We are excited to be re-launching our Give it a Go programme, which offers one-off events and activities designed to help our diverse student body build connections and feel settled. Give It A Go (GIAG) is a programme of events open to all students at the University of Kent with the aim to provide a variety of activities for a broad range of students to try out. These could be craft sessions, sports, trips off campus and much more, we want to help students make connections, encouraging belonging, try something new, meet new people and develop their skills.

We also want to enhance the events we deliver for university open days and offer holder days to showcase why students should choose Kent. As a result, we are seeking someone who is innovative, creative, and experienced in delivering events—someone who is proactive, able to work independently, and confident collaborating across departments.

The postholder will be part of a flexible and dynamic team and will be required to work weekends and evenings as necessary to support open days and other events. They must therefore be adaptable and flexible in their approach to working hours.

Kent Students’ Union operates a range of services for students at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent, including retail shops, a bar, a café, a nightclub, and a children’s nursery.

What you will be doing:

• To oversee and co-ordinate our Give it a Go Programme, ensuring a variety of safe, inclusive and engaging events, trips and opportunities are delivered across the year. Day to day activities might include planning, setting up and delivering events through a small student staff team, liaising with our marketing department to promote the programme, monitoring attendance, seeking student feedback and completing risk assessments and ensuring the safety of attendees.
• To co-ordinate our presence at Arrivals Weekend and deliver a series of events as part of Welcome Week including supporting the delivery of Welcome Fair.
• To co-ordinate Kent Student Union’s presence at University Open Days and Offer Holder Days held on Saturdays, ensuring they are staffed, interactive and showcase Kent Students’ Union’s impact on the student experience to prospective students.
• To support the delivery of wider KSU events as and when required such as Summerball.
• This role involves regular manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving items. Training, guidance, and appropriate equipment will be provided. Candidates must be able to perform these duties safely, with reasonable adjustments considered where applicable.

The Ethical Property Foundation (“EPF”) is unique: the UK’s only dedicated property advice charity for the voluntary sector. Since 2015, we have been the lead referral partner to the Charity Commission for land & property advice and preferred supplier to the Lloyds Bank Foundation.

We employ four part-time employees: the CEO, Head of Property Services, Operations Manager, and Administrator - 2.45FTE, supported by a further nine self-employed Associates and Volunteers of whom eight are chartered surveyors.  JOB DESCRIPTION

The Head of Property Advisory is the lead member of the Property Advice Team comprising Associate Property Advisors. The team is supported by The Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals. The Property Advice Team provides advice, consultancy and educational services. This service is delivered by providing on-line information, free helpdesk guidance, training events and consultancy projects to assist organisations in making informed property decisions. The Head of Property Services will have the following key areas of activity and responsibility:

1. Developing the Affordable Consultancy  

The Head of Property Services leads on all aspects of building our affordable consultancy and delivers sales income in line with agreed targets. This will include:  

· Identifying potential clients and proactively seeking opportunities to bid for work.

· Responding to enquiries from potential clients, conducting initial meetings to ascertain support required and putting together carefully priced proposals tailored to client needs.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, including Lloyds Bank Foundation.

· Tracking of enquiries and work in progress with support from the Operations Manager; ensuring accurate records are maintained and providing information and reports to the CEO and Trustees for invoicing and fundraising purposes.

·  Developing new products for the charity sector, making the EPF relevant and providing new and growing income streams.

· Ensuring EPF communication channels appropriately promote our services.

2. Management of Property Advice Team 

The Head of Property Services directly line-manages the Associates in delivery of the Affordable Consultancy:  

·  Developing and maintaining appropriate processes and templates for development and delivery of work.  Disseminating as necessary and ensuring processes followed by team members.

·  Oversight of all support, advice and training provided by the team to ensure consistent high levels of content quality and customer care are maintained.

· Oversight of the free Property Advice Service, co-ordinating with the Property Advisors running the service and responding to enquires who may require affordable consultancy services.

· Ensuring consultancy projects are allocated to team members with appropriate knowledge, experiences and availability. 

· Developing excellent working relationships with members of our Register of Property Professionals to introduce charities for effective support. 

· Delivering excellent customer care by coordinating the Foundation’s support to charities until their project is resolved.

· Supporting the team to ensure property materials for training and online guidance are accurate and appropriate.

3. Additional duties may include:  

· Representing the Foundation and presenting at external events.

· Working proactively to ensure that the Property Advice Team remains up to date with property and charity sector knowledge.

· Develop a broad knowledge of complementary organisations and services that can provide support to enquirers to the Property Advice Service, or opportunities for partnership working or collaboration with the Foundation.

You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will work with residents to create tailored support plans, identify their needs, goals, and skills, and motivate them to reach their potential. You will encourage engagement in activities and the community, provide tools for life skills, and ensure effective risk management with a strong focus on public protection.

About the role:

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research like the National Centre for Accessible Transport.

We are now recruiting for three Transport Solutions Managers, one permanent position and two 24 month fixed-term contracts. These roles will lead the design and delivery of high-impact work focused primarily on accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging – a key priority for the Foundation. This is a pivotal role that combines technical understanding, programme delivery, and stakeholder leadership, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure.

While your core focus will be on EV charging, you also may be expected to lead and/or contribute to other transport projects across the transport themes.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-led team driving change in the transport system for disabled people, and to work on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the sector.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the design and delivery of accessible EV charging initiatives, working closely with Programme Directors and partners across government, industry and the charity sector.
• Scope, commission and manage projects related to EV charging – such as pilots, commercial partnerships, research studies or funding opportunities – ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
• Bring technical and market understanding of EV charging (e.g. standards, installation, interoperability, user experience, accessibility requirements) to shape the Foundation’s approach in this space.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives, including planning, budgeting, due diligence, contracting, risk management, and governance reporting.
• Use insight, evidence and stakeholder engagement to shape new programmes of work and ensure delivery reflects the needs of disabled people.
• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.
• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including OZEV, DfT, BSI, chargepoint operators, local authorities, disability organisations and industry experts.

Your experience:

Must haves:

• Experience managing complex projects, ideally in EV charging, transport, or energy sectors.
• Ability to translate technical or policy insight (e.g. standards, user experience, accessibility, or engineering considerations) into practical delivery and funding approaches.
• Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, ideally across multiple partners or suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across government, industry, and the charity sector.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines.
• Strong analytical capability, able to interpret data, research and qualitative insight to inform recommendations and decision-making.

PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):

• Oversee the delivery of our Foundation Digital Blue programme; in line with Foundation outcomes and line management of associated officers and coordinators to ensure all elements meet required standards
• Develop and deliver further Digital Blue programme schemes to inspire participants of all targeted ages involved in the programme – which includes the creation of resources and promotional materials.
• Work collaboratively across the Foundation on our Digital Blue initiatives to identify potential service gaps, and potential for further grants to develop provision.
• Work with the Schools Education Manager and Futures Manager to identify development opportunities and service gaps within existing programmes.
• Support the Philanthropic Partnerships Team and Grants Teams with approaching suitable partners and/or funders as identified to develop programme funding opportunities.
• Attend Local Strategic Partnership Meetings to raise awareness of our local provision, and then network to enhance new funding and delivery opportunities
• Coordinate and devise scheduling or the delivery of Digital Education programme, including schools based and stadium sessions
• To successfully manage relationships with participants, schools, community settings and partners as part of the programme.
• To undertake any other Foundation activities that may be required in addition to the role.

The role

Summary job description

As the Director of Programme Performance, you will be pivotal in leading a team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems. Your leadership will be critical in developing performance indicators and data pipelines that inform organisational and programmatic key results, guide data-driven decision-making, and deliver meaningful impact assessments.

We’re looking for a Senior Face to Face (F2F) Fundraising Manager to join our Face to Face Fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house F2F Fundraising team to reach the ambitious targets we have ahead. This role manages a team of F2F Managers who each lead a team of F2F fundraisers signing up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity, as well as delivering lifesaving water safety messaging. The role is part of the F2F Senior Management Team, supporting the team’s development through leading projects that drive forwards team performance.

Your role

As a Senior F2F Fundraising Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

• Recruit, train and manage a geographically diverse group of direct reports. Develop and motivate direct reports to deliver key messages, campaigns and products within the F2F strategy.
• As a senior manager in the F2F fundraising team (200+ staff), continue to develop and maintain a positive high-performing culture to ensure the team are performing at their best and developing. Drive continuous improvement across all KPIs.
• Construct and monitor financial and performance reports to ensure budget & KPIs are met, reforecasting where necessary.
• Develop a positive safety culture by identifying and managing risks to health and safety and safeguarding.
• Oversee compliance & complaints to ensure RNLI F2F fundraising adheres to best practice.
• Lead the delivery of selected team projects from initiation to completion, working with colleagues both within the F2F team and the wider organisation to provide the plans, processes and tools needed for the team to achieve their objectives. Develop solid relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
