Diocesan Environment Adviser
Part Time: 14 hours per week.
Salary range: Full Time Equivalent £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata dependent on experience
Actual salary for working 14 hours per week: £11,200 - £12,800.
The Diocese of Chester is seeking to recruit a Diocesan Environment Adviser to this exciting new, part time role. They will work with the newly formed Eco Diocese Group as they inspire, encourage and support individuals, churches and other Christian communities to cherish creation, live responsibly and speak up. In particular, they will enable greater and more effective participation in the Eco Church initiative by individual parishes and deaneries.
The successful candidate will have a developed understanding of a variety of personal, local and political responses to environmental challenges as well as experience of environmental engagement in a local church, school or other organisation.

Role Purpose
This role is focused on maximising comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio, supporting GDI Hub’s growing outreach across project-based deliverables and organisational comms channels (e.g. social media, websites, content generation).
The post holder will work closely across GDI Hub comms team to support delivery across the organisational portfolio – with a focus on key regular outputs, reactive queries and organisational communications. This role will involve both administrative tasks, and creative content generation, at an anticipated volume of 50% per area.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative, communications and digital skills, with a passion for building impact and reach. The candidate will need the experience to deliver public facing comms outputs, while also building personable relationships. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential, as it a streamlined, can-do approach.

This role as Senior Practitioner within our Domestic Abuse services will provide housing advice and advocacy support to LGBTQ+ people who require housing support to leave a domestic abuse situation or require longer-term resettlement. The role will provide direct line management to our specialised domestic abuse case workers delivering our services across PAN London. The mission of Stonewall Housing’s Advice and Advocacy team is to help people understand their rights and navigate their housing options (within the statutory housing system or through private sector resources) in order for them to have somewhere safe to live. Main duties

Liaison with Landlords / Other Agencies
- To support service users to report repairs and work with landlords and advocatewhere necessary.
- To support service users to contact local authorities, and voluntary and privatesector landlords to report anti social behaviour issues and advocate wherenecessary.
- To support service users to present to local authorities as homeless, whereappropriate, and advocate where necessary.
Other duties
- To establish and maintain accurate and complete records in all areas of work.
- To complete statistics for the collation of performance and funding information.
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and regulations in relation tofunders and other key areas.
- To participate in individual and clinical supervision meetings, annual appraisals andtraining.

Job Purpose
As the Head of Fundraising, your primary responsibility is to lead the strategic direction and execution of Village Water’s fundraising efforts, with a focus on diversifying income streams and maximising revenue generation. You will oversee all fundraising activities, particularly in Trusts and Foundations (both UK and International), corporate partnerships, High Value Donors, and statutory bodies. Your role involves crafting compelling funding applications and reports, creating an ambitious fundraising strategy, applying for and securing large multi-year grants from new and existing donors, ensuring exemplary donor stewardship, and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve fundraising goals.
Responsibilities
• Develop and refine a comprehensive fundraising strategy, with a specific emphasis on Trusts and Foundations & corporate fundraising, to ensure a steady pipeline of funding opportunities. The Role
As a Flexible Assistant Park Manager, you will facilitate projects and programmes in one or more of our parks.
Reporting to the Head of Park Operations, you will undertake a wide range of park projects including service, policy and contract development initiatives.

Community Coach
As a member of the Community Team, you will provide vital support to people who have completed our course in prison and are now in the community working to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison.
This is an exciting time to join our Community Team as we look to broaden and deepen the support we offer participants as they leave prison. Oakview is a supported living project for 10 customers with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control for customers, enabling them to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community. Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. This includes providing personal care, domestic duties, emotional and social support in a person centred way. Staff will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
The service is staffed 24/7 and all staff is required to cover at least one sleep in a week.

What you'll do:
- If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
- Participate in the support planning and risk management, as facilitated by the lead Support Worker
- Carry out security duties to ensure the safety of the customers and premises
- Monitor the CCTV throughout the shift
- Enable customers to make full use of community facilities by providing support as directed
- Carry out support duties to enable customers to integrate into the community including e.g. accompanying the customer to attend benefit agency appointments and meetings, go shopping, to enquire at colleges about possible courses, to visit various public amenities
