About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a team of driven and professional fundraisers who share a broad range of fundraising experiences. We are looking for an experienced fundraising manager to join our established and well performing Trusts and Foundations team. The role will generate funds across our Farming and Land Use, Healthy Sustainable Foods and Policy work; managing accounts, building relationships and working to ambitious income targets.

The fundraising directorate are a close-knit team who enjoy coming together to celebrate successes, identify opportunities and explore new approaches. The team can explore and experience the impact of Soil Association’s work through working closely with expert colleagues, lunch and learn webinars and project visits.

About You

You will have significant experience of trusts and foundations fundraising including securing grants of up to 6 figures, matching opportunities to organisational need and pro-actively managing funder relationships.

You will be skilled in prospect research, opportunity scanning, using tools to record and monitor fundraising applications, and writing compelling applications and impact driven reports.

You will be passionate about the natural environment (whether that’s through an interest in wildlife or knowledge about food and farming) and be empathetic towards the Soil Association’s vision for regeneration.

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to lead a team of staff for our outreach service in Cannock which provides support for people with a learning disability and who may have other support needs. All our services are individualised, person centred and deliver valued outcomes for people, as we passionately believe that the people we support have the right to lives that are meaningful that also enables them to reach their full potential as individuals.

As a Team Leader you will assist the Area Manager and the rest of the senior team, to ensure that the service is of the highest quality, meeting all CQC standards and contract requirements. You will ensure that the service works in a cohesive and coordinated manner and that service users experience fully integrated care, support and housing. You will ensure that the care and support delivered is personalized and provided in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling service users to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life and community connections. Your work will be a mixture of doing shifts on the rota and management days and you will be required to work across the entire week, including evenings and weekends.

A minimum of two years managerial experience and prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability and a forensic history and/or autism who have complex needs is essential. You will also have relevant experience in implementing Positive Behavioral Support and positive risk management approaches. About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain buildings and facilities to ensure high standards.

About the National Memorial Arboretum

Barnardo's Kickstart Futures Service; Floating Support for Care Leavers in Sutton.

Barnardo's, in partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, is providing a floating support service for Care Leavers with low to medium levels of support needs.

The service provides floating support to Young People across a range of properties located within the borough of Sutton, as well as a small number of Young People based elsewhere in the community, mainly around The London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring boroughs.

Some residents are Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People (UASYP), or survivors of Human Trafficking, who are over the age of 18.

The service delivers key work support to each Young Person on an individual basis and additional group work sessions for property residents. Key work sessions are scheduled in collaboration with the Young Person. Key work hours will be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of the Young People and include regular evenings and weekends in order to fit around college and/or work schedules for Young People who are engaged in Education, Employment or Training.

We are now seeking to recruit new project workers, with experience of working with Care Leavers, to help us grow this exciting new service. We would welcome applications for as and when part time workers.

Role Summary

The main function of the School Engagement Coordinator role is to

• The School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland serves as a crucial liaison for the Into Film programme in the region. This role involves actively engaging with schools and educators to promote and support their participation in various initiatives related to film, games, and creative media.

• Proactively engage with schools, teachers, and educational stakeholders across Northern Ireland to raise awareness of Into Film's programmes and resources.
• Deliver a range of educational activities, including school workshops, screenings and industry events, tailored to the needs of the local area.

A mission-driven and impact focused single programme NGO is seeking an Interim Finance Director for a 1 year maternity cover contract. The role is fully remote (from within the UK) and is full-time (5 days per week) for a 12 month contract. There may be the requirement to travel to Ghana on occasion throughout the 12 months. The organisation’s mission is to get 3-6 year old children in rural Africa to thrive.  They have developed an award-winning Early Childhood Development programme, proven its impact through rigorous evaluation, and scaled it with governments in both Ghana and Uganda. With around 100 staff globally, the interim Finance Director will manage a diverse team of finance professionals. Your role will include setting and managing budgets, supporting fundraising strategy and proposals, overseeing spend and financial controls and processes.  You will lead the finance team in Ghana made up of a Junior Finance Manager, four Finance Officers, two bookkeepers and a Procurement and Logistics Officer.  You will also manage the Uganda Finance Officer, and Global Finance Manager based in the UK.

The role will involve a mixture of hands-on accounting, complex donor reporting, consolidated and year-end accounts, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and financial modelling. Xero is used across the organisation, and financial year-end is December.

Duties include:

· Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s scale and income-generation strategy, including exciting new opportunities for potential expansion to the southern regions in Ghana and exploring implementation of the programme in a new country.

· Develop and strengthen robust and flexible cost models (including sensitivity analyses/stress testing) to guide decisions around the pace and rate of scale, staffing & resource requirements, ensure value for money and maximise cost efficiencies.

· Develop robust budgets for new and renewal funder applications, considering complexities around funder restrictions, currency exchange and forecast economic conditions.

· Ensure that the organisation-wide financial systems, policies, procedures and internal controls and audits are robust, compliant and best practice to support current activities and future growth.

· Be pro-active in identifying ways to improve efficiencies and strengthen financial rigour, including leading on internal projects to enhance systems and processes to automate approvals and develop cost recovery models as we look to expand our operations outside Ghana and Uganda.

· Provide monthly and quarterly management accounts for trustees summarising current and forecast financial position for the year, cashflow analysis and KPI reporting.

· Attend trustee meetings, present information to the Board and liaise with Board members, including leading the quarterly Finance and Audit Committee meetings.

· Ensure that the Statutory Accounts for all entities are prepared, including internal information is collated and provided, external auditors are instructed and deliver to standard.
