We are looking for a part time experienced Trusts fundraiser, to focus on larger trusts and foundations to join a growing fundraising team for an incredible LGBTQ+ organisation. This role is for 21.36 hrs p/w (3 days), and looking for one day a week in the London office.

You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

The Role
You will join a growing team of three to maximise income by researching, developing new relationships with trusts, foundations and other funders.
Youll be delivering compelling and impactful applications, and providing a high standard of stewardship to existing funders focussing on bids of c10k+.
You will be building on the existing relationships that have been established as well as cultivating new leads that will increase income from these sources, resulting in a more sustainable mix of income.

The Candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can build on their own area of fundraising practice and actively contribute to the fundraising team ambition of growing and diversifying income.
Demonstrable experience of raising multiple five, ideally six figure, grants from mutliple funders.
Experience in securing multi-year gifts from Trust and Foundations
Experience in creating bespoke reports, updates and fundraising copy.

Rahab Project UK is a small charity which is part of a wider global organisation that works towards seeing the lives of at risk and vulnerable women affected by prostitution and trafficking transformed. We support those who are sexually exploited with unconditional acceptance, compassion and dignity to rebuild their lives and achieve their own identity and freedom. We provide learning and development opportunities for women to engage in and offer a supportive and on-judgemental environment as they explore ways and takes steps forward in self-determining their futures.

Overall Purpose: The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of Rahab's projects. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
 

Service delivery

• Ensure that all aspects of Rahab’s project activities are planned, organized and undertaken to fulfil their objectives within their required timelines.

• Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation, plans, reports, and other project-related documents to monitor and track overall progress, outputs and achievement of milestones.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate project risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress with team members and task as required. 

• Contribute to the development of funding applications in coordination with Rahab’s Fundraiser. 

• Support Rahab team with volunteer recruitment and training. 

• Undertake project tasks as required including supporting the team with outreach when necessary. 

• Provide administrative support such as minuting weekly team update meetings and setting up relevant meetings with external organisations. 

Data collection, record keeping, monitoring & reporting. 

• Maintain accurate data and records that capture and analyse information to (i) inform planning and delivery of casework support; (ii) monitor and evaluate wider project outcomes, (iii) to contribute data for future long-term evaluation of casework approach efficacy. 

• Produce accurate quarterly management reports. 

• Produce timely donor reports for funders within respective deadlines. 

• Facilitate a review of project progress for Rahab team at monthly update team meetings, to support project monitoring and tasking. 
   

Service development

Priority stakeholder relationships 

• Participate in and contribute to collaborative working arrangements, alongside Rahab Manager, in key stakeholder work - SI MARAC (Sex Industry Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference) - with Local Authority, Metropolitan Police and Voluntary and Community sector.

• Participation at monthly SI MARAC meetings, ensuring that the work of the group is effectively joined up with wider groups and meetings focussed on addressing risk and harm.

• Support Rahab’s Senior Caseworker where necessary to ensure SI MARAC outcomes are effectively linked up with Rahab's outreach activities, and work-with Rahab’s Project Manager to ensure team members are kept informed about SI MARAC developments. 

• Work with the team to identify and engage in new professional relationships with key organisations across different sectors, and maintain our existing networks of contacts, to (i) develop and expand Rahab’s activities and reach, and (ii) foster collaboration. 

• Represent Rahab in multi-agency working groups, meetings, and forums, sharing knowledge and learning, publicising services available and how to access support. 

Beneficiary co-production 

• Work with Manager to start developing a framework and mechanism for gathering feedback from beneficiaries to evaluate the support they are receiving. 

• Work with the team to identify opportunities for our beneficiaries’ active participation in the project in ways that are safe and empowering. 

Shared learning 

• Participate in team development and learning in relation to best practice interventions and our casework delivery for beneficiaries. 
   

Continued professional development 

• Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, guidance, and best practice. 

• Within budgetary constraints, attend training and other events to help maintain proficiency and build a network of support amongst peers. 
   

Variation clause 

Rahab reserves the right, following full and reasonable consultation with the post holder, to vary, add or alter the terms and conditions of employment. 
 

Flexibility clause 

To deliver services effectively a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically outlined above and/or outside of specified working hours. Overtime will not be paid; however, TOIL will be accrued for hours worked and staff supported to take that time. This post includes occasional evening work.

Trusts and Grants Fundraiser

Offering flexible working with a friendly team, we’re looking for a Trusts & Grants Fundraiser to support The Haven’s financial sustainability through efficient grant research, application, and grant management. You will navigate the world of trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to identify funding opportunities aligned with our objectives and submit high quality applications for support.

Your responsibilities include maintaining a well-organised grant pipeline, tailoring applications to funder criteria, and collaborating with colleagues across The Haven to ensure projects are delivered and measured. Building and nurturing relationships is essential. Your contributions will inform our grants strategy, ensure ethical practices, and contribute to our mission's success.

The role is full-time or part-time (30 hours), and can be remote, hybrid, or office based in Wolverhampton, depending on your preference.

 Main Responsibilities

• Grant Research, Application and Management:
• Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and other grant-making organisations to align with The Haven’s goals, priorities, and funding needs.
• Develop and maintain a robust grant pipeline, tracking the progress of all grant applications from identification to closure. Include monitoring and review of application and reporting deadlines.
• Collate external research and collaborate with frontline managers and staff, as well as other team members to gather pertinent, compelling information needed to develop robust cases for support.
• Prepare tailored funder applications that match the specific requirements and guidelines of each funder.
• Provide relevant materials and support to The Haven’s communication team regarding grants publicity, ensuring funder requirements are met.
• Work closely with project delivery leads to deliver comprehensive grants handovers to ensure compliance with all grant agreements, terms, and conditions, ongoing monitoring and evaluation is in line with funder reporting requirements, and submission of timely high quality reports.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop grant budgets and monitor expenditure against the project budget, to ensure funds are spent as required and in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation and records, ensuring The Haven’s CRM is kept up to date.
• Stay up to date with statutory contract opportunities and share information with relevant colleagues as and when opportunities arise.
• Support the tender writing process, undertaking research and developing copy with the support of the Senior Leadership Team where needed.
• Support the monitoring and administration of tender submissions, including deadline tracking, monitoring communications received and updating colleague stakeholders.

 
Relationship Management:

StandOut is a growing charity, entirely funded by charitable donations. As Fundraising Officer (Trusts) you will be working alongside the Fundraising and Development Manager to ensure we have the necessary funding needed to navigate the next stage of our development, consisting of an ambitious strategy and plan for growth over the next two years.

You will be self-motivated and proactive as you support the development of our approach to fundraising through trusts and foundations. You will identify new opportunities, write compelling proposals and drive ongoing engagement to increase our income.

Our aim is to reach a sustainable income of c. £1 million within the next three years, enabling our coaching team to work with more participants preparing for release, empowering them to realise their potential. Approximately 70% of our income is from trusts and foundations and we anticipate this will continue for the foreseeable future. We have a strong base of funders from which to work, and this role is intended to build on those relationships and develop new ones. Bristol Old Vic’s Fundraising and Development Department is responsible for building financial sustainability for BOV through securing external funding from individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations.

The Development Officer: Individuals & Corporates will secure income from individuals, through our giving schemes and major gifts,  and corporate sponsors who support productions, engagement and community work and the newly formed literary department. The Development Officer: Trusts & Foundations will research potential Trust and Foundation supporters and work with colleagues to prepare compelling, successful grant applications. You will develop and steward a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations and establish a pipeline to ensure continued, growing support from them for our programming and engagement work. This role is vital to the current Transforming Fundraising Strategy as it will work on Trusts & Foundation fundraising and provide accurate, targeted research to help shape our campaigns and approaches.

We specialise in horticulture, retail and general employability. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes and supported internships that lead to vocational qualifications and achieving other aims. We support the wellbeing of our young people through providing mentoring, counselling, enrichment and other one-to-one support.

Our charity has two learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey. We also operate a gardening business and two charity shops, providing income for our charity, work experience placements for our students and employment for 14 young people. We are looking for a Trust Fundraiser for a well known national health charity, to work in a supportive team of five and secure income from medium-sized grant-giving charitable trusts and foundations.

This is a hybrid role with at least one day a week in the London office.

The Role
Support the Head Of Trust, Senior Trusts Officer and Executive to deliver c£1m team income target.

Provide first class stewardship to a portfolio of mid value donors, seeking to retain them as well as uplift their donations, wherever possible. Current warm pipeline sits c£150k.

Research new trust supporters, build a warm pipeline and submit well written trust proposals to funders for applications c £10-30k value. Targeted income for this role is c£100k.

Work with the case for support lead to support service information requests from fundraising teams and translate them into project briefs and compelling case for support materials.

Maintain accurate, up to date and comprehensive records of trusts on the fundraising database or CRM system (currently Raisers Edge).

The Candidate
Experience of securing gifts of over 10k from trusts.

Experience of maintaining relationships with funders and providing tailored donor care and stewardship plans.

Experience of project-based fundraising and the development of restricted and unrestricted propositions within a fundraising team.

Experience of developing pipelines of trust income and activity.

This role can be UK remote working or Hybrid working with the Hampshire office.

The Role
Support the Head Of Trusts and Philanthropt to develop and implement plans to grow income primarily from trusts, but potentially from major donors and statutory funders in the longer term.

Line manage the Senior Trusts Officer or Trusts Officer.

Deliver exemplar stewardship and relationship management to donors which responds to their individual needs and inspires continued support, mostly through written and telephone communications but also includes participation in events, visits and meetings.

Carry out research to identify and cultivate prospective funders, discuss potential projects, submit excellent written applications and manage follow up.

The Candidate
A successful track record in trusts fundraising including securing 5 and 6 figure gifts.

Excellent writing skills for delivering proposals and reports and writing to a deadlines.

Experience in developing and maintaining relationships at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent team working and collaborative working skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships, supporting colleagues across the organisation.

Reporting to the Grants Manager, the main objective of the Grants Officer is to secure income for the Wildlife Trust by initiating, managing and developing a portfolio of bids and applications to a variety of funders. Responsibilities will include:

· Crafting well-written persuasive applications to grant-making trusts and foundations, local authorities, community foundations and wind and solar farm funds to secure core income for the Trust

· Researching and identifying new sources of grant funding, mapping out funder criteria, guidelines and potential to fund Trust work

· Developing relationships with new and existing funders to encourage increased support by sending regular reports, updates and invitations to events

· Working closely with administration and finance teams to ensure accurate recording of income received

· Recording all correspondence with funders on our database (Charity CRM), for which training will be provided
