About the role 

As our Head of Product, you’ll: 

• Own and evolve the Medical Technology product portfolio, ensuring alignment with BHF’s Medical and Technology strategies. 
• Lead product strategy and execution across multiple disciplines, and product portfolio. 
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in the Medical Directorate to shape and deliver products that support BHF’s mission and medical objectives. 
• Be responsible for prioritisation, customer value delivery, communication, scheduling, resourcing, and financial oversight across the portfolio.
• Operate as a key member of the Technology Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional leadership under the guidance of the Director of Technology and Chief Technology Officer.

Working arrangements 

Please note This is a 12-month fixed term contract, covering family leave, and we'll be looking for candidates to be able to join us as soon as possible.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

• Proven experience in bi-modal product and portfolio delivery, ideally within a similarly complex organisation.

• Existing Head of knowledge and strong leadership skills, able to manage multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders. 
• Deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies in health and research.

We’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial fundraiser to take our income generation to the next level.

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Fundraising to develop and drive Iswe’s income generation strategy and grow a high-performing fundraising team.

This role is ideal for someone experienced and confident enough to lead the function with minimal oversight, but still eager to be hands-on. You will bring a good understanding of the climate, democracy, and systems change funding landscape, ideally along with existing funder relationships. You’ll be creative and entrepreneurial, with the ability to craft compelling cases for support, develop new income streams, and build the operational systems required to raise and manage funds effectively.

Your goal will be to secure £10 million over the next 3–5 years, and position Iswe for long-term financial sustainability.

You will report to the CEO and will manage a Senior Fundraising Officer, with the opportunity to expand the team over time (e.g. an individual giving lead and a high-net-worth donor lead).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy aligned with Iswe’s organisational goals, including project-specific income generation and unrestricted funding. 

• Identify and pursue diverse fundraising opportunities, with a focus on: 

  • Grant fundraising

  • Institutional partnerships

  • Innovative pooled funding mechanisms

  • Individual giving and public campaigns

  • High-net-worth individuals

  • Revenue-generating partnerships and services

• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights, including risks, opportunities, and performance against targets.

Fundraising Execution

• Lead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of funders, donors, and strategic partners.

• Write and oversee the development of high-quality grant proposals, donor reports, and communications.

• Coordinate funding strategies for individual projects, and support project teams to embed fundraising into their planning and delivery.

• Develop digital strategies and campaigns to support public fundraising and individual giving.

• Build systems to attract and steward high net worth individuals, including prospecting, relationship management, and donor communications.

• Explore and advance business revenue streams such as consultancy offers, corporate sponsorships, or platform-based services.

Team Leadership

• Line-manage a Senior Fundraising Officer, supporting their professional development and accountability.

• Recruit, onboard and manage future team members as needed (e.g. an Individual Giving Manager and High Net Worth Fundraising Lead).

Person Specification

Essential

• Substantial fundraising experience (minimum 5+ years), with a proven track record of raising six to seven-figure income across grantmaking, institutional funders, or major donors.

• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills — with the ability to own a multi-year fundraising roadmap and deliver results with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering fundraising strategies across multiple income streams (e.g. grants, high net worth individuals, public fundraising, or partnerships).

• Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling funding proposals and reports.

• Working knowledge of individual giving strategies, including use of digital tools for donor acquisition and retention.

• Working knowledge of GDPR.

• Understanding of how to build systems and culture to support high net worth individual engagement and income generation.

• Experience speaking and writing knowledgeably about deliberative democracy and multilateralism.

Our experienced, specialist youth workers engage with and support young people, aiming to reduce serious youth violence. We often meet young people at a moment of change and work with them to find a positive way forward.

We provide long-term, holistic support. We consider every aspect of a young person’s life and build support around them.

​​​​​​The Youth Violence Intervention Practitioner role is to be part of the youth work team within Redthread with a primary focus on youth violence interventions in a health care setting. In this role you will be part of the Youth Violence Intervention Programme team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will support young people aged, 11-25 years old, who present to hospital following an incident of violence of for whom them there are concerns around exploitation or extra-familial farm. You will work with the young person in the hospital as well as supporting them post discharge to ensure they have the support in place that they need and want. Other tasks include: 

• Hold a caseload and work with young people in a range of settings, including in A&E and on the wards, in the community, in face-to-face and group contexts, and promote their personal, educational, health and social development through all interactions.
• Assist with the on-going development of the service model to ensure that clients gain the maximum benefit from Redthread’s interventions.
• Ensure information resources such as client forms, databases and contact files are kept fully up-to-date and secure, in line with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and our Confidentiality Policy and Consent Policy. Maintain high quality recording of interventions with young people on our database, Threads, in line with Redthread’s best-practice requirements. (Training will be provided.)
• Collect and record evidence of project outcomes and young people’s achievements, to ensure the completion of monitoring forms and project progress reports as required.
• Maintain a good level of knowledge of the issues around youth violence and Child Exploitation.
• With guidance and support from the Team Leader, develop skills to further your work with the young people.
• Under the direction of the Team Leader, develop an imaginative programme of events, activities and other interventions which support Catch22’s mission.

We are seeking a part time Family Practitioner who will support families with blind and partially sighted children and young people to develop improved wellbeing, resilience, and coping strategies.

This post will cover North Wales, so the ability to visit families and being a car driver with access to your own vehicle is essential. You’ll be part of a remote England and Wales wide Family Practitioner team, who work closely together to draw on each other’s skills and experience to ensure families receive the best service from RSBC. You will work closely with the wider Services team to ensure children, young people and families get all the right services and support they need.

The team link together to run online groups to further support families, and this work may be in the evenings - time can be taken back for this. The team also meet weekly online and come together in person for two-day compulsory team training at our London office at least twice a year. We ask that one of your working days be Wednesday.

The main purpose of this role is to:

· To establish and maintain a case load of families with blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 0 to 25 who identify themselves as needing support.

· To undertake family assessments to identify specific areas of need; to identify and deliver appropriate interventions that will promote children’s development and emotional wellbeing in collaboration with family members and make and support onward referrals as required.

· To ensure that support is high quality and meets the high standard that RSBC sets, with pre agreed performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification that demonstrates the ability to establish a trusting and open relationship with families and CYP. You’ll be experienced in providing emotional wellbeing support with families directly and have knowledge of child development from experience or qualification. About the role:

The Floating Support Worker will specialise in working with women for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a priority. You will provide specialist housing and domestic abuse support to women aged 18 and over. The accommodation needs of the women you support will require you to advocate and support for each woman efficiently and empathically, whilst liaising with providers and stakeholders to ensure her accommodation needs are met. The role is dynamic and requires the post holder to respond to women with effective crisis intervention, advocacy and support. They will be required to coordinate the provision of multiagency support which focuses on working with clients to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. The post holder will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.

The Floating Support Worker will ensure that the women survivors views and needs inform every stage of the process, and so the post holder will be empathic, empowering and able to advocate for women. You will also share your learning with your team, Advance and other stakeholders to ensure best practice is consistently achieved.

Working as part of a team of Floating Support Workers, you will make proactive contact and provide high quality non-judgemental advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment. You will be responsible for a number of women at a time and you will be their designated and consistent support worker. You will also support women and referrers at the first stage of referral by completing assessments and providing crisis intervention support as part of a ‘duty’ team with designated days for you to do this.

The Floating Support Worker will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse and the housing sectors. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information appropriately.

Experience of supporting female survivors of domestic violence with housing and accommodation needs, in partnership with other organisations, and of safeguarding procedures is essential for this post.

· Develop and deliver support plans that include delivery of high-quality face to face or telephone crisis intervention, information, advocacy and support, in respect to criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, children’s legislation and other appropriate interventions. Ensure that focus on safe tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention underpins all work

· Advise women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, making referrals and co-ordinating the provision of multi-agency support where necessary, and proactively advocate ensuring barriers to accessing support and protection are minimised

· Proactively assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have, ensure that any risks/needs identified are addressed directly with the woman, and take appropriate action to safeguard them

· Proactively assess the needs and safety of women at risk proactively following Adult at Risk policies and procedures

· Participate in multi-agency conferences in respect of children and adults at risk as required, providing reports and undertaking actions as necessary

· Ensure all monitoring and evaluation for each woman, all cases and the project overall is accurate and up to date. Work in partnership with your team and the Advance Insights and Evidence team to ensure all reporting requirements are met. Highlight issues and successes in a timely manner

· Ensure that agreed case recording and monitoring systems are kept up to date and secure, and write internal and external reports where required, including for safeguarding conferences, team meetings, managers and other appropriate partners and stakeholders

· Participate in multi-agency working and focus groups when requested to do so and follow through on agreed appropriate actions that arise from these

· Work effectively as a member of your own team and as a team member of Advance supporting all organisational objectives

· Work in partnership with housing staff and provide institutional advocacy to maximise positive outcomes and use the appropriate reporting mechanisms to highlight persistent or recurring issues that arise

· Be responsible for your own personal learning development and keep up to date on research, relevant legislation, policy and practice, and other literature relevant to the role

· Participate in supervision, training and meetings as required, and assist in the development of services in line with agreed development plans
