The Facilities Officer role is pivotal in overseeing and managing property operations within the UK market. This position is designed to ensure the efficient utilization of properties, adherence to Health and Safety (H&S) regulations, and optimization of net income generated by investment properties. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to lead and manage our busy Finance Teams. You will have relevant finance and business experience, and you will directly manage the Accounts Payable and Income Collection teams, while contributing to process improvements within the Accounts Receivable (Billing) function.

You will be familiar with accounting software, preferably SAGE. You will be an effective communicator with excellent data management skills and numeracy, with particular proficiency in the use of Excel.

Ideally, you will have a relevant professional qualification (such as AAT or higher).  Experience gained in a social care-related organisation or a large business/charity with multiple cost centres and varied income streams is desirable. 

The role will involve:

· Leading and managing staff teams to achieve great results

· Inducting and coaching staff

· Planning, prioritising and co-ordinating workload

· Meeting month-end and year-end deadlines

· Developing and standardising efficient and effective processes

· Reviewing accounts and identifying invoicing and payment issues

· Producing reports and data for the Executive Team

This is a senior position within our busy, friendly Head Office Finance Department. A flexible and responsive approach is required, as you may need to assist with other priority tasks within our finance function and you will have the opportunity to deputise for senior colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Repairs and Maintenance manager to join our estates department as we start the implementation of our 2023-2028 corporate strategy that seeks to double our current housing offer and improve the quality of our existing estate.

The Estates Repairs & Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Associate Director of Estates working alongside the Estate's Surveyor, Facilities Officer, Estates Administrator and external property consultancy partner who will provide technical support in terms of the production of tender and specifications, contract administration, property surveys, cost advice and feasibility studies.

How you will make a difference

The main purpose of the Estates Repairs & Maintenance Manager role is to manage and oversee effective property repairs, maintenance and improvement works across the property portfolio and ensure that it remains legally compliant. This includes properties where the responsibility for repairs and maintenance is that of the Charity and equally of other parties such as landlords and housing associations. The role will include managing existing external contractor relationships and housing association repairs and maintenance performance, as well as introducing new supplier contracts where required according to the wider needs of the charity. The role will also include managing major/complex projects on behalf of the charity and supporting other areas of the department ensuring properties remain compliant.

Who are we looking for?

Firstly, you will need either a degree-level education or relevant work experience, such as in the health and social care or employment sectors. An opportunity has arisen for a lead Support worker to work within our Sanctuary crisis intervention and prevention service, based in Fore Street in Enfield. We act as a short-term A&E and Emergency services alternative, providing support to individuals in the Enfield Borough aged 18+. 

This role is to provide leadership and support to the Sanctuary team on shift. The role will:

• Lead shifts during the week, providing support to team members via case management support, escalation, Health and Safety guidance
• Support the Sanctuary Manager to embed processes within the service, and ensure that these are carried out
• Work alongside the Manager and team to ensure that the service is operating to high quality standard.
• Provide support in times of emotional distress for clients. The support worker will provide a calm, supportive presence.

 The role will support clients through co-producing support plans with practical and therapeutic support offerings, as well as contributing to the development of a warm welcoming environment and ‘safe space’ to be.

This position would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues.

The Sanctuary Service runs Monday - Friday, 5pm-10pm and at weekdays, 12-5pm. We would require the successful applicant to be able to work 4 shifts (21 hours per week) covering these days/times.

As an Annual Health Practitioner, you will provide support to local health services with their SMI (Severe Mental Illness) clinics. You will be key in shaping this role as the service develops as well as providing support to the core Access Community Mental Health team. The Annual Health Check Practitioner will also provide 1:1 support to encourage and enable people to attend their annual health checks.

Hillside Clubhouse is recruiting for a mental health employment specialist to join our dynamic Camden team supporting people with mental health conditions to gain and retain employment.  The role is working within the nationally recognised IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model within an NHS secondary care mental health team based in the heart of Camden.

Who we are: 

Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity.  Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our employment specialists based within primary and secondary care.

The Role: 

The role is within our IPS Service and will be based within a Camden NHS secondary care team. As an IPS Employment Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting people with lived mental health experience on their recovery journey by supporting them back into paid employment. This is an opportunity to offer ongoing support, to motivate and provide people with hope, while developing the tools and skills required to recover, ultimately transforming their lives.

A variety of skills are needed in this post including but not limited to -  a strong ability to develop empathy and rapport with clients; a determined approach to seeking out job opportunities; a person centric-approach to working with people; strong communications skills to motivate clients; strong administrative capabilities and an attention to detail engage with prospective employers via business development and face-to-face meetings, and to be able to challenge some perceptions around mental health. 

The postholder will be directly employed by Hillside Clubhouse but work under an Honorary Contract from Camden and Islington Foundation Trust.  They will be managed directly by the IPS Operations Manager but work as team member within the clinical team. The role is dynamic and involves being integrated in a clinical team, working within the community, and we operate a flexible working policy where working from home is also permitted up to two days per week.

Overall aim: 

To enable people with mental health issues to gain and sustain competitive employment by working within the evidence based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

Primary Duties: 

• Manage a caseload of up to twenty clients and work within and apply the 8 principles of IPS in all aspects of role. 
• To work with and enable clients to find work using a mix of conventional approaches and employer engagement. 
• To generate ongoing referrals from the clinical team and to manage those effectively. 
• To engage directly and collaboratively with the clinical team while maintaining the existing multi-disciplinary approach to assisting clients seeking work. 
• To report and meet regularly with clinical team service managers and the IPS Operations manager, and to participate in both casework and clinical supervision from IPS Operations and clinical team services managers. 
• To be an active member of both the clinical and Hillside teams 
• To be responsible for own management of administrative duties tied to both Hillside Clubhouse and clinical team and adhering to existing Hillside and NHS protocols. 
• Source job opportunities specific to client needs from a range of sources including those advertised via current and conventional means, as well as through contact with local and Pan London employers. 
• To build up a network of employers to secure available and future vacancies. 
• To maintain existing and seek out new relationships with a range of external agencies of use to the post. 
• To provide ongoing support to both client and employers (where appropriate) when starting work and until such time as the client makes the decision to end the support provided. 
• To work with clients to collaboratively manage job searching activities and engagement with the service. 
• To manage and meet all KPIs, statistics and documentation as required, including but not limited to: referrals, first meetings, job outcomes, job sustainments of 6, 13 and 26 weeks, and work retention. 
• To provide guidance on the impact and/or the potential change to benefits when clients start work. 
• To work and manage time effectively in both community/external settings, and at clinical team.

• To work out of hours as and when required, working in line with Hillside Clubhouse risk management procedures. 
• Undertake training when required and participate in ongoing learning and development.

• To engage and participate in external IPS support services, training, and events.

We’re looking for a bold and caring person to lead and develop Lancashire Mind’s Wellbeing Coaching service and mobilise a pilot of therapeutic services; a new service for Lancashire Mind.

You will be a mental health practitioner with experience of delivering therapeutic services and understand the different types of therapy and support clients need. To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, project management and line management experience.

The current postholder is going on maternity leave so we are looking for someone who is able to step into the role and hit the ground running. You will be motivated, flexible and adaptable.

Along with managing the rollout of Lancashire Mind’s therapeutic services, you will manage several coaching focussed projects. As such you will lead on partner and funder liaison, promotion, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting. You will work with a range of voluntary and community organisations and will identify and develop new opportunities for services.

The Autism Practitioner will work with people across Swindon with Autism and mild to moderate mental health concerns at pre/post assessment stage. Job Title: Wellbeing Navigator

Accountable to: Wellbeing Hub Manager and Senior Wellbeing Navigator

Accountable for: Working with the team and volunteers

Location: The Meritage Centre, Hendon, Barnet, NW4

Hours worked between: 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday pro rata

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Barnet Wellbeing Hub is an exciting new initiative that utilises a social prescribing model to support adults over 16 years old with common and long term conditions and/or social care needs to become involved in community activities. The Wellbeing Hub is an integral component of the overall Integrated Wellbeing Service Strategy for Barnet. A vacancy available for the right candidate to support the continued growth and development of the Social Prescribing offer in Barnet.

The hub acts as a referral Single Point of Access between statutory providers and community settings. A high volume of people are referred from statutory providers, other community organisations, or could self-refer to the hub. Staff will support individuals to engage with community activities.

The role of the wellbeing navigator team will be to provide a holistic service from referral through to discharge. They will work with partners to accept referrals into the service. They will welcome each person, provide a short triage to ensure that their conditions are appropriate ones for the service to assist, and then make appointments for them to visit for more in-depth assistance where necessary. They will also carry out background administration for this service such as logging individual details onto the service database.

MAIN TASKS

Individual Support

• Working with other team members, to provide first point of contact to all those accessing the service, whether face to face, by telephone or email.
• As part of a team, make contact to all people referred into the service.
• Provide a basic Triage service to people who are referred, either over the telephone or via appointments in the office.
• For those people with appropriate needs, book appointments for them to meet.
• Assist people to engage with community activities.
• Follow up with people who have used the service to ensure that they are engaging successfully.
• Provide a professional service that maintains boundaries, but is warm and respectful.
• Maintain individual confidentiality and respects equal rights and diversity.

Outreach work

Links with other community organisations and relationships with statutory services are integral to the success of the Wellbeing Hub. You will be working as part of the team to formulate an outreach work plan to support the Integrated Wellbeing Service working with our partners,

• Log all individuals accessing the service onto the central database in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Liaise with our partners and encourage collaborative and partnership working
• Build relationships and rapport with external partners
• Seek and generate referrals to the Wellbeing Hub and improve the community access into the Wellbeing Hub service
• Work flexibly at other premises, including GP practices, to deliver Emotional Health Checks to individuals based around the borough where appropriate

Administrative Duties

• Log all individuals accessing the service onto the central database in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Information logged should include people’s demographic information, presenting needs and any other case notes deemed to be appropriate.
• Log appointments for people to meet Wellbeing Navigators.
• Ensure that all paper or computerised records and documentation regarding the service is effectively and securely stored.

General duties

• To maintain accurate records to fulfil reporting requirements
• To adhere to all policies including equal opportunity policy and volunteer policy at all times
• Support the team in the setup and facilitation of events throughout the year and support the continued development of our activities
• Work with the team to support the recruitment and management of volunteers to create a team of hub champions to support the work of the navigators
• Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and supervision, as well as training sessions
• Carry out such other duties as deemed appropriate and may be reasonably required by the Service Manager.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering the East Riding of Yorkshire. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential. 

About you

Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.

You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.

You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.
