About the role
Line managed by the Support Services Manager, the Digital Community Officer will deliver key strategic activities that will improve engagement and create sustainable, moderated communities. This will be achieved through engaging with and supporting a diverse team of volunteer moderators and providing ongoing training to ensure the community remains a welcoming, safe space. This role is matrix managed by the Innovation Manager for Strategic Programmes who will support with, and build capacity for, the technical, data and integration aspects of the community platform.
About you

- Experience of delivering peer-to-peer services or moderating an online forum.

As Research Contracts Manager, you will play a vital role in the delivery of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s growing research portfolio. You will lead on the financial and contractual aspects of our research funding processes. You will help ensure our funding is administered responsibly, efficiently, and in a way that maximises impact for people affected by dementia. This role sits within the Research Directorate, an ambitious, supportive and friendly team, and working closely with colleagues across Finance and Fundraising,
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Research award financial oversight
· Manage and develop the post-award lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ARUK’s funding policies and funding conditions, whilst reducing administrative burden.
· Act as a primary point of contact for host institutions on post-award matters, including financial management, reconciliation and contractual issues.
· Maintain systems to track financial data associated with funded grants, providing information to internal teams and act as the primary contact for all questions related to award finances.
· Collaborate with the Research Manager, Finance team and Research Leadership team to maintain robust grant forecasting and budget control across research programmes.
· Be a Subject Matter Expert for the Grants Management system and maintain accurate grant records and ensure internal and external stakeholders have access to accurate data.
· Provide advice and training on financial best practices to internal teams.
· Implement, oversee and refine a grants audit approach.
Research contracts and agreements
· Lead the drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of all research-related awards and contracts, including funding agreements, collaboration agreements, and data agreements.
· Develop and maintain templates and a database of executed agreements.
· Liaise with host institutions, collaborating organisations, and legal advisors to resolve contractual queries and ensure efficient processing.
· Work in partnership with internal legal counsel and DPO, ensure contracts are consistent with ARUK’s policies, funder requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Research policy and process development
· Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ARUK’s research finance, grant cost and contracts policies, ensuring they remain aligned with best practice, proportionate and compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.
· Support the development and roll-out of new funding schemes by advising on financial models and contract terms.
· Represent ARUK at relevant sector forums, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in research funding and compliance.
· Champion the implementation of the new Grants Management system across the organisation.
Management Responsibilities
· Manage, coach and develop of a Research Executive, effectively delegating work to support delivery of their objectives.
· Work to promote an inspiring team culture across the Research Funding team where personal development is prioritised.
What we are looking for:
· Significant experience in research finance and/or research contract management, ideally within a medical research funder, university, NHS, or research setting.
· Sound knowledge of research funding frameworks, budgeting principles, and financial governance.
· Experience drafting and negotiating research-related agreements, with a good understanding of IP, data sharing, and collaboration issues.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and diplomatically.
· Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and identifying risks

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
Job Purpose:
The Diversion Project Worker will engage with women referred through both formal and informal Liaison & Diversion (L&D) routes. Formal routes include police, courts, and other legal channels, while informal routes will focus on identifying women at greatest risk of offending. This role is designed to offer early intervention, providing structured, person-centred, and goal-focused support to provide 1:1 support, to help meet women’s immediate needs and to support them to prepare for a brighter future. From signposting and working in partnership with other grassroots organisations, to delivering group workshops and 1:1 support on topics such as mental health and wellbeing, domestic abuse, training and skills development, finance, debt and benefits.

- Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive support to women in contact with, or at risk of contact with the criminal justice system.

About the role
We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to sign up to our range of challenge events (e.g. marathons etc.) You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and involved in many aspects of our work but focusing on filling and retaining places for our challenge events.
This is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events.

The Role
Oversee and manage the implementation of a developing and ambitious individual giving programme that seeks to engage more arts lovers, recruits new donors (including regular givers), and retains and develops existing supporters.
Manage direct reports and teams responsible for individual/regular/in memory giving, community fundraising, supporter engagement, and trading income, promoting a culture of collaboration.
Maximise the use of digital engagement and fundraising opportunities to test concepts & messaging.
Report on appeals, campaigns, supporter journeys and other individual giving plans to provide insight on which plans can be optimised to deliver the best results.
The Candidate
Strong experience of delivering fundraising work plans to achieve against set income targets across all areas of responsibility (i.e., public donations, member schemes, community fundraising).
Significant experience of effective line-management and of managing fundraising teams.
Experience of donor audiences, supporter journeys and fundraising programme insight to take an audience-led approach to delivering fundraising campaigns.
Experience of digital and direct marketing strategy to improve engagement and deliver income targets.

We are currently looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to develop, coordinate and deliver the charity’s fundraising events and orchestrate experiences from initial concept to post event analysis. This includes pre-event planning and development, concept development and proposal.
Working closely with the Head of Capital Appeal and Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will design and deliver events which steward and develop key contacts as part of our Capital Appeal.
The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team. You will be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks.
35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
