About the role
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. With support from the Farm’s Director, who is an experienced fundraiser, you will develop and implement the fundraising strategy for the Farm, leading on the delivery of key activities, initiatives and opportunities.
You will confidently take on the leadership of the Farm’s well-established fundraising from trusts and foundations, growing our unrestricted income base and attracting multi-year funding to support our projects. Your experience will also enable you to take the lead on establishing a new individual giving programme for the Farm, creating and implementing a stewardship strategy alongside the Marketing, Events & Communications Operational Manager. We anticipate that the postholder will spend 75% of their time managing and growing our existing trusts and foundations portfolio and 25% on building a new individual giving programme. We are looking for someone with experience (or demonstrable transferable skills and knowledge) and a willingness to work on both areas.
As a member of the Farm’s Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Director and Operational Managers to ensure that our fundraising strategy enables us to deliver against our objectives, as well as supporting project managers and other staff to contribute to the development of relevant fundraising opportunities.

The Central Service Coordinator will ensure Gaddum delivers its organisational objectives by coordinating efficient and effective Human Resources, People and Central workstreams.

The Operations and Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the ISG, overseeing both organisational operations and marketing efforts. This role will primarily sit within our Capacity Building and Standards (CB&S) function but will work closely with our Innovation and Practice (I&P) and Advocacy and Communications (A&C) functions.
The CB&S function aims to build capacity both inside and outside of public institutions to embed the processes, skills, structures and cultures needed for effective public participation in decision-making. The I&P function is responsible for the deliberative, dialogic and participatory projects and processes that we run. The A&C function aims to build political and public understanding of and support for making participation and deliberation an everyday, integral part of our democracy.
This role will have a thematic focus on public engagement in decision-making within the science, technology and data sectors. Candidates do not need an educational or work background in this sector, although it would be useful, but we would expect the successful candidate to take a keen interest in these topics.

Science and tech represent policy areas where citizen engagement on both principles and practice is vital and where public engagement can also open the door to broader deliberative democratic interventions and feedback loops. About this job
Please note this is a part-time role 3 days/or 21 hours per week (Fridays must be worked but the other 2 days per week are flexible). The role is initially for an 18 months fixed term contract.
As a key member of our Services and Support team, you’ll be working with MS Society volunteer groups that provide transport services to their members and/or own property. You’ll also be supporting members of the Customer Services team to help them fulfill their health and safety responsibilities within each of the MS Society’s offices. This role includes travel across the UK to provide support and/ or training as required.
You’ll be working with our external auditors to manage the audit process, monitor and record compliance with the ‘MS Society Health and Safety risk management framework’ on property and transport and ensure materials in the framework are consistently and effectively used.
We’re looking for the successful candidate to have:
- A NEBOSH National General Certificate
- Trained Display Screen Assessment Assessor
- Be a Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
- Experience of working with in house Health and Safety systems that cover risk areas associated with a volunteer group network.

- An in-depth up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices, particularly as these relate to the voluntary sector.
- Experience of transport for people of all abilities run by the voluntary sector with a working knowledge of the related legislation.

- A working knowledge of DSE requirements and how to assess and apply them in a practical way.

People living with Parkinson's need to have their voice heard in Scotland to ensure their health and care needs are met. Following an investment in our services, support and work with the NHS, we are also expanding our campaigning and policy work across Scotland and the rest of the UK.
We’re looking for someone special with experience of campaigning, including an understanding of its basic tools and techniques, experience of interpreting complex policy issues for a public audience, and knowledge of the Scottish political and public policy landscape.
About the role
You’ll support our national and local campaigning work across Scotland to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s and those closest to them. As part of our dynamic and committed Scotland team, you’ll listen to the needs of our local communities and work with colleagues across the charity to deliver focussed political campaigning work.
You’ll work with our community to raise awareness and increase knowledge about Parkinson’s with decision makers at a local and national level. You’ll use your knowledge of public policy in Scotland and the UK to make sure that the voices of people with Parkinson’s, their partners, family members and friends are heard, and help to drive changes that improve their lives.

What’s the job?
We need someone with high quality research and data analysis skills to join us as our Research and Evidence Manager. You will work with us to plan, design and deliver projects with cross-sector stakeholders, as well as developing reports and other ways to share our findings with members and the wider sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that we deliver on our ambition to drive a learning culture, where shared data, intelligence and insight leads to better decision-making. We’ve just committed to a really exciting and crucial piece of research taking place over the next year, where we will work with funders and equity partners to map the current state of funding for equity and justice infrastructure. This will initially focus on London, before we take the approach to cover England and Wales. The work will be used to inform discussions with funders on the strategic development of funding approaches in this critical space. You’ll be leading on the research and developing the workplan in a collaborative approach with our partners.
Alongside this project, your work will explore other aspects of the funding landscape in London and gather insights from across our membership. You’ll work on reports to support our range of thematic networks, and generate new evidence to help inform the work of funders and our partners across sectors. We’re looking for someone who thrives working as part of a small team, as well as working independently, who will suggest solutions to challenges and use their initiative. Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate would be someone who has experience of running multiple research projects at once with strong project management skills, and direct experience designing and leading both qualitative and quantitative projects. You’ll also need to be able to work with different stakeholders to both co-design research approaches as well as facilitate their engagement in helping us learn from and make sense of the findings. As such you will need a track record of building relationships in a range of contexts and producing and communicating research outputs in a range of different and accessible formats, including presenting to external audiences.

The salary is £36,400 per year (or pro rata if you choose part-time) and is a fixed term contract for one year, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The BNSSG Mental Health Alliance is a network of over 20 Voluntary, Community and
Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations based across the Bristol, North Somerset and South
Glos (BNSSG) regions, working collaboratively to deliver a range of psychological
interventions for our communities. Commissioned by the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to
work alongside the statutory sector, our aim is to offer holistic and inclusive support for
people experiencing a range of challenges to their mental health including depression,
anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, perinatal mental health. As part of this, the VCSE Mental
Health Alliance recently received funding from the ICB to undertake a review of
psychological therapies within BNSSG, seeking to better align the VCSE and statutory
services in keeping with the new Community Mental Health Framework.
We are now seeking to recruit two part-time Project Coordinators to help us develop this
project over the next 10 months.
About the Project
There is a lack of accessible psychological therapy provision across Bristol, North Somerset,
and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) leading to gaps in service, some people not accessing
services or waiting a long time to be seen. This is particularly true for people who have
‘complex’ trauma presentations, experience multiple barriers to accessing services and/ or
require evidenced based and trauma informed interventions to address their needs.
Much of the therapy that people access in Primary Care outside of NHS Talking Therapies
and Secondary Care, is provided in the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE)
sector, by specialist charitable organisations. This therapy is unevenly distributed across the
six localities in BNSSG.
Womankind completed Phase 1 with a comprehensive report on VCSE talking therapies
provision, (January 2024).
Bristol Mind and Womankind are members of the VCSE Mental Health Alliance and are
leading on Phase 2 of the project.
Job purpose and responsibilities
To reach and represent our diverse membership, we are recruiting two part-time Project
Coordinator posts who will work collaboratively to plan and deliver activities. Project
Coordinators will be managed separately by our organisations.
The Project Coordinator(s) will be responsible for the successful delivery of Phase 2 of the
project and will work in collaboration with key stakeholders to support the re-design of a new,
integrated model of care that will optimise psychological therapies provision for the people of
BNSSG.
Role Description
1. To work in collaboration with key stakeholders.
2. To collate referral and signposting data between statutory & VCSE Psychological
Therapies services, tracking service-user journeys and gaps in provision.
3. To undertake targeted ‘deep dive’ consultations with evidence-based VCSE
Psychological Therapies providers (121 and group), drawing out information on
numbers/ sessions, waiting lists/times, geography, presenting issues, equity-based
offers, service and clinical outcomes.
4. To work closely with Lived Experience groups to identify key system blocks and

ABOUT THE ROLE
EVAW’s public affairs officer will help persuade policy makers and stakeholders to prioritise tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) and develop policy and practice that is effective, inclusive and rooted in equalities and human rights.
Typical tasks for this job might include reviewing and synthesising political speeches and debates, drafting briefings for MPs and other stakeholders and supporting with the organisation of stakeholder events such as parliamentary and party conference meetings.
Candidates are likely to have some experience in public affairs or policy work on VAWG or a related field connected to social justice, human rights and equalities. and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.

The Role
This is a newly created opportunity for you to support all aspects of bid writing, grant applications, and responding to tenders at Best Beginnings. This will include collaborating with colleagues and partners to develop and execute engaging applications to a range of funders to support our work.
You will be a confident writer, able to communicate the value of our work clearly and succinctly, ideally with previous experience writing and/or assisting with grant and bid proposals. Experience in the charity sector is not essential but highly desired.
Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will focus on identifying new funding opportunities, planning approaches, gathering information, and writing high quality, compelling applications, to generate additional income for us to further develop our services.
You will also be identifying appropriate funding sources for organisations we support, providing them with guidance on writing high quality applications, planning their year, and developing a suite of resources with the communications team to enable this.
You will need experience of writing content and developing applications to large and small funding bodies. You will be able to evidence securing income and be skilled in presenting complex project information in a clear and engaging way.
