You will be joining an established team of fundraisers made up of Senior Philanthropy Managers, Philanthropy Managers and Philanthropy Officers. You will have experience of delivering against financial targets, along with the ability to translate complex information into a compelling ask in both verbal and written form. As a Philanthropy Manager in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities in this area and generate significant gifts for amazing philanthropic projects. You will have an enthusiasm for building relationships, the skill to interact with high-level donors and supporters, and the ability to showcase the sector-leading academic research to a range of audiences.

Therefore, we are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to play a key role in delivering organisational growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fledgling Fundraising Team and develop a trust fundraising programme from the ground up. We are looking for someone with experience in raising funds from trusts and foundations, who is an excellent communicator - spoken and written – and who can undertake research to effectively identify appropriate prospects. You will help to develop our case for support and develop a suite of proposals and reports that will convey to funders what Parentkind does, what the parents and schools we work with want, and how we support them. Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to manage your time and prioritise your work.

- A minimum of two years of experience in trust fundraising

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Role purpose
ShelterBox has a growing network of international supporters who connect with the organisation through our international affiliates - independent charities in their own countries. Affiliates’ supporter growth and engagement activities are enabled by this role with further support from other UK-based teams, including fundraising, brand, content and comms.
ShelterBox has 13 affiliates who are directly helping the organisation achieve one of our strategic objectives of international diversified funding. Affiliates share our mission and consequently raise awareness and funding to support the organisation. Collectively they contribute greatly to engaging with and a global community of supporters. We raise a significant proportion of ShelterBox’s total income through our affiliate network, and from other international donors in countries beyond our affiliates.
The purpose of the Interim International Giving Manager role is to support the management of affiliate relationships with ShelterBox by providing a focal point for day-to-day dialogue; to share information and resources effectively across the network; and to develop collaborative working relationships which enhance our supporter experience.
This role will empower the international network by providing materials, information and content which is key to achieving a consistent brand and fundraising success. They will be the focal point for providing support to many of our international fundraising staff and volunteers, with a high level of attention to detail and supporter-centric best practice. They should be confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with a broad set of objectives associated with fundraising and communications. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Leading key relationships with affiliate staff and volunteers to execute the strategy for growing diversified international income.

Strathclyde would like to appoint an early career fundraiser to the role of Alumni Fund Officer, working within its established and successful Alumni and Development team. The Role

About the Role

This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors.
