health Teams.

We are currently seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to join our team in Bromley as maternity cover on a fixed-term basis. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given).

We welcome applications from all experience levels and backgrounds. What you will need is the ability to motivate and build relationships with participants, strong organisational skills, the confidence to communicate and engage with a range of employers, and a fundamental belief that anyone with a health condition can work.

What we’re looking for:

Relationship building with employers: Ability to initiate and develop relationships with a variety of individuals and be able to engage employers using a variety of methods such as via telephone, online platforms or face-to-face in the community.

Record keeping: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely recording of case notes and data, essential for monitoring progress and achieving targets.

Collaboration: The ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, forging connections and enhancing the overall care experience for participants.

Perseverance: The determination to overcome setbacks, find solutions, and continue advocating for participants’, even in the face of challenges.

Innovation: Bringing fresh ideas to the table, exploring creative ways to break down employment barriers, and promoting inclusive practices within the workplace.

The successful candidates will work in line with the 25-points fidelity scale.

As the new Challenge Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing The Passage's Challenge Events Fundraising strategy, designed to inspire and engage both existing and new supporters, ultimately building a stable and sustainable income pipeline.

Over the past year, we have seen significant growth in the number of people wanting to sign up to challenge events and raise money for The Passage and we have ambitious plans as part of our new three-year strategy. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity that will take the lead on our third party and bespoke challenge events. You will bring enthusiasm and experience that aim to raise The Passage’s profile and reach as well as significant income. You’ll manage annual events, test new event concepts and support our growing network of event participants. This is a varied role with lots of potential for growth and development. You will proactively monitor trends and conduct competitor research and analysis to ensure that our event’s portfolio is competitive and attractive to supporters.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Supporter Engagement and Corporate Partnerships team to build and expand our events programme, whilst stewarding existing supporters and engaging new audiences. A key focus of this role is to provide excellent stewardship to boost engagement and optimise fundraising. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and creation of engaging content for emails to build a strong sense of community. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting new supporters, nurturing relationships and providing exceptional stewardship to ensure long-term, reliable support.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of Challenge Events fundraising, shaping and delivering supporter journeys, developing relationships and organising events as part of a close, collaborative and supportive team. You will be calm when working under pressure, with experience of delivering high quality events.

We are excited to be recruiting two part-time Wellbeing Support Workers to join the Support and Connect Team, in partnership with the NHS Core Team within the North London Foundation Trust.

About Support and Connect 
The Support and Connect service is delivered in partnership with MIND in Camden, within the NHS Core Team. We provide members of our local community with short-term, holistic and person-centred support, which is meaningful and steered by them. We aim to work flexibly with, and alongside clients in the service to support their needs and wellbeing. 
Support and Connect is a short-term service, offering up to 10-12 sessions of emotional, social and/or practical support. You would be expected to meet with clients either at Likewise, in one of our partner offices across Camden or within the community spaces across the borough.
