FareShare Midlands is looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Fundraising to lead its fundraising strategy and build the sustainable income needed to support its work tackling hunger, food waste and poverty across the Midlands.
This is a senior role with responsibility for growing income across trusts and grants, corporate partnerships, individual giving and events, while developing new opportunities through major donor fundraising. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of securing income and building relationships with senior decision-makers, alongside a strong track record of delivering against fundraising targets. You will be confident developing strategy and turning insight into action, with the communication skills to represent the charity with donors, businesses and other external stakeholders.
You will be a collaborative and hands-on leader, comfortable working in a small, dynamic team and willing to contribute across the wider organisation when needed. With strong commercial awareness, creativity and tenacity, you will bring the energy and ambition needed to grow fundraising while staying closely connected to the charity’s purpose.
This is an opportunity to lead fundraising at an important stage in FareShare Midlands’ development, helping to generate the income and partnerships needed to maximise the social value of surplus food and create greater impact across the region.
