About the Role

As our Senior Business Development Manager, you will :

• Develop high quality relationships with key donors in Brussels and Europe, collaborating with the wider Business Development Team to build strong networks of support
• Build profile of TRF’s work with key donors and stakeholders in Europe through collaboration with TRF’s Communications team and key technical experts
• Proactively build a pipeline of funding opportunities, led by sector leading research and insight, ensuring prospects are high quality and moving through the stages of the business development process

• Lead bid development for identified funding opportunities by managing a cross team working group to ensure high quality submission of programme narrative, budget and theory of change.

About You

• Track record of income generation in the not for profit sector, with over 10 years’ experience securing high value partnerships from a diverse portfolio of funders

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

 To provide excellent support to the Head of Operations and CEO having full regard to the charity’s objectives and priorities at all times, meeting or exceeding the Charities legal, ethical and moral standards. Lead by example by showing the ability to communicate interpersonal skills, problem solve, decision making and time management.  To ensure that you work effectively in terms of daily operations. A good telephone manner is essential, together with excellent literacy, verbal analytical and IT skills, coupled with the ability to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure. You will need to have proven experience with creating video content, along with excellent knowledge of using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. Carrying out market research, analysing forecasts and performing competitive analysis.

ii. Preparing marketing trend reports.

iii. Supporting the development and execution of The Trust’s marketing and branding strategies.

x. Have excellent communication skills to convey the innovative ideas of The Trust and gauge the need of the audience.

xi. To work closely with the management team to ensure that all the charities goals are met and complete tasks as directed by senior management.

Corporate Partnerships are a key area of growth for Noah’s Ark Fundraising and is pivotal to not just income generation but also brand awareness for the work that we do. The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets.  The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

 · Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk, cyber security breach and fraud

· Support the Board of Trustees in the discharge of their responsibilities for reserves

· Accountability for the three year rolling financial plan of the Charity

· Manage the cash flow of the Charity, ensuring the Charity meets its liabilities as they fall due and implement the Trust’s Savings and Investment Policy and Financial Free Reserves policy.

· Co-ordinate the Charity’s insurance requirements, liaising with insurance brokers to ensure adequate insurance cover is maintained and ensure claims are dealt with

· Accountability for performance to contract and contract review with our external ICT providers

· Overall accountability for the hard and soft facilities annual plan and health and safety compliance supported by the Head of Operations

· Support the implementation of EPOS and accurate and timely financial information on trading

Endometriosis impacts the physical and mental health of 10% of women and those assigned female at birth, from puberty to menopause - although the impact may be felt for life. Yet it’s a disease most people have never heard of, do not understand and currently has no cure. It takes on average, almost nine years to receive a diagnosis in the UK, leaving many living in pain and without answers.

As the UK’s leading charity for all those affected by endometriosis, we’re determined to change this and ensure that everyone gets prompt diagnosis and the best treatment and support. We have big ambitions in our strategy, focused on raising awareness, better supporting those with endometriosis, driving down diagnosis times, and campaigning for improved treatments and access to services, all possible thanks to the incredible efforts and generosity of our supporters. As Partnerships Officer, you will play a central role in managing high-quality relationships with Martingale’s growing network of partners, while also supporting the governance and operational functions of the organisation. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and our existing Partnerships Officer, you will help ensure that funders, supporters, and mission-aligned organisations feel valued, engaged, and recognised for their contribution to Martingale’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the delivery of the partner relations strategy, working with our 40+ partners to effectively build long-term successful relationships. In collaboration with the CEO, you will support new and existing funders, in-kind supporters, partner charities, and Ambassadors, ensuring they feel valued, informed and connected to Martingale’s mission.
