What you will do:

Role Outline
Engaging with our local community is essential to the success of fundraising at Wicksteed Charitable Trust, ensuring that Wicksteed Park is here for future generations to enjoy. As Grants and Community Fundraiser you will work within our small, newly established Fundraising team delivering engagement activity to maximise income from the local community as well as researching and developing a Trusts and Foundations income pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have previous fundraising, trust fundraising experience or relevant transferable experience, with strong communication and relationship building skills.
This is a full-time position on a temporary contract for an initial period of two years, with potential to become a permanent position. Wicksteed Charitable Trusts operates a 40-hour working week, primarily based onsite. Consideration will be given to requests for flexible working.

In this fixed-term role, you will support the Direct Marketing Manager - Loyalty to manage the donor loyalty programme. You will develop and manage existing and new supporter communication programmes growing loyalty in our supporter base. The aim is to maximise the value of our long-term relationships with individual supporters.
This role is a varied one, with superb development opportunities. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the print-based communications we send to our supporters but also email production with the view of developing the loyalty digital journey. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the development of our legacy and in memory activities, and high value offer. You'll also have the opportunity to support the supporter acquisition team on projects to gain new donors. Consequently, the role gives you the opportunity to grow your experience in supporter acquisition, as well as loyalty. And you will play a key part in delivering emergency appeals - when the work that you do will have a direct impact in saving older people's lives during a crisis.

About the role
Your challenge? To act as an external face for the charity and meet agreed annual and long-term financial targets by cultivating high value partnerships with UK and Scottish grant-makers to fund Shelter's work in Scotland. You'll also work closely with our Directorate Leadership Team in Scotland to develop compelling and strategic funding propositions and ensure the high quality stewardship of all Trusts and lottery donors.

About you
With a proven track record of securing five and six figure gifts from Scottish high value Trust donors, you will be comfortable working towards ambitious income targets. You'll demonstrate strong commercial awareness and good knowledge of the Trusts market in Scotland. You'll also need the ability to quickly develop an understanding of how to position Shelter as a partner for major grant-makers. Adept at building and managing complex and high-value customer and internal relationships, you will have some line management experience too.
This is a senior role within the Trusts team so you will be expected to contribute to shaping the strategy and direction of the Trusts team in general and lead specifically on the Trusts fundraising strategy in Shelter Scotland.
You will need to be proactive, creative and innovative, with the ability to respond positively to change and a willingness to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas when appropriate.

The CERN & Society Foundation, established in June 2014, is the charity through which charitable gifts for CERN & Society projects are raised from companies, trusts/foundations and individuals.
As an Individual and Digital Fundraising Officer, under the supervision of the Head of the Partnerships and Fundraising section, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow individual donor revenue, both through direct relationship management and digital campaigns. The INSPIRE Foundation, a charity whose objective is to promote research into the development of practical systems for people with damage to the spinal cord by the use of the latest advances in electronic, mechanical, and medical technology.
JOB PURPOSE
The Director is involved in every aspect of the running of INSPIRE, which includes raising funding from a variety of sources, formulating a winning strategy to grow INSPIRE, husbanding resources in the most effective and efficient manner and leading a small staff in their support roles.
SCOPE OF THE JOB
As Director, you will have a large amount of freedom to drive change, grow the charity, set the strategic vision going forwards and use your talents and leadership to ensure INSPIRE thrives. You are to ensure the charity has sufficient funds to cover all routine day-to-day expenses, to pay invoices quarterly for current projects and to plan for taking on medical research projects which are vetted by the National Science Committee (NSC) and agreed by the Board of Trustees. You will be actively supported by a Board of Trustees, to whom you report in your role as Director.
You should be qualified to degree level, ideally with an MBA or an equivalent business qualification. Some knowledge of spinal cord injury and its effects on an individual or of disability more broadly would be advantageous, as well as having a proven fundraising background from working in the 3rd Sector. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Financial management or accountancy knowledge
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to interact with people from all backgrounds
• Standard keyboard skills including the ability to summarise meetings succinctly and clearly
INSPIRE is based in offices at Salisbury Hospital, Wiltshire and you will have a small, dynamic team to help and advise you as you settle into the role.

Role: Children and Young People’s Schools Coordinator
Contract: Fixed-term until 31st August 2026
Hours: Part-Time, 24.5 hours per week (3 and a half days)
Starting salary: £25,850
Location: Contractual base is our head office. Delivery will take place in schools across Lancashire.
We’re looking for a bold and caring individual to join our Children and Young People’s team. We want someone who has experience of engaging and working with children and young people in schools, ideally in Lancashire
To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, be confident, driven and have the ability to work autonomously. You will be open, hardworking, creative and able to quickly build rapport with young people and school staff.
You will have experience working with schools and colleges and understand the barriers some young people face to achieving good mental health and wellbeing.
