As a Residential Support Worker, you will work under the supervision and guidance of the Care Management Team, Senior Residential Support Workers, and Therapy Teams. You will support learners in both residential houses and the community, assisting with social and academic activities.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting learners with self-care and independence skills such as eating, drinking, washing, bathing, using the toilet, managing incontinence, dressing, mobility, and medication administration.
   
• Ensuring learners' care files are kept up to date and accurate.
   
• At the start of each shift, reviewing communication and log books, and liaising with staff at handover to ensure learners' needs are well documented and addressed.
   
• Establish supportive relationships with learners and encourage the development of stable relationships.
   
• Promote the emotional health and self-esteem of learners and support them through changes in their living situation and personal circumstances.

We are looking for a Funding Officer to join our team in Wales.  This is a fixed term, full time post until March 2026 (open to a conversation on flexible working and job share) 

Depending on your location and preference, you will be based in either the Cardiff or Newtown office. You are welcome to be based in the office full time, or a combination of home and office working. You will need to travel within Wales to work with community groups and charities, and to other offices across the UK to work with colleagues.

• You will assess requests for funding and manage grants using local knowledge, best practice, thematic expertise, and the experience of customers and stakeholders to improve our grant making and inform our decision making. • You will be responsible for supporting local people and communities in Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot, and have a strong understanding of our vision, being able to adapt your approach to the wishes of the people you are working with.

About the role:

The finance assistant is part of the Finance and Resources function and reports to the Head of Finance. About the role:

This role is based in our offices located in Shipley and Wakefield.

As a part-time Helpline Advisor (Triage ISVA) you will provide initial advice and information to clients accessing our service. You will ensure the referral meets our criteria and where this is not the case you have the ability to build strong links with referral pathways across the region. You will be required to provide continuity, advocacy and impartial advice and information about all options, such as reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling.

You will undertake risk assessments and support needs analysis with clients and address initial needs and risk.

To provide non-therapeutic emotional and practical support to victims/survivors. This will be delivered via telephone, text and/or email based on the preferences and need of the client. To build links with services across West Yorkshire to ensure wrap around support is available.

Provide information and advocacy to enable clients to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice. Explain criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to clients.

The Heaney Cluster an intensively supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the borough. The majority of the customers come with a history of entrenched rough sleeping; often coupled with enduring mental health difficulties. The aim is to offer a home to those who would have difficulty finding accommodation because of their lifestyle choices involving extreme drug and alcohol misuse.

The role requires one to work on a shift pattern:7.45am to 3.45pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.The team comprises of Therapist, Move on coordinator, Housing Officer, 16 support workers, 2 Team Leaders, One Project Manager. It would be good to have you join this team.

If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer.

As part of the Mental Health and Counselling team, you will deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive mental health and counselling support to young people within a wider multi-disciplinary locality team. You will work collaboratively with other Centre 33 services to ensure that the holistic needs of young people accessing support are met within the boundaries of our offer. Your role will include a variety of counselling related tasks. Core work will consist of the undertaking of needs and risk assessments, engaging in ‘First Contacts’ with young people, maintaining accurate records and delivering ongoing counselling to a caseload of young people aged 13-25 who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.

By listening to local young people, and local partners, and sharing your findings with the Someone to Talk to team you will support Centre 33 to embed and develop a more impactful service in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.

Role Overview:

What's the Job?

LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily supervision and operation of our sports facilities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal and external bookings, including LSE Sports Clubs, and coordinate weekly sports events such as BUCS, Club and Society events and private hires from external companies. 
 

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Ops and Facility Manager to deliver the strategic vision for our facilities, focusing on enhancing the user experience. You will oversee training procedures, incident reporting, and various administrative tasks, including financial reporting and facility usage tracking. 
 

You’ll collaborate closely with both staff and students, playing an active part in day-to-day operations and strategic development of the sports facilities.
