This is a newly created post in a growing, ambitious charity supporting Whittington Health NHS Trust.
The post holder will focus on building and stewarding relationships with our nearest and dearest in our north London community, including local businesses, schools, community groups, fundraising volunteers and event organisers and participants.
Community engagement and support is central to our ambitions as a charity. We're committed to making a tangible impact on the lives of our community, whether that be addressing health inequalities among local children, refurbishing wards within Whittington Hospital, or building gardens for the benefit of patients and staff.
The post holder will be expected to be collaborative and team-focused. They will also contribute to the growing reputation of the charity within the organisation. Role Outline and Purpose
On behalf of the trustees and accountable to them for providing strategic direction and day to day leadership and management of the foodbank.
This will be achieved by leading by example in upholding our values, ethos and culture by motivating staff and our wonderful volunteers, along with the Churches and others as strategic partners in successfully implementing the strategy to achieve our vision.

We’re looking for an experienced prospect researcher with strong analytical skills and an excellent knowledge of the global philanthropic space to join our Private Sector Fundraising team. You will be joining a growing major gifts programme with ambitious goals and a strong new business focus.
Someone with prospect research experience in a global health, scientific or medical non-profit setting, and the ability to move comfortably between the worlds of research and philanthropy and to identify opportunities beyond the obvious will be ideal.
Specific responsibilities focus on:
- Assist in developing a proactive and growth-focused prospect research strategy that aligns with DNDi's fundraising plans and strategic priorities.
- Contribute to developing a visibility strategy for DNDi through the identification and tracking of prizes and relevant philanthropic and global health conferences.

An interesting candidate would be someone with
- A deep understanding of the global philanthropic landscape and strong in-depth knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in at least 3-4 countries (US, UK landscape is vital and knowledge of additional markets (Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands or Sweden) highly regarded) with some focus on prospect research experience in developing markets.
- Master’s degree or equivalent with a Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in prospect research experience or a strong equivalent (eg other roles within fundraising) for international NGOs, scientific organisations or organizations with global public health relevance. Some experience with medical research or neglected tropical diseases would be highly regarded.
- Someone who is driven and able to work effectively in a remote team environment and matrix structure

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from May 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)
Remote working with regular travel to the West Midlands and London as required

We’re building our new fundraising team and this temporary role will play an important part in accelerating our ambitious plans to increase annual income during 2024/25.
You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.
Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:
· Raising awareness
· Supporting those affected by sepsis
· Educating health professionals
· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.
2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.
3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities.
4. Provide excellent customer service members of the public, either via phone, mail and in person, help to develop Fundraising activity whilst also offering our Support Services where necessary.
5. Represent the charity as and when required in schools, local businesses, and community groups, including speaking at events if – not essential
6. Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and ensure compliance with the latest legislation and guidelines.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and driven Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our team in this integral and newly created role. The role will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, and developing and managing a pipeline of strategic corporate partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. Responsibilities include:
Leadership, Strategy and Governance
- To be an active member of the Made in Hackney Senior Leadership Team, working together to galvanise the organisation behind our strategic plan.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major Gifts Fundraiser to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for securing six-figure major gifts from individuals in a charity environment to meet ambitious targets. You are an experienced Philanthropy Fundraiser with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of securing significant grants, or you should be able to demonstrate transferable skills. You should be persuasive and credible with all audiences, including those at the highest level, both internally and externally. You should also have the ability to disseminate and present complex information clearly and compellingly.

A fantastic opportunity for a Centre Fundraising Organiser to join the team at our West London centre.
As an integral member of the fundraising team, you will be based at Maggie’s West London and you will assist in the delivery of a wide range of operational and administrative support, as well as social media activities.
