About the role

This role will support the financial administration and monitoring of our Trees for Climate programme, alongside wider programme and organisational administration.

Working across the organisation, you will process financial information, maintain accurate records, support reporting and help keep actions and deadlines on track. You will work closely with the Director, Operations Manager, colleagues and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Programme Administration

  • Process invoices and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including budget tracker
  • Liaise with stakeholders about financial information and documentation
  • Support annual accounts, audits and financial reporting
  • Support the Director and Operations Manager with programme administration and compliance

Organisational Support

  • Organise meetings and events, including scheduling, venues, papers and follow-up actions
  • Maintain organisational calendars, action logs, databases and other key records
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems and processes
  • Provide administrative support for grant management and funding applications
  • Support internal and external communications

Why work for us?

In return for your skills and experience, we offer:

  • A supportive and passionate team environment
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with experience in financial administration and organisational support who is confident working with budgets, financial records and administrative systems.

We are particularly interested in someone who can:

  • Maintain accurate records and work confidently with financial information.
  • Organise tasks, manage deadlines and keep administrative processes on track.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues, suppliers, funders and other stakeholders.
  • Use Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams, and handle confidential information appropriately.

Experience working within a charity, public sector or community organisation, particularly in grant or fund administration, would be an advantage. A relevant qualification in administration, finance, business or a related discipline would also be welcome.

Closing date: 9 November 2026
Interviews: Expected to take place on or around 18 November 2026

As a neurodivergent-led organisation, we value different ways of thinking and welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We are committed to inclusive recruitment practices.
