Forces Employment Charity is seeking a dedicated Client Advisor to join our Support Centre in Birmingham.
Role: The role of Client Advisor is to deliver the support centre function for the programme. Forces Employment Charity delivers a specialist programme to support veterans in the Justice System who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life.
The role reports to the Support Centre Manager and Support Team Leader. This position is permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £22,000. The successful candidate will be based at the Support Centre, Birmingham Office / Hybrid with 50% Office-50% WFH once the security clearance is received and training is complete.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Receive referrals of Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.
· Make first contact with referrals within 2 working days and complete initial registration.
· Upload client information to case management system.
· Provide initial advice and guidance on registration.
· Support allocated caseworker to engage with the veteran after initial assessment.
· Support Veterans to obtain proof of service and sign required consent forms.
· Provide accurate and responsive telephone, text, social media and email ‘helpdesk’ support to veterans and other stakeholders.
· Record all interactions with accurately on the Salesforce case management system.
· To be flexible and complete any additional tasks, asked of you by the support team leader and Support Centre Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Competencies:
· High quality written and verbal communication skills, with a personable manner and excellent telephone technique.
· Experience of advising and supporting individuals.
· Excellent IT and keyboard skills.
· Experience of business administration, in particular the use of databases and customer management systems to accurately record data.
· Strong organisational skills with a desire to achieve through own initiative.
Desirable Competencies:
· NVQ Level 4 Advice and Guidance.
· Empathy for those who have served in the Armed Forces.
· Understanding of those in the Justice System.
· Salesforce experience, this training will be provided for the successful candidate if they are not already trained.
Security Clearance:
· Successful candidates will also be the subject of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (EDBS) check and Police Vetting (NPPV2).

As Business Administration & Finance Officer (BAFO) you will be responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the charity. Working closely with the finance team, HR team, regional managers and the senior management team and the post holder will have communication with all members of Envision employees. The aim of the role is to standardise our back-office processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency including Finance, HR & IT as well as event and travel management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative support for all Envision delivery staff including event space hiring, sending out contracts to our partners and inputting information into our customer relationship management (CRM) software, Salesforce.
- Financial transactions including bookkeeping, raising sales invoices and processing purchase invoices, administration related to organisation purchasing cards.
- Processing travel bookings and hotel bookings for the organisation.
- Submitting gift aid claims to HMRC.
- HR transactional administration including recruitment, maintaining employee records, etc.
- Maintain IT inventory and submitting IT queries to our external IT provider.
Essential Experience, Knowledge and Competencies:
- Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Experience with IT systems – Office 365 & Shared Drive.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing to a wide range of people.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy for data entry.
Desirable Experience, Knowledge and Competencies:
- Experience of working in a busy and varied administrative support role.
- Experience with IT systems – Xero, SafeHR, Salesforce & Docusign.
- Demonstrate a logical approach to developing and implementing processes.
- Understanding of, and/or lived experience of, the barriers that young people face, that contribute to the education and employment gap.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to enable more Disabled people and carers to use technology in their daily lives to aid wellbeing and independence.
You will provide engaging one-to-one and group training to people who are digitally excluded, mostly in their own homes.
Main tasks
1. You will plan and conduct face to face, one-to-one (or group where required) training sessions with tech members – you will teach them how to use tablets and other devices, how to stay safe online, how to access services or do shopping online, or just help them get more confident in using technology – no two training sessions will be the same!
2. You will write reports from your visits, and will closely collaborate with volunteer coordination team
3. You will actively seek out tech members who may be willing to share their stories as case studies, and you will write up the case studies
Person specification

· The ability and willingness to travel around Surrey to deliver face to face training in homes (daily)

This is a newly created and pivotal role in The Aspinall Foundation’s small fundraising team. The Fundraising Administration Executive will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of the charity’s key adoption fundraising programme and supporting the effective running of the Department as a whole.
The Fundraising Administration Executive will administer The Aspinall Foundation supporter database (Donorfy) including maintaining accurate contact details and contact preferences, in line with GDPR consent, and gift aid eligibility. You will prepare and collect direct debit payments, oversee the import and administration of all new regular givers, accurately record all income, manage supporter communication, administer digital and third-party adoption platforms, and provide ad hoc support with project administration or event facilitation.
