As CEO, you will lead the strategic and operational development of the Society, with a particular focus on:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation. You’ll manage our Ultra Challenge Series, of whom we are a Series Partner, our Skydiving program and our Berlin Marathon team.

As a Challenge Events Executive, you will leverage your knowledge and utilise data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and shape budget plans. You will be responsible for driving and delivering marketing plans with a focus on email and digital activity, as well as coordinating the production of marketing collateral to ensure excellent supporter experiences and efficient delivery.

You will also work with the Database and Supporter Care teams as well as Challenge Events Assistants to ensure that supporter data is collected and stored efficiently, so that supporters are thanked appropriately, and post-campaign analysis is comprehensive. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. You should possess hands-on experience utilising relationship databases, coupled with an understanding of effective marketing channels, particularly digital.

Additionally, expertise in stewardship techniques will be crucial for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts. You should also have an understanding of how to use insights, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. We champion individual’s voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.

Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.

This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy Role within a Psychiatric Inpatient Setting and have at least 3 years experience of working in an Advocacy Role.

The Trust owns and manages a beautiful Jacobean mansion and 12 acres of gardens situated in historic parkland, along with a wider estate that includes farms, woodland, and the River Stour. The current education programme provides meaningful learning experiences for primary school children, local groups, and adults through workshops. These sessions are delivered on-site, making use of the natural environment, an education centre, Godinton House, and the formal gardens.

The Role

The role will include the following elements:

• Supporting the Head of Learning in organising, preparing, and delivering a wide range of educational sessions, mainly for primary school-aged children.
• Developing and coordinating a new programme of adult educational workshops, utilising the estate's diverse resources and heritage.
• Supporting the Head of Learning with administrative duties, such as completing risk assessments, arranging coach bookings, liaising with local schools and education providers, and preparing resources ahead of educational sessions.

The Education Officer will report directly to the Head of Learning and will collaborate with other members of the staff team involved in delivering the programmes.

The Individual

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and creative individual with the following attributes:

• Previous experience working in an educational environment, preferably with primary school children, and a strong enthusiasm for outdoor learning.
• An understanding or appreciation of the natural environment and a willingness to assist in delivering a programme (supported by key staff and external providers) encompassing natural sustainability, biodiversity, conservation, and horticulture.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with all aspects of the education programme as directed by the Head of Learning.
• Good administration and organisational skills.

The Package

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week. However, applications from exceptional candidates seeking part-time hours would be considered.
• A FTE salary of £27,000 per annum plus pension.
• 33 days' holiday per annum, including bank holidays.
• The position is to start as soon as possible. Working hours are 08.30 to 17.00, Monday to Friday.
• Interviews are to be held on Friday 15th August 2025.

As Trusts & Foundations Lead, you’ll drive the organisation’s strategy to secure major, multi-year funding from trusts and foundations in the UK and Europe. You’ll manage key six and seven-figure relationships and lead your team to secure new high-value grants. This hands-on role combines relationship management, team leadership, and strategic planning to grow and steward a portfolio of funders supporting the charity's mission to end avoidable blindness.

The organisation are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser with a proven track record of securing six-figure grants. You’ll be an inspiring leader, experienced in managing and coaching teams, and confident in writing compelling proposals and building strong relationships with funders. You’ll bring strong analytical and communication skills, a strategic mindset, and ideally, experience in international development or health.

Salary: £48,770 per annum
Contract: Full-time
