The role

Contract:  Permanent - ASAP

Hours:  Full time (Icebreaker One works a four-day week, Mon-Thurs)

Rate:  Circa £28k 

Core Responsibilities

• Support the Account Manager in maintaining and progressing a pipeline of stakeholder and client relationships, ensuring consistent and timely communication

• Attend client and partner meetings alongside (or on behalf of) the Account Manager; take live notes, capture actions and send clear follow-up summaries to stakeholders

• Track delivery of all agreed actions with the Account Manager, flagging delays or issues proactively

• Maintain and update IB1's CRM (Capsule) with accurate pipeline data, contact records, contract timelines and renewal deadlines and using it to prepare and update metrics as directed

• Conduct research into prospective partners, sector organisations and funding opportunities across priority sectors to develop the sales pipeline development

• Support the preparation of proposals, pitch materials, statements of work and contract documentation 

• Support community engagement, assisting in developing relationships, and other engagements

• Assist in coordinating IB1's stakeholder engagement activities - including AGMs, webinars, roundtable events and community forums - in collaboration with the Membership and Communications teams

• Help map and maintain IB1's stakeholder landscape across priority sectors, identifying gaps, opportunities and relevant networks

• Socialise the IB1 Constellation among teams within strategic partner organisations, supporting wider awareness and participation in IB1's expert network

Supporting responsibilities 

• Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures for stakeholder outreach, meeting management and pipeline administration

• Generate regular reports and pipeline summaries for the Account Manager and senior team

• Use insight from ongoing stakeholder engagement to feed back into and improve internal account management processes and documents

• Attend daily standups, Show & Tells and standing team meetings; contribute to a collaborative, open working culture

• Inputting and supporting into Bids & Grants where requested including but not limited to:

  • Communicate potential bid opportunities with IB1 bids team 

  • Updating trackers 

  • Creation of bid document templates 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Demonstrable experience of:

• A minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• A proven track record of supporting communication with clients / key relationships

• Highly organised and capable of managing time and tasks effectively

• Engaging people one-to-one effectively online and in person

• Ability to summarise findings so that they can be understood by non-experts

• Bringing together groups and individuals and uniting them with a common cause—via a range of face-to-face and virtual events, get-togethers, social media and communication forums

The ITF is looking for an experienced administrative/ global operations leader to head our administration department. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of support for governance, meetings and events across our departments including land transport, civil aviation and tourism, women transport workers, young transport workers, legal, campaigns, communications, and the office of the general secretary.

About the Role

The Head of Global Administration leads the ITF’s global administration function, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative, travel, language and governance support services across the organisation. The role provides strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the systems, processes and resources are in place to support ITF programmes, campaigns and governance activities worldwide.

It leads a global administration team with six direct reports, including administration coordinators, the travel coordinator and translation coordinators.

You will work closely with ITF regional offices and affiliates worldwide to ensure consistent, high-quality administrative support across the organisation.

Overseeing all administrative processes, you will maintain constructive relationships with affiliates and social partners, manage venue and service contracts, and support accurate and timely budget administration. Working closely with the Director of Global Campaigns and Operations, senior leaders and regional colleagues, you will help strengthen administrative systems that are efficient, coordinated and fit for purpose.

• Lead delivery of the Global Administration workplan and contribute to ITF organisational planning and budgeting.

Job Purpose

The Head of Community Support and Operations is a pivotal new role being introduced to the executive team at Barnsley CVS.  This person will be a key role in the growth and development of the executive team.  You will play an exciting part in the delivery and development of the recently developed 4-year strategy and theory of change. Your role will drive intention and focus on developing our support to the sector in a meaningful way to high standards, whilst ensuring our own internal operations reflect best practice.  You will need a strong knowledge of charity set up, management and governance along with a passion for what the VCSE sector does.  You will be confident in people management and development; have the ability to work inclusively with a wide range of people and backgrounds and the skill to see gaps and opportunities for service development.

As Director of External Affairs across the Bild Group of four small charities (with collective turnover of approx. £3m/yr), you will have a deep commitment to human rights and improving people’s lives.

You will provide strategic direction and leadership to the External Relations function across all four charities in the group, taking overall responsibility for and providing thought-leadership on our strategic approach to policy, influencing, public affairs, stakeholder engagement.

Experience/Skills/Competencies 

Essential 

• Significant experience working in communications, policy and PR with demonstrable success

• PR and media management experience, including both online and traditional PR

• Experience of managing and implementing social media plans, including post development, scheduling, evaluation and monitoring feedback

• Experience of overseeing the design and production of print and electronic publications, including website management and development

• Experience of managing CRM systems and ensuring effective data capture and utilising data to inform decision making

• Ability to analyse data and shape results into reports that inform decision making

Main purpose of the role

The Community Leader is responsible for ensuring that the Community is living the mission of L’Arche, by providing excellent and sustainable care and support services, support for  spirituality, and engaging with our neighbours and the wider community around us.

The Community Leader will:

• Lead the Community by responding to the needs, choices and context of our members while being faithful to the L'Arche UK Vision and Values, the L'Arche International Identity and Mission Statement, and to a co-created Community Mandate and plan.
• Maintain and enhance high-quality, person-centred care, support, and housing for people with learning disabilities, both at home and in our day services in partnership with the Registered Manager, the Team in London, the National Leadership Team, individual circles of support, and external partners; 
• Ensure the Community's financial sustainability through robust financial planning and management, including setting budgets, controlling spending, maximising occupancy, negotiating care contracts, growing day services, and spotting fundraising opportunities;
• Foster a culture that maximises the voice and power for people with learning disabilities, building listening and collaboration between Community members with and without learning disabilities;
• Contribute to the national work programmes of L'Arche UK, as part of the National Council, collaborating with Community Leaders of other L'Arche Communities, to share skills, best practice, and resources

Key essential criteria

• Senior leadership experience in support to adults with learning disabilities (or transferable skills and experience in a closely related field);
• Experience in leading, managing, and developing an organisation or large teams to deliver results, maintain compliance and quality, and to respond to risks and opportunities;
• Good financial planning skills and experiences of successfully managing a substantial budget;
• Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively to develop and implement community plans;
• Experience of living or working alongside people with learning disabilities and/or autistic individuals;
• Passionate about person-centred support and the values and mission of L'Arche;

Effective management of clergy housing and glebe assets is critical to supporting mission and ministry across the Diocese which covers Coventry, Warwickshire and part of Solihull.

They will oversee 156 clergy houses valued at £18.6m and a glebe portfolio valued at c£34m, comprising commercial property, agricultural land, and farming tenancies.

Applicants must demonstrate a strong record of managing a diverse property, commercial and agricultural assets alongside proven leaderships skills. Membership of RICS or CIB is required, and the successful applicant will be professional, approachable and results focused.
