We're looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant for the Children and Young People's (CYP) Therapeutic Discovery. The role involves handling a variety of tasks, including scheduling meetings, booking conferences, training courses, travel and accommodation, organising files, preparing documents, and assisting with general office duties.

Key duties include:

• Booking travel arrangements, conferences, and training courses.

• Arranging external meetings and events.

• Arranging all aspects of internal meetings, including booking rooms and ordering catering and pre-registering external visitors onto reception.

• Taking minutes at meetings when required and circulating agenda and papers.

• Processing invoices and purchase orders.

• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other documentation.

• Diary management for senior individuals.

• Ad hoc administrative duties requested by management.

The ideal candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, along with possessing a natural ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and tasks.

Cleaning & Room Setup

• Ensuring the buildings and grounds at HT are clean, tidy and ready to be used for our different mid-week events and for our Sunday services, liaising with our contract cleaners and carrying out cleaning duties yourself

Health & Safety

• Understanding and ensuring compliance under the COSHH regulations

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. The Ambassador programme is a key part of our work at Just Like Us.

This role will be key in ensuring that we have a growing community of LGBT+ young people aged 18-25 who volunteer with Just Like Us. We support them to:

• Use their voice: by delivering school talks, writing for the press and speaking on panels

• Develop their skills: through workshops and mentoring 

• Join a community: volunteer with hundred of other LGBT+ young people 

This role is critical to the delivery of this mission and will support the Head of Volunteering Programmes to meet the needs of our community of LGBT+ young people aged 18-25 and the schools that we work with.

This role will provide the successful candidate with a strong foundation for a career in the voluntary sector. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, with strong organisational and administrative skills, and good communication skills to join a friendly, driven Programmes Team.

PSPA supports families affected by Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD), both are complex neurological conditions that affect mobility, vision, swallowing and cognition.

We are looking for someone to join our helpline team to provide professional, comprehensive support and make a real difference to people living with PSP, CBD, their families, and carers. 

We are seeking a motivated and confident person who can deliver a high-quality professional service, to work on our helpline. Previous experience of working in health, social care or the helpline sector is essential. You need to be a patient, empathetic listener with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role will involve assessing and responding to callers' needs via our telephone and email service providing practical and emotional support and delivering learning sessions about PSP and CBD to health and social care professionals. Ideally, you will have experience working on a helpline or in a health or social care setting.

Ability and willingness to travel within your region is essential.  Occasional weekend work may be required.  The role covers the following regions: Greater London, Kent, Essex & Surrey.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan and implement advocacy strategies that strengthen the persecuted church.
• Provide thought leadership on creative public policy recommendations.
• Advocate before international institutions to strengthen the persecuted church.
• Organize and provide advocacy trainings.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to advocates across the ministry.
• Build partnerships with the key stakeholders and influencers in the international arena who carry authority to help strengthen the persecuted church.

Your Profile

• Committed Christian with a passion for the Persecuted Church.
• A relevant master’s degree, e.g., international law, political science, or international relations.
• Experience in advocacy research, drafting policy recommendations and implementing campaigns.
• Proven knowledge of political environments and systems.
• A proven interest in human rights and finding creative ways to strengthen the persecuted church through advocacy.
• Excellent coaching, networking, communication, and writing skills (in English).
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a continuously changing environment.;
