Who are we

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, Heartlands Hospital Charity, Good Hope Hospital Charity and Solihull Hospital Charity support the four hospitals managed by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The Role

As Heartlands Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for developing the fundraising and donations across the hospital and wider community, whilst benefiting from the back up of an experienced central team who work across all four hospitals.

Main duties:

  • Be the lead point of contact at Heartlands Hospital
  • Support and develop the Fundraising Team at Heartlands Hospital – the post holder will have several direct reports
  • Support the delivery of the Charity’s fundraising strategy
  • Recruit, manage and develop supporters to achieve agreed income targets

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser looking to move into a management role, or a fundraising manager looking for an exciting opportunity at a hospital charity. Previous fundraising experience is required for the role.

The role will involve lots of face to face fundraising so would suit someone who is confident talking about the Charity to a variety of audiences. It will also involve occasional evening and weekend work at charity events and events organised by our supporters.

As Heartlands Fundraising Manager you will primarily be based on site at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham, with occasional travel to other hospital sites and off site to attend meetings and events.
