Prospect Research Officer
Our client is an astounding group of professionals who believe that people’s sight matters. They have ambitious growth plans to increase the investment they are able to make in life changing eye health by supporting the work of a specialist eye hospital and its academic partner and funding innovative research, equipment, patient care and training through the delivery of innovative programmes of fundraising work. The prospect research officer will develop and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline in order to provide the philanthropy team with an appropriate number and quality of qualified prospects across individuals, corporate, and trusts and foundations. The officer will produce insightful background research on current and prospective donors using financial, biographical, corporate and philanthropic information from trusted sources and compliance with GPDR and data protection laws. Reporting to the prospect research manager, they will regularly review the prospect research strategy in response to changing internal requirements.

The selected candidate will have experience with and understanding of the principles of philanthropy, fundraising practices, donor motivations and wealth indicators and will have experience of conducting structure background research on HNWIs, company Directors, and/or family Trust and Foundation Boards. This person will also have experience of producing accurate overview research on donors and prospects and will have the ability to help manage systems to support prospect pipeline management.

Role Purpose

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
• Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to assign new and existing partners
• Provide weekly updates on targets and expected income, and work to provide accurate forecasting.

Events Fundraising

• Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
• Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
• Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.

General Duties

• Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.
• Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required.
• Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures.

The Head of Governance will ensure that the organisation (including subsidiaries) has robust and effective governance in place which complies with statutory requirements and good practice in relation to company and charity law and charity governance. They will be a key strategic leader, expected to lead the development and improvement of governance at The Scouts.

The post holder will provide strategic leadership of the governance, and associated functions, supporting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to proactively and effectively lead and manage the organisation to operate efficiently at its best. They will also be a natural collaborator, working with key stakeholders such as The Head of Legal to provide high level technical advice to members of the Movement and TSA staff concerning governing documents and key decisions, whilst also supporting effective governance at headquarters.

The Role

To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Fork Lift Trucks (training provided). Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.

Key duties and responsibilities:

1. Operations

• Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient co-ordination and distribution and of food
• To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
• To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in

Purpose of the post

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Development and Delivery

• Work with the CEO of Greater Together Manchester to develop a work plan for engaging with existing parish based social justice projects and initiatives, with a focus on shifting from crisis response to prevention.
• Provide a range of development support to new projects and initiatives.
• Be the contact person for parishes seeking advice and support on addressing issues of social justice.
• Keep up to date with the work of national, regional and local organisations and charities that work in this space, as well as keeping up to date with government policies, initiatives and communicating these effectively to parishes and communities.

Revitalisation and Promotion of Church-Based Social Justice Work

Service Objectives

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
• To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
• To reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health with positive outcomes for the individual.
• To provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of Rose Lawn—leading a team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and inspiring staff through effective management, supervision, and development
• Upholding care excellence, ensuring we exceed CQC standards across all key areas
• Managing budgets, finances, and sustainability with confidence
• Building community, engaging with residents, families, churches, and local networks
• Fostering a safe and nurturing environment, rooted in compassion and faith

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• Completed or working towards Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
• Experience managing or supervising in a care setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills
• A passion for values-led, person-centred care

Desirable:

• Experience working with people with dementia
• Familiarity with Christian values in care environments
• Proficiency with digital care planning systems
