The MCS Foundation are a leading UK charity working on decarbonising homes, heat and energy, with a particular focus on managing the innovative Local Area Retrofit Accelerator programme.
As Programme Manager, you will develop, coordinate and manage a range of projects sitting under the Foundation's Programme area. The projects place the Foundation at the centre of the sector and make progress towards the Foundation's goal of decarbonising all homes in the UK.
In this exciting, newly created role, you will manage projects sitting under the Programmes area of the charity. This is a new area for the Foundation and builds on their work providing grants to third-party organisations. They now want to take a more active role in the delivery of interventions and this role will be key to developing the right interventions and ensuring they deliver the required benefits. The role will be collaborating with other organisations and will involve managing relationships with a range of stakeholders and delivery partners.
A particular focus will be on managing the innovative Local Area Retrofit Accelerator programme. Through this programme, the Foundation will be working with localities around the UK to support local authorities and other key stakeholders in accelerating retrofit at scale by developing and delivering initiatives that will unlock supply and demand side barriers.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Programme Manager with significant knowledge of project management, partnership working and domestic energy efficiency/low carbon heating. Experience of delivering domestic retrofit-related projects, defined as home energy efficiency or heating improvements to reduce energy consumption or carbon would be hugely beneficial - however if not, a strong understanding and knowledge in this area will be crucial. You must be passionate about driving practical solutions to the climate emergency and happy working in a small team, with the ability to work across all levels with the need to be hands on.

About the role
The Post Holder will work within Spires’ Women’s Service. This service is comprised of:
A dedicated nighttime outreach service to support women who are involved in street-based sex working. This includes follow up work, casework, and multi-agency working.
Centre-based support for women with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This also includes casework and supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness team.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting a caseload of clients
· Completing one nighttime outreach shift a week (this is carried out in the Spires car)
· Supporting in the running of Spires’ women’s drop in services
· Supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness service where required
· Representing Spires to external stakeholders at multi-agency meetings
· Ensuring detailed and accurate records are kept of all client work.
About you
You will have previous experience of working with people exhibiting complex needs and people experiencing homelessness. Ideally you will have experiencing supporting women with some of the following support needs: substance addiction, mental health needs, domestic violence, no recourse to public funds and sex working.
You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Experience of challenging appropriately and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
· Networking and effectively liaising with specialist service providers or agencies in order to establish and/or improve access to services for clients.
· Sound understanding of the issues faced by women and other individuals involved in sex work.
· Understanding of the legislation around supporting the victims of Domestic Violence.
· Understanding of the effects of trauma on people and how to work in a trauma informed way.
· Good understanding of safeguarding practices in outreach work, social care and/or day centre environment.
· Good understanding of confidentiality and working with sensitive information.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you will need a passion for working with families supported by a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Maximise Giving
You will implement a philanthropic giving strategy that significantly shifts the museums approach towards the generation of substantial philanthropic income and that supports the Museum's vision and mission. Reputation and Engagement
You will build the profile of the Museum through donor engagement. You will work closely with the CEO building new networks, opening new doors and linking with communities in support of the museum's philanthropic goals and furthering its reputation and that of the sector.

About the role

It is an exciting time to join Alzheimer's Society and the Group Facilitator role will ensure people affected by dementia are able to meet others in a similar situation, access the support they need whilst enjoying meaningful and often exciting activities. Our local groups are going through a change, and this is an exciting time for you to join us and make this role your own.
We aim to cover all of Derbyshire to allow everyone the opportunity to access this service whilst bringing in elements of information to those attending. The role will be expected to offer two face to face groups for people affected by dementia a week and then every fortnight an early evening Carers online group. The successful candidate will be managing a supportive and experienced team of dedicated volunteers.
You will;
- Setup, promote, establish, organise and facilitate or deliver group(s) and ensure that all attending are supported to fully engage in the session.
- Recruit and guide volunteers that the volunteers have clarity about their roles and undertake appropriate training.
- Take views and feedback of service users, taking into account the individual needs of members of the group.
- Assist the service users to feel welcome and to understand the aims and benefit of the group(s), and welcome all new attendees, providing information about the group.
- Proactively support an inclusive and welcoming working environment where all people we support feel able to be themselves.
About you
We are looking for a compassionate, supportive person with a good understanding of dementia and how it impacts both the person with the diagnosis and the carer. Our role requires excellent communication skills to engage people in group activities, ensuring the person with dementia can fully participate as well as the carer.

We're recruiting a skilled Service Manager to join our Eye Care Support Services (ECSS) Management Team in the North of England.
In this varied role, you will provide day to day leadership to a team of Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLO's). Your excellent people management skills and transparent management style will enable you to motivate and manage a geographically dispersed team, providing support and sensitively being the driver of change and new service initiatives.
You will be accountable for managing the full operational delivery of our ECLO services across the North of England (Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham, Teesside and other locations as required.) You will be skilled at influencing external stakeholders to attract service funding, working autonomously to produce reports, manage your budget, deliver presentations and ensure KPI's are met. You will manage key internal relationships to support the delivery of our service, ensuring patients can access support at a time which is right for them.
As part of the Eye Care Support Services (ECSS) Management team, you will support and maintain key relationships across health and social care services, participate in strategic and business planning processes and engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that RNIB can reach more people with sight loss, earlier.
Supporting ECLO's and services, mainly across the North of England, will require regular local and occasional national travel, which may involve overnight stays.
This role is eligible for an enhanced criminal record check which includes a check of the children's and adults barred lists.

About the role
As we continue to build on the successes achieved over the last 3 years, Gresham College is seeking a new Head of Fundraising and Engagement, who will be responsible for driving income generation for the College and for engaging our audiences through traditional and digital means.
The Head of Fundraising and Engagement will play the central role in continuing to draw new forms of income to support the College’s educational mission. You will lead on a portfolio of income-generating activities, including individual giving and legacies, corporate sponsorship, events, trusts and foundations, business development, venue hire and collaborative partnerships.
You will build on the success of the 6.5 million annual views of our YouTube channel to generate income from small donations and memberships, as well as play the lead role in growing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporations.
As Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will have responsibility for the College’s wider profile and engagement, in owned, earned and paid-for media, including traditional and digital channels.
You will be responsible for brand management and development, including management of the College’s online and PR presence to grow our profile and reputation.
The Head of Fundraising and Engagement will line manage a team of four.
Who we are looking for
You will have a track record of success in raising income in a charity environment, alongside knowledge of the requirements of the fundraising regulator and best practice in the sector.
You will bring experience of working across a range of income generation areas and activities, including membership, HNWIs, corporate, and trusts and foundations. It is essential that candidates demonstrate their ability to identify, build and maintain strong donor, sponsor and supporter relationships. You should also be familiar with managing engagement and communications programmes, particularly through digital means.
Candidates should bring experience of managing individuals or teams focused on income generation within a relevant setting and be able to demonstrate the impact of their leadership through the achievement of successful income generation activities.
