About the role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.

 Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users. 
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Experience in using tools like HotJar (preferred).
• Strong analysis skills.

• Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation and time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines and change priorities when needed. 
• Expertise in using and implementing relevant project management methodologies and tools.

Two thirds of the RNLI’s operations are funded from legacies, and we are looking for the right individual to lead the Legacy Income department, ensuring that income is maximised, and all legal requirements are met. You will serve as an ambassador of the RNLI in dealing with banks, executors, solicitors and other charities as well as providing a first-class service to internal departments, executive management, our trustees and volunteers.

We are looking for an excellent people manager with a strong technical background in legacy administration. You will have significant probate experience gained preferably in a charitable environment, be an expert in dealing with contentious matters and will ideally be a member of the Institute of Legacy Management.

This important role will represent FareShare Sussex & Surrey engaging with corporate partners and key stakeholders such as council leaders, politicians and dignitaries across the region.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bid Coordinator to join our Fundraising Team.  Within the team you’d be responsible for generating income from The Door’s fundraising portfolio to meet our budgeted current and future service delivery needs, and specifically for raising income from grants and tender bids.  You’d coordinate the end-to-end process of bid submission, from researching funding opportunities to writing compelling bids to ensuring the timely delivery of reports to funders.

You’ll be an excellent written communicator, with the ability to compose accurate, concise and persuasive prose, strong administrative and relationship management skills, experience of working with budgets and a good eye for detail.  You should have experience of writing successful funding bids and reports.  A detailed understanding of the wider funding environment in the voluntary sector is also highly desirable.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the Trusts and Foundations Executive, you will be responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, through growing a successful grants pipeline and inspiring funders to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. • To co-design and write grant applications and secure grant funding from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate entities in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £400k-£500k).
• To work with the Partnerships Manager to secure Fundraising income from individual givers, major donors, Crowdfunding campaigns and other fundraising initiatives in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £200k).
• To develop and execute an annual fundraising strategy: building a sustainable portfolio consisting of grants and donations from individuals, corporates, trusts and foundations, to ensure long-term sustainable funding of activities.
• To research and prospect future funders.
• To maintain precise and up-to-date records on current and potential supporters and prospects.
• To create engaging fundraising communication tools.
• To establish partnerships for joint programmes and funding bids where beneficial.

Donor stewardship & reporting

• To retain current donors and maximise fundraising opportunities, including delivering a programme of appropriate stewardship opportunities with the core team.
• To work with the team to co-design programmes and their evaluation requirements to ensure the organisation meets the grant funders' requirements. 
• To complete reporting to grant funders, including developing report templates, creating reports, case studies, and other administrative requirements. 

Communications

• To input into MIH’S communications strategy and the planning and implementation of improvements to marketing plans, digital presence and social media strategy to ensure impact and fundraising successes are communicated
• To maintain a stock of impact-focused case studies and success stories and ensure fundraising successes are communicated on social media and online.
• To ensure the robust monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and campaigns; providing key input to the annual report and impact report.
• To coordinate fundraising events with the Community Partnerships Manager. 

Line Management

• To have direct line management responsibility for the Community Partnerships Manager and Social Media & Marketing Manager, creating a supportive environment for growth and development.

Main responsibilities include:

• Create and lead bold and ambitious fundraising and business development strategies, meeting an annual target of £1.5m restricted and £2m unrestricted income, and delivering growth in income earner of £1.2m annually

What do you need to succeed?

• Significant evidenced experience of leading income generation in a voluntary organisation
• Demonstrable experience leading on the development of an income strategy and in identifying and nurturing income opportunities, securing donations and grants in excess of 5-6 figures from individuals, corporate sponsors, and trust funders
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, with excellent networking skills and the ability to liaise and influence at a senior level.
• Experience sitting on an Executive Leadership Team and working closely with other Directors
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at differing seniority
