As part of this work, our People and Operations Team engages a wide range of people in the Trust’s vision for Gloucestershire, and our Executive Assistant is integral to this.
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to deliver high level professional administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. The Executive Assistant will take responsibility and ownership of office organisation and project delivery, and to provide Trust-wide support for human resources processes and governance processes for the Board of Trustees.

Summary of key duties:
Executive Assistance:
- Organise meetings and manage diaries for the CEO and COO.
- Prepare agenda, take minutes and keep records.
- Handle communications on behalf of CEO and COO.
- Manage projects and general administrative tasks.
Governance Assistance:
- Organise Board and Committee meetings.
- Co-ordinate and support the preparation of meeting papers and distribute them in a timely manner.
- Take accurate minutes and maintain governance records.
- Support the Trustee recruitment and induction processes.
- Keep governance information on the website and Trustee portal up to date.
Human Resources Administration:
- Support HR processes and recruitment.
- Oversee and manage the IRIS HR system, ensuring all employees know how to use the system and keep their information up to date.
- Provide regular HR reports to managers.
Use of Overton House
- Manage room bookings and visitors arrangements, ensuring policy and practice is consistent with the Trust’s values.
- Ensure external users have the right information and support.
- Work with the Marketing and Comms team to promote available spaces.
Line management responsibilities
- Provide line management to the Operations Administrator, enacting the Trust’s management processes to ensure that all direct reports are motivated, supported and enabled to give of their best.
- Conduct regular reviews and support personal development for direct reports, providing open and honest feedback on performance, setting personal development goals and plans.
- Ensure that all direct reports work within clear and effective safeguarding practices and in accordance with all other Trust policies and procedures.
- Ensure that wellbeing, sickness and absence are managed effectively.
- Contribute to Trust-wide people management policies, procedures and team culture as a member of the People Manager Team.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience of working as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant at a senior level
- Experience of accurate minute-taking and record-keeping for both formal and informal meetings
- Team leadership, experience managing or supporting colleagues
Desirable Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures

The Opportunity

The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

- Ensure that all supporters are adequately thanked and receiving the best supporter experience

About You
To be considered as a Fundraising Officer, you will need:
- Fundraising experience, ideally in a small to medium-sized charity
- Experience of, or that would be transferable to, handling sensitive conversations with people who have been bereaved with empathy and tact
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to accurately maintain large quantities of data
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Lead Funding Manager on a full-time (or 0.8) to lead the delivery of the foundation’s priorities for Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights, as part of A Fairer Future (AFF) team. This role is a maternity contract for up to 12 months. A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish).
In A Fairer Future, there are five focus areas:
- Arts and creativity making change

- Migrant justice
- Racial justice
The role:
This leadership role will provide grant-making and strategic support capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of larger grants at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. This role will take a lead on strategic initiatives, driving impact in the Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights priorities. Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using the foundation's full range of tools and approaches. This role will be responsible for informing, influencing and monitoring the implementation of the AFF strategy and programme, including developing and assessing proposals for activities, leading on the delivery of impact, and maintaining external networks to provide strategic guidance to the Foundation.
Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will be core aspects of this role in addition to supporting other team members with expertise relating to the two sectors. This person will be responsible for managing the larger grant relationships throughout out the grant cycle, capturing and embedding learning along the way. They will also be responsible for site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.
The culture at the foundation is collaborative and nurturing, so working closely with colleagues to share ideas and learn from each other will be essential in this role.
The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience in addition to having knowledge of the Children and Young People and/or Gender Justice sectors, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector, or through another funder. Highly organised, intellectually curious and pragmatic, this person will be able to unpick complex information and will be confident and experienced in assessing grant applicants’ financial information. They will understand the charity funding world and importantly, the challenges faced by marginalised communities across the UK in the face of widespread inequity. The AFF team works with the Involving Young People’s Collective, candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the value of co-production.
IT confident and systematic in their approach, this person will also be confident and empathetic team leader in addition to being an excellent communicator, both in person and in written work. Excellent attention to detail, thorough and collaborative in their approach to work, this person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, working in a fast-paced environment.
A broad understanding and experience of systems change principles and an appreciation of the nuanced intersections between the various priorities of the AFF programme will be important to success in this role. The ability to contribute to the effectiveness of a busy team through encouragement and inspiration will also be important.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

About the role
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in driving excellence in service delivery, being a point of contact for staff and ensuring they are empowered, skilled, knowledgeable within their roles and create a supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive. Our residents in this service have experienced long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services.They are here to make positive changes and receive the support they need to achieve greater independence and progress in their recovery.
In this role, as a Deputy Service Manager, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:
- Line management and leadership, offering guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service.
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed.
- Property and housing management, ensuring accommodation standards, timely maintenance and reporting.
- Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management.

About you

Age UK Camden is a local, independent and innovative charity which has provided services to older people in Camden for more than 50 years through diverse and inclusive services. About this key role
Our successful candidate will produce individual support and risk management plans for those we will be providing ongoing support to and promote inter-agency collaboration in the support process, which will see you include appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service. You will also develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including Early Help and Youth Justice teams, and Community Safety partners and support individuals to access and engage with support agencies.
We will rely on you to deliver a holistic support service that will include confidence building and self-awareness along with interventions aimed at preventing criminal and sexual exploitation, grooming, violence, sharing inappropriate media content. Closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a success plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future is also a vital aspect of the role, as is maintaining strong links with agencies providing services to the client group.
What we are looking for
- Had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of Scarborough
- If still serving a sentence: To be currently eligible for Release on Temporary License (ROTL). On release, likely to be living within commuting distance of Scarborough. Plus, be willing to provide a DBS check and other disclosure as required, including references from the Prison Service
- Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and the ability to assess client’s needs
- An understanding of local support services that may be applicable to young people.
- An understanding of the need to use support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written

The Purpose of the Role
The External Relations (ER) department includes private fundraising, marketing & communications and advocacy.
