SENIOR SERVICE MANAGER

Location: Hybrid, Oxfordshire

Are you an experienced mental health service leader who can hit the ground running?

Can you lead change, inspire teams and help shape the future of an innovative crisis support service?

 

Oxfordshire Mind is seeking an exceptional Senior Service Manager to provide interim leadership for its Safe Haven service, a vital alternative to NHS mental health crisis support across Oxfordshire.

 

This is a high-profile, hands-on leadership role at a pivotal time for the service. You will lead and support a talented team, strengthen key commissioner relationships, drive service improvement and help prepare the service for a significant re-tender later this year.

 

About You

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading mental health, wellbeing or community services

• Strong operational leadership and people management skills

• Experience managing contracts, performance and budgets

• A track record of leading service improvement and organisational change

• Excellent stakeholder management and partnership-building abilities

• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health support

 

About the Role

• Provide senior leadership to the Safe Haven service

• Lead a programme of change to support successful re-tendering

• Support and mentor an experienced Team Manager

• Drive quality improvement and KPI performance

• Strengthen relationships with commissioners and key partners

• Oversee budget management, governance, safeguarding and risk

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced interim leader to make an immediate impact within a respected mental health charity and help shape the future of crisis support services across Oxfordshire.

 

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
