About the role
The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.
Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.
You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.
You will develop compelling partnership propositions, lead applications and pitches, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities that deliver sustainable income alongside wider value for Stonewall Housing and the LGBTQ+ communities we support.
Alongside your focus on corporate income, you will work across Stonewall Housing’s wider fundraising portfolio, contributing to the development and growth of individual giving, major donor fundraising, community fundraising and other voluntary income streams. You will identify opportunities for different areas of fundraising to complement one another and create meaningful pathways for supporters to deepen their relationship with Stonewall Housing.
This is a senior role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on income generation. You will be as comfortable developing an income strategy and managing a pipeline as you are writing an application to a corporate foundation, pitching a partnership, meeting a prospective supporter or developing a new fundraising opportunity.
Working closely with the Director of Development and colleagues across Stonewall Housing, you will help translate our services, impact and ambitions into compelling opportunities for funders, businesses, partners and supporters.
As this is a new role, you will have a significant opportunity to shape our approach, develop new income streams and build the systems, relationships and opportunities needed to support Stonewall Housing’s long-term sustainability and national impact.
Key responsibilities
Corporate giving and partnerships
Lead the development and delivery of ambitious plans to grow and diversify Stonewall Housing’s corporate income across the UK.
Generate income through corporate partnerships, corporate giving, Charity of the Year relationships, commercial partnerships, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship and other forms of business engagement.
Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of prospective corporate supporters and partners.
Research, identify and pursue new corporate fundraising opportunities that align with Stonewall Housing’s mission, values and strategic priorities.
Secure new high-value and multi-year corporate partnerships that generate sustainable income and wider strategic value.
Develop compelling and tailored partnership propositions that connect corporate priorities with Stonewall Housing’s services, impact and ambitions.
Lead approaches, applications, pitches, presentations and negotiations with prospective corporate partners.
Identify and submit high-quality applications to corporate foundations, corporate grant programmes and other business-led funding opportunities.
Develop and submit strong Charity of the Year applications, pitches and presentations, supporting employee voting and engagement where required.
Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, corporate social impact and sustainability teams, corporate foundations, LGBTQ+ employee networks, employee resource groups and other key decision-makers.

Develop opportunities for employees to support Stonewall Housing through fundraising, payroll giving, matched giving, challenge events, volunteering and other forms of engagement.
Work with corporate partners to develop engaging fundraising activities and campaigns that inspire employee participation and generate meaningful income.
Build strong, long-term relationships with existing corporate partners, identifying opportunities for renewal, increased investment and deeper engagement.
Provide high-quality stewardship, communications and impact reporting that demonstrate the difference partners’ support makes.
Work closely with colleagues to create meaningful opportunities for corporate partners and their employees to engage with Stonewall Housing’s work.
Ensure volunteering, pro bono support and gifts in kind are developed as part of wider strategic relationships and, where appropriate, create pathways towards sustainable financial support.
Represent Stonewall Housing at corporate events, networking opportunities, conferences, pitches and sector forums.
Ensure prospective partnerships are subject to appropriate due diligence and align with Stonewall Housing’s values, ethical fundraising principles and commitment to LGBTQ+ communities.
Individual giving and wider fundraising
Work across Stonewall Housing’s wider voluntary income portfolio to support the growth and diversification of sustainable income.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Development team, develop and deliver plans to grow income from individual supporters, including regular giving, one-off donations, fundraising appeals and digital giving.
Develop engaging supporter journeys that strengthen acquisition, engagement, retention and long-term support.
Develop fundraising products, campaigns and activities that are accessible, engaging and capable of generating sustainable income.
Identify opportunities to connect corporate engagement with individual giving, including employee donations, payroll giving, matched funding and workplace fundraising.
Use supporter insight and fundraising data to improve engagement, retention and long-term value.
Explore new and emerging income opportunities where these align with Stonewall Housing’s values, strategic priorities and organisational capacity.
Income strategy and development
Work with the Director of Development to develop and deliver Stonewall Housing’s multi-year income generation strategy.

Essential experience
Significant experience of working in a senior fundraising, income generation, development, partnerships or business development role, with responsibility for generating income and delivering against agreed targets.
A strong track record of securing and growing income from corporate partners, businesses or other external organisations.
Demonstrable experience of developing successful corporate relationships, from identifying and approaching prospective partners through to securing, managing and growing partnerships.

We’re looking for a confident and compassionate LGBTQ+ Project Worker to join our supported housing team working across Brighton and Eastbourne.
This isn’t just a support role, it’s a frontline position that requires emotional resilience, excellent communication skills, and a grounded understanding of what it means to work in a supported housing environment. The people we work with often face intersecting challenges including mental health, trauma, identity-based discrimination, and housing insecurity. Your job will be to help them navigate these realities and move toward independent living with dignity, strength, and stability.
You’ll need to thrive in a role where no two days are the same. From conversations around rent and cleaning routines to complex safeguarding issues or mental health disclosures, you’ll be expected to step in calmly and confidently, without shying away from challenge.
We’re seeking someone who builds positive working relationships with both residents and housing providers, can adapt to rapidly changing needs, and brings clarity, kindness, and consistency to their work no matter what’s going on that day.
While this role is based in Brighton, we operate as one team across both Eastbourne and Brighton. From time to time, you may be expected to provide cover at our Eastbourne accommodation when needed.
The advertised salary includes London Weighting. As such, you will be responsible for covering the cost of travel to London for our monthly all-staff meetings. If additional travel to London is required as part of your role, these costs will also need to be covered by you.
Key Responsibilities
· To provide a high quality, flexible and responsive support service to LGBTQ+ people, supporting them for independent living or suitable alternative housing through the provision of 1-1 support sessions and group work.
· To assess the individual needs of each person and provide a bespoke support plan.
· To ensure that effective service user participation mechanisms are in place.
· To ensure a high level of customer care and practice at all times.
· To develop links with relevant external agencies.
Main Duties of the Post
Support Sessions
· To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our supported accommodation service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.
· To meet service users regularly to provide structured support, in relation to LGBTQ+ and Housing specific issues, such as gender identity pathways, mental health services, health issues, safeguarding, liaising with the professional network.
· To work with LGBTQ+ people accessing supported accommodation to develop and review individual support plans and risk assessments.
· To liaise with other service providers ensuring service users receive the necessary support to sustain their accommodation, acquire relevant independent living skills, maintain or improve positive physical and mental health and access into meaningful occupation of their time.
Financial Support
· To assist service users in maximising and managing their income including universal credit, ESA, PIP and Housing Benefit.
Semi-independent Living Support
· To work with service users to enable them to develop the life and social skills necessary to sustain their accommodation and prepare them for independent living.
· To assess individual service user’s suitability for independent accommodation.
· To act quickly to manage incidents and to advise, support and assist service users unable to maintain supported accommodation into more appropriate housing options.
Resettlement
· To support service users in the completion of application forms necessary to support move-on housing, including the private rented sector.
· To ensure that all service users are provided with information about local services whilst in supported accommodation and during their move on.
· To ensure all service users are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities in their home.
· To work with housing providers, both public and private, to negotiate move on options.
Groupwork, Consultation and Participation
· To work as part of a team in developing user participation.
· To identify and develop appropriate and flexible processes for consulting with our service users, via social media platforms, newsletters, events and workshops.
· To devise innovative and creative ways of involving LGBTQ+ people in the running of the schemes with an independent approach.
· Supporting our residents to participate in group and peer support and to access online support mechanisms.
· Facilitating and promoting an LGBTQ+ group work programme.
Other Duties
· To establish and maintain accurate and complete records in all areas of work.
· To complete statistics for the collation of performance and funding information.

About the job
The role of Families Project Worker involves supporting a caseload of families living in temporary accommodation. The role requires a combination of specialist knowledge and excellent relationship building skills to support residents with varying degrees of mental health and trauma related issues to engage with appropriate support, improve their experience of temporary accommodation and to access suitable housing solutions.
The role is dependent on excellent communication and joint working with colleagues and a variety of partners and professionals; including the NHS, Probation Service, local council services and other third sector organisations.
The role requires a high degree of motivation to support complex and vulnerable people, often in a lone-working situation. With a passion to work collaboratively with others for the good of our service users, and with some experience of working in a related field in a voluntary or paid capacity.
A high degree of emotional intelligence is required to support service users, many of whom have complex emotional needs, with backgrounds of trauma, neglect, abuse, crime and low self-worth. A role of this nature will experience a range of emotions from joy to grief and as such requires a high degree of resilience to cope with the emotional demands of the role.
Making decisions, “in the moment” to do the right thing to mitigate risk with service users can place high emotional demands on the job holder. The role is highly reactive, unpredictable and at times, chaotic. The role therefore requires a high degree of self-awareness to one’s own resilience levels and exercising appropriate levels of self-care.

Single Homeless Project's (SHP’s) Camden Housing First service is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Project Worker to join an innovative team supporting people with long histories of rough sleeping, multiple exclusion and co-occurring needs. This includes a new and important focus on supporting couples who have been rough sleeping and will be accommodated separately in their own self-contained flats, while receiving intensive, relational and trauma-informed support.

Housing Interventions Worker - Custody based - HMP Swansea and HMP Parc

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Locality Manager (Customer and Neighbourhoods) to lead the delivery of proactive and customer centric services. Based from our office in Bristol, you will lead a team of Officers who are responsible for tenancy and neighbourhood management in a Locality that covers, Bristol and Gloucester. You'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid approach, spending two days in the office a week. You'll need to travel across our geography when required so you should be happy to travel and have access to transport.
The Role
Reporting into one of our Regional Directors of Localities, you'll manage a team of up to 12 people across your locality, including Locality Officers, and Anti-Social Behaviour Officers. You'll set direction within the team by being clear on expectations, role modelling our values and supporting team and individual performance through robust feedback. You'll ensure that teams work together to deliver the right outcome for our customers in a safe and timely way.Responsibilities include:
Being visible and present as a leader within the team, demonstrating professionalism and confidence and developing a high performing and well supported team
Leading on all strategic and operational elements of service delivery across your locality with focus on customer, lease and tenancy management to enable customers to sustain their tenancy
Working collaboratively with Locality Managers (Property Services) and cross functional senior leaders to deliver the Corporate Plan and Customer Vision
Developing productive relationships with local stakeholders built on trust, respect, and a joint interest in improving the lives of our residents and communities, with a specific focus on Local Authority partners, statutory agencies, and elected members within a locality
Developing and maintaining a digital presence within localities, actively broadcasting community messaging and by hearing our customers voice, develop innovative solutions to build community ownership
Securing social impact benefits into the locality that create opportunity and improvements for our places; actively lead locality resident engagement activities to facilitate the co-creation of service as required
Collaboratively develop, set, and monitor challenging targets for key business services that meet agreed performance, service and financial standards ensuring customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness and value for money
What you'll need
You should have experience in a similar senior role, delivering tenancy management and neighbourhoods services to customers cross tenure. You'll need to demonstrate experience of managing a multi-disciplinary customer focused team in a large and complex organisation with demonstrable knowledge of performance improvement. You'll have a high level of technical tenancy and neighbourhood management expertise. You'll also need:
Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service
The ability to effectively manage and lead a team; inspiring, supporting and developing them to optimise their performance
A track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment
Strong people skills and you'll be an effective communicator, with the ability to influence and challenge
Evidence of excellent customer service achievements in a complex delivery environment
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Membership of a professional body - CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing) or equivalent or working towards this is preferred
