The Role

As the Chief Finance Officer, you will lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the organisation’s financial functions, with overarching responsibility for financial control, reporting, planning and analysis, and finance operations. You will ensure robust financial stewardship, support data-driven decision-making, and enable long-term sustainability and growth through strong financial leadership and insight.

This role is a key member of that team, working alongside the Deputy Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Business Improvement and Technology Officer. Together, you will shape the organisation’s strategy, culture, and delivery.

About You

You will be passionate about making a meaningful difference through strong financial stewardship and have substantial senior finance leadership experience, ideally within a charitable, social care, health, or values-led organisation.

You will have/be:

• Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with a strong understanding of charity finance and Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) requirements.
• Proven success in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management in a complex, multi-stakeholder setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits, lead financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting income diversification, including contract-based services, fundraising, and trading subsidiaries.
• Strong track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams, including business partnering and cross-functional collaboration.

The Role

In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan Board of Finance and Trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The role will include taking ownership of the budget and forecast for ODBF, running the month-end and reporting process and interacting with Heads of Department and key Diocese clergy in helping to run their day-to-day operations.  The role will also take the lead in managing the tax and statutory reporting, and appropriate training assistance will be made available as required.

You will play a key role within a Finance department totalling 9 staff.  The team have been through a time of change, including the introduction of a system 3 years ago that still requires some input to ensure it is being maximised in usefulness.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Accountant to join the friendly team in this Finance function.  You will embrace the challenge that such a varied role brings. 

With proven experience in producing timely, high-quality and accurate financial information, your ‘can-do’ approach to work will inspire you to deliver excellent, meaningful financial reports that will have high impact for stakeholders. This is an exciting new role to head up DanceSyndrome’s Community work across Lancashire developing, nurturing, growing, and managing our community workshops. At the heart of our organisation are our weekly bespoke Community Inclusive Dance Workshops; ‘Everybody Dance’. Peer support Workers hold a key position in the Trafford Living Well service, working with individuals and groups, to help people to reach their individual recovery goals.

Peer support workers support individuals to establish greater control over their lives, helping to identify aspects of life that give meaning, hope, value and purpose whilst recognising that everyone’s recovery is a uniquely personal process.

As an integral and valued member of the multi-agency team, the post holder will support team members by role modelling and using lived experience of mental health services to shape the service's quality.

The Senior Corporate Development Manager is responsible for delivering, renewing and evolving existing corporate partnerships. This is alongside playing a role in the wider team’s endeavours to negotiate and secure new corporate partnerships.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Extensive corporate or commercial partnerships experience with demonstrable success of delivering, and renewing, 6 or 7 figure partnerships.

Position: Chief Business Improvement and Technology Officer

Location: London/Hybrid

Hours: Full time, flexible working available

Salary: £85,453 to £102,956 based on experience

Contract: Permanent

The Role

As the Chief Business Improvement and Technology Officer, you will lead efforts in quality, assurance and compliance, business reporting, and technology and digital transformation. You’ll ensure services are high-performing, compliant, and continuously improving, and that systems and insights support everything from frontline care to national campaigning. This role is a key member of that team, working alongside the Deputy Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Chief People Officer. Together, you will shape the organisation’s strategy, culture, and delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone with senior leadership experience in technology, digital, data, or business improvement within a care, support, health, or social impact organisation. With proven ability to develop business improvement strategies (for example, quality, technology, data) that enhance frontline service and wider programme and practice delivery and user experience, you will have a strong track record of building and embedding organisational data and insight functions that inform both operational decisions and external campaigning and influencing.

You will have experience of:

• Technology, data, or business improvement in the charity, health, or social care sectors.
• Overseeing IT infrastructure, and/or digital platforms, and/or cyber security in a multi-site or distributed service environment.
• Deep understanding of data protection, compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
• Using data and digital tools to support and improve service delivery, and/or policy development, campaigning, and public engagement.
• Building and leading multidisciplinary teams across technology, insight, digital development, and compliance.
• A collaborative, mission-led approach to leadership

· Experience in managing donor relationships.

· Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

· Proficient in all Microsoft and Google software applications

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Knowledge of Beacon Customer Relations Management system desired

· Certificate in Fundraising either from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or equivalent desired

· A good Marketing and/or Fundraising background is desired

· A commitment to making a positive impact.

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies, with a focus on attracting volunteers and members.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead marketing strategies to attract potential volunteers and members.
Collaborate with media agencies to brief campaigns, review media plans and optimise live activity, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Write and/or edit inspiring, engaging and creative ad copy where required for different channels and audiences.
Brief internal and external creative teams to produce compelling and brand-aligned marketing assets.
Implement testing strategies to drive continuous optimisation and learning.
