Essential Skills
· A recognised qualification or proven success in digital marketing

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) in schools. Together we want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their cadet experience.
We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers whilst also helping young people to access cadet activities through fundraising, grant-making, developing new resources and direct support.

About us:
Oswestry Community Action, otherwise known as Qube, is a registered charity based in Oswestry, Shropshire.
Qube’s aim is to improve the quality of life for people in Oswestry, Shropshire and the Welsh borders, through the provision of Community Transport Services, a Volunteer Centre, Arts and Culture, Shop mobility and Care services.
The role:
The Marketing & Communications Officer will be responsible for the day to day marketing functions, with the aim of increasing the profile and understanding of the organisation within the town of Oswestry and wider communities of Shropshire and the Welsh borders, along with supporting the strategic development of this valued organisation.
Main Duties:
1. To be responsible for the implementation and ongoing development of the organisation’s Marketing plan.
2. Working alongside the Qube staff team develop and implement marketing plans with each department to ensure a consistent and professional approach to the marketing of the organisation.
3. Management of the organisation’s website, including ongoing development of the site, regular content updates and reporting of analytics to the officer’s line manager.
4. To be responsible for regular and relevant social media content on a wide variety of platforms, along with the monitoring of all sites and responding to queries and questions that are raised through the sites.
5. To develop and manage brand guidelines on behalf of the organisation and to ensure that all staff, trustees and volunteers adhere to the guidelines when representing the organisation.
6. To be responsible for the design, production and circulation of all printed materials on behalf of Qube.
7. Network and develop relationships with media outlets, providing press releases to them on a regular basis on the work of Qube.
8. To develop new ways of communicating the messages of Qube to potential customers, stakeholders, as well as to the general public.
9. Any other work as agreed with the Chief Officer or line manager.
Salary: Up to to £14,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week.

The Digital Marketing Officer will play an important part in Cure Parkinson’s continued ambitious growth. Joining us at an exciting time for the charity, you would be part of a small but dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and make your own mark.
You will create and edit communications and marketing materials to publicise the charity’s activities to our online and digital audiences, including writing and distributing e-newsletters and updating our website and social media platforms. Key duties / tasks
- Drafting and coordinating the distribution of the charity’s E-newsletter in Mailchimp.
- Drafting social media messaging and assisting with running paid social media campaigns.
- Day to day monitoring of CP social media platforms to respond to supporters, identify influencers, and engage in conversations where relevant to CP
- Working closely with colleagues in design, fundraising and research to develop visual assets for use on social media.
- Writing and uploading news stories and information materials to the charity website and social media platforms.
- Support on the implementation of a digital strategy for the organisation.
- Undertaking analysis and feedback to provide insight into social media, website and email performance
- Assisting with the creation of ad-hoc emails to supporters.
- Working closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure a joined up, consistent approach.

THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Membership and Marketing Manager to join our small but busy Digital team on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. Reporting to the Director of Engagement and Communications, you will be responsible for the membership and marketing function within the RCSLT to support and engage with our members at all stages of their careers. This is a Maternity Cover post that sits within the Engagement and Communications Team where you will lead and promote our external facing products, campaigns and services. As Membership and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing the delivery of member engagement plans, ensure consistent communication with our members internally, plan and deliver activities to promote SLT as a career and support the overall engagement and communications strategy.

The ideal candidate will have marketing qualifications or extensive marketing experience, have strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce is desired), excellent IT skills and knowledge of email marketing systems. The candidate must be highly organised, self-motivated with a positive approach to all situations and be confident in presenting to stakeholders. It would be beneficial if the candidate had previous experience building and executing marketing plans that support core business objectives.

Marketing Officer
1.0 Job Purpose
As a Marketing Officer within our charity, your role is pivotal in driving fundraising and retail activities. Your primary responsibility is to devise and execute marketing workplans that effectively promote our fundraising campaigns and enhance the performance of our retail initiatives. By engaging with various stakeholders and utilising creative marketing techniques, you play a crucial role in generating income for our three brands: Saint Michael’s Hospice, Herriot Hospice Homecare and Just ‘B’.
2.0 Key Tasks

- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Heads of Income Generation to align marketing efforts with organisational goals and priorities.
Financial
- Assist in budget planning and management for marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor marketing expenses and report on budget adherence to the Marketing Manager.
Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines in all marketing activities, particularly in relation to fundraising regulations.
- To ensure that all campaigns, content, and material meet brand guidelines, the law and ethical best practice and to provide support to encourage other teams to meet such guidelines
Management
- Coordinate with volunteers and external agencies to support marketing campaigns and events.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues involved in fundraising and retail activities.

ACCT UK launched its new name and brand in 2021 and we are now seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager to continue the delivery of our engagement programme. We are looking for you to bring enthusiasm, personal credibility, discretion and sensitivity in promoting the charity to its beneficiaries and a wide range of stakeholder groups.
As ACCT UK’s Marketing Manager, you will be key to helping the wider community to understand our charity and how it is distinct from the Army Cadets, a youth organisation we are closely linked to.
This is a rewarding and flexible role. The position is a permanent full time post (40 hours per week) which can be either home or office based. The successful applicant will be required to travel occasionally. The full time starting annual salary for this post is £34,190.73.
Our charity
ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. We want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their Army Cadet experience. We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers in the Army Cadets.
Working alongside our strategic partner, the British Army, we help young people to access cadet activity with the Army Cadets through a range of activities including fundraising, grant making, developing new resources and direct support to the Army Cadets.

Marketing management
- Supporting our Head of Marketing to develop cross-organisation marketing plans to help us achieve our member retention objectives and reach new audiences.
- Leading projects with our Members Services Team, Education and Training, and External Affairs teams to understand the market and customer need for our products and services.
Marketing activities
- Lead on the delivery of effective marketing plans for a range of audiences and outputs, including but not limited to our online and in-person events, qualifications, training and assessments, and clinical guidance, guidelines and standards.
- Write engaging copy for both online and offline marketing collateral – including news stories, blogs, email communications, print and digital adverts, and social media.
- Segment and tailor marketing communications for a range of audiences by professional role, membership type, and level of involvement with us.
- Manage regular email communications with our registered users (those who express an interest in us) and candidates (those currently learning with us) to support their journey towards becoming a member.
- Develop and manage the marketing activities for our core member publication The British Medical Journal in Sexual and Reproductive Health (BMJ SRH)
- Proactively manage a content calendar to help keep track of our range of communications.

Marketing intelligence
- Support the Head of Marketing with desk-based research / activities to help us better understand and engage with newer audiences (e.g., physician associates, pharmacists).
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using a range of tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM reports, Google Data Studio), working closely with our Digital Content Manager and Data Manager.
- Proactively look at ways to improve the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and insights to inform this.
- Track and monitor email campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements, most notably during our annual member renewals campaign.
Brand management
- Champion our FSRH values, brand guidelines and style guide, supporting the Head of Marketing to keep our templates and materials up-to-date and implemented correctly.
- Support the development of event specific content for in-person and online events, and occasionally assist as an FSRH representative.
- Produce slides for our CEO / Officers where needed to help share information about FSRH’s work.
You will have experience:
- Developing and delivering successful and multichannel marketing and communications plans

About the role
This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing, to join our team in High Wycombe, with the option to regularly work from home by agreement with your line manager. Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
The Head of Marketing role:
This is an exciting new role in an expanding team, ideal for someone who’s an established marketeer and wants to make a difference. The Marketing & Digital Directorate objectives are to raise awareness of coeliac disease, extend our reach to a wider audience, grow our reputation with a variety of audiences, and maximise engagement. The Directorate operates as an in-house agency providing consultancy, creative generation, and managing all marketing across all channels and platforms.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing:
- The core responsibility is to lead and deliver against all marketing objectives across the organisation – this includes working with Fundraising, Evidence and Policy, Commercial and Membership & Volunteering Directorates to develop strategies, activities and marketing communications. The role is very varied with good opportunities to generate creative solutions across our channels, including website, email, app, events, PR, magazines and social media.
- We are also implementing a number of new initiatives for the charity including revising our Vision, Mission and Values, plus developing a new brand proposition. This will be rolled out across the year and will require the Head of Marketing to work closely with the Director of Marketing & Digital and the CEO to implement this. We are also working on a new website to launch under the new brand proposition in early 2025 – the content and activation of this falls under the remit of the Head of Marketing, with the Director of Marketing & Digital supporting on strategy, and the Head of Digital providing all delivery.
Essential experience, skills and knowledge required for the Head of Marketing role:
- More than 10 years Marketing and Communications experience with at least three years at senior management level
- Strategic leader able to see the big picture and deliver the detail
- Motivational and supportive manager able to guide and develop team members
- Cooperative team player with practical ‘can do’ attitude incorporating a flexible approach
- Evidence of successfully managing complex projects and budgets and the ability to work accurately and at pace
