At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more.
It costs more than £5m each year to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government and the rest is sourced by our Income Generation team.
The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Income Generation team at Bluebell Wood and we are now on the lookout for an experienced fundraiser to join us and take on the responsibility of developing, implementing and delivering the hospice’s Individual Giving portfolio.
This is an area with a potential for significant growth over the next 1-3 years and beyond, and we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable self-starter to steer the next chapter of our progress and development as our Individual Giving Fundraiser.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery and administration of Bluebell Wood’s Individual Giving income streams (in memory, legacy and regular giving) and work with the Individual Giving Manager to plan and implement a strategy to increase income growth in this area.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. This is particularly important as many of our supporters & fundraisers are bereaved.
Building positive supporter connections is at the heart of what we do at SUDEP Action, so setting a positive example of this through your plans and actions, and demonstrating the importance of maintaining strong, personalised supporter relationships is key. You’ll know how to follow processes to record, monitor and evaluate supporters’ engagement with community fundraising activities, so this feeds back into how the charity operates.
Much of the charity’s income comes from our motivated and passionate supporters, so this role is a key part of income generation. The successful candidate will be able to build on current processes and successes to grow our engagement across all fundraising activities, platforms and campaigns. This role is a new and important addition to the charity as we drive forward future developments, helping to brighten the lives of children throughout the city. Schoolreaders was launched ten years ago in Bedfordshire with the aim of recruiting volunteers to provide one-to-one reading support for children in primary schools across the country. Over 22,000 children in over 1000 schools are receiving weekly reading sessions from a Schoolreaders volunteer. Business Manager - P/T– 26 hours per week
Dyscover is a small, specialist charity providing long term support and opportunities to adults with aphasia, a complex language disability. We are looking for an experienced Business Manager with a strong Fundraising and Marketing background to join our team.
· Experience raising income from a range of income streams particularly Trusts and Foundations also including skills in managing events, individual donors, legacy, corporate and community fundraising.
· Finance and Project management experience.
· Strategic development skills.
· Health, wellbeing, and disability experience within the sector would be ideal.
· Marketing experience; organisational promotion, digital, social media, website and branding. Health service marketing would be an advantage.
· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with good disability awareness.
Location: Office based in Leatherhead KT22 0BN with free car parking.
Salary: £35k (pro-rated)

This is an exciting 2 day a week role to be part of the growing Newham District Foodbank and Ascension’s Advice Service. On 9th June 2021 Ascension’s foodbank officially became part of the Trussell Trust network. We were named Newham District Foodbank, because our plan is to expand to more than one distribution centre to ensure that people across the whole of Newham are well supported. As part of the strategy, we have already secured funding to have debt and benefit advisors supporting each new distribution centre.
In this role you will manage the poverty response work of Ascension Community Trust, including its foodbank. You will provide high level strategic work, including liaising with donors, referral partners and other local foodbanks and support new partners into Newham District Foodbank. Your role will include fundraising for and reporting on the work of Newham District Foodbank, including local partnership funding. You will be involved in the recruitment, management and development of staff and volunteers.

This role will seek to identify new high-level donors, as well as help to develop existing relationships with our generous supporters.
Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, other team members and (occasionally) external consultants, and in collaboration with our colleagues in the Programmes Team, this role focusses on building and consolidating our major donor portfolio, so increasing our donor base and thus our in-year and pledged income.
