A major change project has taken place at Cranstoun over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have successfully moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable Head of IT to lead Cranstoun’s IT services. You will be motivated to make a difference and build on the successful work that has already been achieved.
The Head of IT will demonstrate visible leadership and provide expert advice to continue the development of IT provision, knowledge and digital capabilities across the organisation. The post holder will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain our IT systems and support, including all aspects of IT and cyber security. Cranstoun currently holds ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System), Cyber Essentials and completes the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit. You will support our two internal IT roles and effectively manage our managed service provider who are providing ongoing day-to-day support for all our IT users.The role incorporates wider responsibilities that include supplier management and purchasing in relation to IT.

About You
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills. You should have:

SOCIAL MEDIA / WEBSITE UPDATES:
· In conjunction with the Charity Director, develop a social media / website calendar. Ensuring consistent year-round messaging for the charity supporters.
ADMINISTRATION:
· Oversee the charity office space, ensuring everything is kept in a tidy and good order for the wider team.
OTHER DUTIES:
· Undertake other reasonably requested duties under the direction of the Charity Director.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
· Previous charity experience desirable.
· Ability to work independently but also as part of a highly motivated team.
· Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
· Strong IT and administrative skills.
· Organised and proactive approach.
· Flexible and able to travel throughout the UK.
