WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, talented, resourceful, emotionally intelligent and hardworking Senior Finance Manager to manage finance and governance across our international office in London and our Retreat Centre based in Bonnevaux. Working with the Executive Director and Trustees, and with the support of a small, dedicated team, you will lead on WCCM’s financial strategy and planning, ensuring compliance with statutory and non-statutory bodies, working to maximise income and automate processes. You will also have responsibility for core organisational support functions such as HR, GDPR and Health and Safety. You will have significant experience in finance roles, with knowledge and experience of UK charity finance, and operational support functions. Occasional trips to France. You will play a central role in growing and maintaining income across the Hospice and positioning us as the local charity of choice.

• Fundraising Success: At least three years’ experience operating and growing income in an Individual Giving Role (or with relevant transferable skills)

Age UK's Telephone Friendship Service is recruiting for 2 Friendship Coordinators to join our growing team!

Loneliness is a major issue that is now widely recognised in society today, particularly amongst older people. By scheduling weekly calls from our trained volunteers, Age UK's National Telephone Friendship Service provides older people with a chance to make a new friend from the comfort of their home.

As a Friendship Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting the thousands of matches between our members and volunteers across the UK. Whether you are answering emails and calls, ensuring safeguarding measures are upheld or supporting members and volunteers through the onboarding processes, you will be helping to ensure this much needed service reaches those who need it most, in a safe and efficient manner.

Utilising your excellent customer service skills, you will be the first port of call to support our volunteers and older members - so you'll need to be comfortable spending a lot of time on the phone and communicating by email. You'll also need to be passionate about supporting older people and have a good understanding of older people's needs.

This role can either be based at our office in Blackpool, or in Ashburton Devon. We offer a hybrid model of home and office based-working, so you will need to be within a reasonable distance of either the Blackpool or Devon office and be willing to travel there regularly. As a guide, the team currently work from the office once a fortnight but please be aware this could increase in the future.

You will work a 35-hour working week, 5 days out of 7 with start and end times between 8am and 6pm. It will include weekend and bank holiday shifts, which will be arranged on a rota basis.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as Head of Tenancy Sustainment. You'll take the lead in developing SNG's vision to have a positive and lasting impact on customers lives, offering them clear support and engagement services as they are needed, through the duration of their tenancy.

With offices across our geography including Basingstoke, Bristol, Christchurch, Exeter, Newbury, Wembley and Hertford, we can be flexible on your base location. You'll combine office and home working to ensure a positive work/life balance, with some travel being required across our geography.

The Role

Reporting into our Customer and Neighbourhood Director, you'll be responsible for the development of strategies, policies and procedures relating to all tenancy sustainment activities. Being a specialist in this field, you'll also scan the horizon to identify potential significant changes in external policy and financial landscape, introducing best practice from other organisations and sectors.

You'll be the main point of contact internally for all matters relating to tenancy sustainment, working collaboratively across the business to ensure that consistent best practices are embedded within Locality teams and the wider business. Externally, you'll represent SNG and our commitment and vision in tenancy sustainment – influencing and working alongside key external stakeholders and delivery partners, building relationships aligned to our corporate and customer strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide and source expert advice, and manage the development of services, to ensure SNG meets its commitments, monitors its performance and evidences its delivery relating to regulatory obligations, changing regulations, guidance and best practice
• Developing and leading a stakeholder management plan across local, regional and national government bodies responsible for the delivery to specialist areas
• Piloting partnerships with other services to enhance the provision of support to SNG's customers and developing funding solutions to provide support to core budgets
• Managing large complex annual budgets, ensuring appropriate monitoring of expenditure and compliance with procedures and levels of approval
• Ensuring that the appropriate training and development programs for Locality teams are in place across a range of areas, including domestic abuse, safeguarding and ASB
• Leading on all strategic and operational elements of service development across localities; proactively involving customers through engagement and scrutiny, to help shape and facilitate the co-creation of the service as required  
• Articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement

What we need from you

Ideally you should have previous experience in a similar senior role, with strong experience and knowledge of the latest requirements for housing providers across tenancy sustainment.  You'll also need:

• Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a customer focussed environment
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
• Evidence of delivering on innovative concepts, utilising future changes in policy to support flexibility in a responsive organisation
• Experience of promoting an organisation at a regional and national level to raise the profile of the business
• Ability to inspire, support and develop others to optimise their performance
• Track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment
• To have strong people skills and be an effective communicator, able to influence and challenge
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite with intermediate or advanced excel skills
• Membership of a professional body – CIH

We are currently recruiting a Partnerships Manager, for an exciting role with the community driven charitable foundation of a globally renowned sporting event.   

This charitable foundation provides grants and works with charity partners to provide opportunities and positive development for people from disadvantaged communities, tackling social issues, mental health, active lives and using the power of sport to develop life skills for young people. The foundation has a rich selection of programmes supporting needs locally, nationally and internationally, with a focus on the community based in South West London in particular.  

The role:  
This is a central role within the Foundation to manage, develop and maintain partnerships and programmes with national and international charities and corporate partners.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, to manage multiple partnerships, oversee the delivery of programme activities and events and track and monitor the overall success of these partnerships. You will also work closely with the foundation team, and charity and corporate partners to identify new opportunities to develop and promote the partnerships. This will include designing and delivering programmes, events and activations that are mutually beneficial to all, as well as collaborating on materials, content and publications to promote the foundation’s partnership work.

Full time role, 35 hours per week.

Hybrid working, with usually three-days at the office in South West London.

The person:  
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at relationship management, collaboration and problem solving with a strong track record of developing and managing partnerships and programmes across a variety of stakeholders, building relationships with existing and new contacts at all levels, including Board and senior management level. You will be accountable for creating and delivering against large scale partnership plans and developing new activities, events, and activations in in collaboration with existing partners. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and delivering partnerships with charity/voluntary sector organisations as well as businesses.

The Black Country Living Museum is seeking a Heritage Transport Driver to join our Historic Character team. Being home to the world's largest collection of Black Country manufactured vehicles, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Driver to get behind the wheel of some of the most iconic vehicles in the Black Country.

We are currently developing stories that explore the experiences of people with heritage from South Asia and the Caribbean.

We are interested in hearing from anyone who may have knowledge and be able to share, engage and inform our visitors of migration experiences arriving from the above regions and working in the Black Country during the 1940s, 50s and 60s. If you feel able to engage with our visitors in telling authentic migration stories from the Black Country of this time, we would like to hear from you!

• Driving a variety of our heritage vehicles with adherence to safety procedures.

• Providing banksman support to direct vehicle movement on and around the site.
