The Role
Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, the Supporter Care Assistant is the Charity’s first point of contact for our donors and fundraisers providing excellent supporter care (customer service) to existing supporters and new donors.
The person will:
• Taking and processing payments and responding to multi-channel queries in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Send personalised letters, emails, and phone calls to thank our supporters, ensuring that they receive a great donor experience.
• Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns, accompanying communications and donor support.
• Manage the Supporter Care and Fundraising inboxes, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring communications are logged on our CRM system.
• Assist with financial tasks such as processing, banking, and the processing of donation details.
• Assist in ensuring the CRM database is up to date and all associated data is accurate.
The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Have outstanding customer service and be confident talking on the telephone with the ability to listen and engage with others.
• Be able to empathise and build excellent relationships.
• Previous experience of accurately processing supporter/customer data using a database to record and monitor communications.
• Have an understanding of charity law including GDPR, data retention and privacy regulations.
