If you’re an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-player with experience of major donor fundraising, then this is the role for you.  You’d join the team at a time of progression, with a new, focussed plan for the organisation targeting growth in our work experience and inspirational school talks. For this to be successful, we need to grow and diversify our income, particularly from grants and gifts, and are growing the fundraising team from 3.5 to 5+ members to support this increase.

Your role as Senior Fundraising Manager will be to help identify, cultivate, ask and steward philanthropists and grantmaking trusts, working with the Director of Fundraising, Fundraising team, wider colleagues and volunteers to ensure they are solicited to the highest possible standards. The team will support you and there’ll be training on offer to help you succeed.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic Purpose

• Fundraising from grantmaking trusts and foundations – build and maintain a pipeline of trust prospects and donors with potential to give £10k+ per annum.
• Fundraising from major donor individuals – building relationships with prospects and donors leading to gifts of £5k or more.
• Collaboration – working with colleagues, Ambassadors and Trustees to engage potential supporters, attend events and solicit donations.
• Proposals and reports – develop and deliver accurate and inspiring fundraising applications and reports meeting and surpassing donor and prospect expectations.

Engagement

• Stewardship – work closely with the Donor Relations Manager to ensure all trust donors are stewarded effectively.
• Collaborate with staff, volunteers and leadership – ensuring you have an expert knowledge of the work of Speakers for Schools and can communicate it passionately and accurately to prospects and donors.

Delivery

• Events – utilise and support fundraising events to create a culture of giving and fundraising within Futures For All. Working alongside the Events Co-ordinator to identify attendees and shape engagement events.
• Data and reporting – ensure information on donors is correctly recorded in Salesforce, and supporting KPI and other reports created by the Director of Fundraising.
• Other duties – supporting the work of the Fundraising team and wider organisation as required.

Education / Experience / Knowledge

Essential

Experience of making the direct asks for funds from prospective donors.

Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and steward philanthropic relationships effectively.

Experience of compelling proposal and report writing for a grantmaking and philanthropy audience.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Enthusiastic and a self-motivated team player.

Desirable

Proven ability to raise income from grantmaking trusts, manage a portfolio of established and new trust donors, achieve targets as part of a fundraising business plan.

Experience working in a social mobility or education-focused charity.

Proven ability to engage philanthropists and senior volunteers and speakers who support these approaches.

About the Role
As the lead for this specialist area, you will:

• Drive the design and delivery of innovative interventions for children, young people and families affected by substance misuse.
• Develop group programmes, resources, and training to strengthen whole-family approaches.
• Build strong partnerships with key stakeholder such as adult substance misuse services, schools, children’s services, and health professionals to ensure seamless referral pathways.
• Develop and deliver training and consultation to external partners and stakeholders on the issues facing young people affected by substance misuse of others. 
• Champion safeguarding and best practice across the service.
• Hold a caseload of complex and high-risk cases involving children, young people, and families, delivering whole-family support, including parenting programmes and harm reduction strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate service impact, ensuring continuous improvement.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in working with families facing multiple risk factors, including parental substance misuse.
• Skilled in delivering 1:1 and group interventions and developing new programmes.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• A strong communicator and collaborator, able to influence and lead within multi-agency settings.
• You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor to deliver high-quality clinical assessments as part of our therapeutic services. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled therapeutic practitioner to focus on assessment work, contributing to safeguarding, clinical decision-making, and effective service delivery within a trauma-informed framework.

About you

We have an exciting role available for a motivated and passionate leader to join the Floating Hub team as a Deputy Manager. The Floating Hub is a time limited, intensive intervention for targeted cohorts of people sleeping rough in hotspots across London. It is a multidisciplinary 24/7 ‘pop up’ assessment hub lasting up to 21 days in each location. Once each Floating Hub closes the team carry out a planned handover with all agencies to ensure that individuals are successfully rehoused. The Floating Hub provides safe off the streets accommodation and brings partners together under one roof to deliver rapid, tailored support, aiming to ensure that people do not return to rough sleeping.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and initiative service which specialises in working with people where other attempts to end their homelessness have failed. As a Deputy Manager, you will:

• Work closely with the service manager to ensure the effective day to day running of the service.
• Provide supportive supervision and line management to Assessment and Reconnection Workers, and other team members including night workers and hub assistants; providing guidance on complex cases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships, and work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services and other relevant agencies to set up the Floating Hub and ensure clients move on from the service into the appropriate accommodation with the correct support in place.
• Lead responsibility for overseeing the service rota and H&S for the Floating Hub. 

The role will typically be working Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

About you

We are looking for proactive and creative individuals with:

• Experience of working with vulnerable people and supporting a service delivery team.
• The ability to negotiate with a wide range of internal and external partners and build positive relationships.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in a sometimes pressurised environment. 
• Knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of rough sleepers.
• Experience of motivating and empowering staff and/or volunteers to take responsibility for delivering a high quality service to a vulnerable client group.
